About Mountain View Cabin

This is definitely a one-of-a-kind hot tub lodge! You'll find Mountain View Cabin in the heart of The Highlands, perched in the historic village of Kinlochleven. This breathtaking remote mountain cabin envelops you in stunning scenery and offers unmatched privacy. So it's perfect for that special romantic escape.

The cabin is as cosy as it is quirky and has a fantastic private hot tub for those late-night soaks under the stars.

Nearby you've got the lovely village of Kinlochleven with plenty to see and do. As well as some fab places to eat and drink. You can walk right out of the cabin to the famous West Highland Way or explore the stunning Mamore Mountains.

Take an exciting ride on the Jacobite Steam Train or the mountain gondola at Nevis Range. If the surroundings look familiar, you might recognise them from films like Harry Potter and James Bond's Skyfall.

Your accommodation has everything for a perfect getaway. A warm wood burner and underfloor heating keeps the highland chills at bay and the cabin comfortably sleeps two. It's also pet friendly and the area is great dog(s).

The kitchen's combo microwave and induction hob are ideal for whipping up meals. And after you get out of the hot tub, you'll find plush bathrobes on standby.

If you love doing cool stuff on your getaways, there's loads to do here. Try skiing or snowboarding at the Glencoe range (15 miles, 30 min). Check out the Mountain Activity Centre (0.5 miles, 5 min) in the village, or visit the Nevis Range for a gondola ride (18 miles, 35 min). The Fort William Museum (22 miles, 40 min) is well worth the drive.

Mountain View Cabin is a fantastic pick for couples, especially if you adore nature and really want to get away from it all. Whether it's a romantic retreat or a surprise celebration, this lodge ticks all the boxes. Book a stay and experience the best of the Scottish Highlands with your partner and a bottle of bubbly!

Mountain View Cabin Reviews

Emma Roberts - Sep 2024
We found the place cosy enough for two of us and the dog. The hot tub was a real treat! Underfloor heating kept everything comfyand the bathrobes plus flip flops were nice touches. The small kitchen hob was simple but effective. A lovely welcome with Prosecco and a tablet!
James - Sep 2024
Nicky made everything simpleand the cosy cabin was perfect. Had a fantastic time, would definitely recommend to friends!
Emma - Jul 2024
Really enjoyed our stay here! The owners were super thoughtful, even with treats for Boris and the dog. Lovely place!
Emma - Jun 2024
This cosy cabin was perfect for our escape, right in a lovely spot. Everything was spotlessly clean and well planned, making it super comfortable. The hot tub was a real treat after mountain walks! We had such a great time and hope to return!
James - Jun 2024
This cosy cabin is perfect for relaxing, but the kitchen setup could be better.
Jamie - Apr 2024
Our stay was truly lovely from start to finish. The scenery was stunningand the cabin itself was super comfy-really top-notch. We kept in touch with Nicky before arrivingand she was just as friendly and warm in person. We hit a bit of a delay on the A82 thanks to a fallen tree, but rang Nicky and Garry to let them know we'd be late. No bother at alland when we finally got there, we found a sweet postcard note and some treats waiting for us-such a thoughtful touch. The cabin was perfect for a romantic breakand the hot tub on the last day was the cherry on top!
Emma - Feb 2024
Really enjoyed our stay at Mountain View Cabin. The place was cosy and well-kept, with three friendly pubs nearby and some lovely walks right from the doorstep. Would definitely come back!
Emma - Jan 2024
When we got to the cabin, it was surprisingly warm and super cosy. It had way more stuff than we thought - little touches like salt, pepper, wine glasses, even some extra blankets. The towels were really plushand the bedding was top quality. The hot tub was a real highlight, so warm and perfect to relax in, especially with the snow falling. We were also pleased with how warm the cabin stayed, sometimes a bit too warm, so we had to turn the heaters down - not a big deal! Parking was right outside the gate, which was really handy. Overall, a lovely stay!
Emma - Jan 2024
The room was spacious and super comfy. Loved the robes and flip flops - nice touch! The airer was handy, making our stay really pleasant.
Emma - Dec 2023
Honestly, this place was fantastic! The cottage itself was super cosy and by far the best holiday we've had in ages. The owners really thought of everything, making it so easy to settle in. The hot tub was just perfect, peaceful and quiet, ideal for relaxing. We even managed a lovely Christmas dinner, with all the utensils provided-no need to pack ours! The internet was fastand the TV’s smart features were a nice bonus. Can’t wait to return!
Emma - Nov 2023
Great spot, super cosyand they really love dogs here!
Emily - Oct 2023
The cabin was super cosyand the bed was so comfy! The hot tub was definitely the highlight of our stay.
Jenna - Oct 2023
The cabin was cosy and just as we expected - warm, tidyand with stunning views of the Mamore hills. We loved the hot tub, even during the rainy autumn days. The owners were really friendly and helpful with everything. Perfect spot for exploring the West Highland Way. We’d definitely stay again!
Sam - Sep 2023
Really enjoyed the stay, the cottage was charming and perfectly situated for exploring the area.
Emma - Aug 2023
The cabin was spotlessly clean and super comfy. After a long walk, the hot tub was just what we needed. Truly peaceful with beautiful scenery.
Gailyn - Jan 2023
We had a really great time here! The location is spot on for hill walking, with loads of walks in the area and even more a short drive away. The property was very clean and well presented, but we did find it a bit small for us and our dog during our week-long stay. It’s perfect for a quick weekend getaway, but for longer stays, it wasn’t the best due to a lack of storage and floor space. The kitchenette is quite tiny, just enough for the basics. But hey, the wood burning stove is fantastic!
Patsy - Jan 2023
We really loved the cabin! It was super comfy with a lovely bed and those views were just stunning. It felt so cosy inside! The hot tub was absolutely fabulous, even when it rained!
Jonny - Nov 2022
This place is just fantastic! We felt so welcomedand whenever we needed firewood, a quick message to the owner did the trick. The hot tub was amazing too, definitely a 10/10 from both of us!
Margo - May 2022
We found the place to be very clean! It is smaller than we expected but great for two to three nights. There isn’t much storage for food and clothes, though. The hot tub really made our two weeks worthwhileand we visited some lovely spots. The owners were really nice and super helpful.
Cathryn - May 2022
The cabin is just lovely! It's really comfortable and has a fantastic location. We couldn't have asked for more while staying here. Perfect for a getaway!
