Tummel Valley Reviews

"We stayed at the lodge recently and overall it was decent. Graham at reception was really friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble for him. The burger on our first day was a letdown-the bun was burnt to a crisp, so we ended up eating out for the rest of the week. Even the barman, Mr Goth, couldnt quite get a decent cappuccino right. The Wi-Fi was non-existent in the lodge, which was a bit disappointing, but hopefully next time its sorted!"

"Lodge was lovely and big and clean and warm, definitely value for money and used tesco vouchers. It is basic no frills but perfect with children less to worry about.Patio decking great outdoor space.Maybe some cushions?"
Sharon and Donald - Mar 2025
"We stayed at the lodge and really enjoyed it. Spacious, spotless and cosy-great value especially using Tesco vouchers. Its pretty simple but ideal with kids; less fuss. The outdoor decking is a lovely touch, maybe some cushions would be nice though!"
Emma and Lucy - Mar 2025

"Our Tummel Valley review: We had an amazing time at the lodge near Loch Tummel. The views are stunning and its so peaceful, perfect for unwinding. The walks with the dog were fantastic. The lodge itself is really well equipped - washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, big fridge and freezer. Definitely worth a visit!"
Alexandra Hughes - Feb 2025
"Very relaxing just a couple of things wrong but didnt ruin our time"
Peter - Nov 2024
"Overall, we had a lovely time despite a few minor hiccups."
James - Nov 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay here"
Emma - Oct 2024
"The caravan was pretty decent overall, though we did face some hiccups with the lighting and struggled a bit to get the heating going. We had to bring our own towels, which was a bit of an inconvenience. Outside, it was a tad messy, but hey, its expected in a forest area, isnt it?"
Oliver - Sep 2024
"apart from the issues with the lights and not being able to work the heating the caravan was quite good , we had to supply our own towels and things out side of van was a bit untidy but that was to be expected as we were in the forrest area"
Terence - Sep 2024
"Not a lot of nice things to say about it life guards werent helpful couldnt book a swim for my granddaughter even tho the pool wasnt busy food ok expensive for what u get tho some staff werent very nice with there time when asking questions not a lot for kids to do or entertainment and the caravan wasnt that great needed a good clean I swept the floor it was full of dirt and hair wouldnt go back or recommend"
Verified Guest - Sep 2024
"The forest trails are quite a trek to reach from the park, needing a drive each time we want to walk the dogs there. Not ideal for quick trips at all."
Jamie - Sep 2024
"Poor access to forest trails directly from the caravan park area.To go to the forest with the dogs, you need to drive a few miles by car."
Konrad - Sep 2024
"Overall, pretty happy with the work. Just a minor thing about the kitchen lino being under the floor strip-it could have been a tripping hazard, so worth noting."
Emma Roberts - Aug 2024
"We loved staying in one of the riverside lodges, the view was stunning and the amenities were great too!"
Emma - Aug 2024
"We stayed here recently and honestly, the location is stunning, with gorgeous views and a lovely surrounding area. Sadly, the accommodation didn't quite live up to expectations - it needed a proper deep clean and some of the facilities were faulty, like the bedroom TV not working and the main TV being pretty outdated. The cooker was also a bit temperamental. We found it tricky to keep our 16, 13 and 8-year-olds entertained, especially the older one, since it wasnt really geared towards teens. That said, were still keen to come back for a long weekend sometime!"
Emily - Aug 2024
"The caravan was nearly perfect, just a shame about the broken glass and snapped remote on arrival."
Jamie - Aug 2024
"Broken glass and remote was snapped when arrived. Other than that it was the perfect caravan for us"
Stewart - Aug 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay here! The caravan was lovely, super clean and perfect for a quiet getaway. Beds were comfy and it had everything we needed."
James - Jul 2024
"To pricey for food and drinks and totally made a mistake with the bot box bingo wont be using parkdean resorts bar entrainment or restaurant"
Dawn - May 2024
"Comfortable, clean van with nice features"
James - May 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, everything was spotless and super cosy too!"
Harriet - Mar 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, the lodge was lovely and perfectly located near the main building. Would come again!"
Emma - Mar 2024
"We stayed at the caravan and found it to be spotless, which was great. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful, though the girl we spoke to on the phone about the boiler seemed to forget about our issue. The main problem was the boiler not working when we arrived, so no hot water or heating all Friday night. We called reception at 6.30pm, told it would be sorted, but no one came. We expected it to be fixed Saturday morning, but nothing. Very disappointing!"
Emma Parker - Nov 2023
"The holiday was lovely overall. The heating was broken at first, but they sorted it out quickly. Great service all round!"
Emma Carter - Nov 2023
"We booked a larch caravan mainly because it had a washer and dryer, but sadly, when we got there, the washer was out of order and there was no replacement available. Had to queue up at reception to get money for the laundrette on site, which was a bit of a hassle, definitely not as easy as having one in the caravan. The restaurant on our last night was a bit disappointing too - lots of dishes werent available and we were told it was because of low season. However, they knew how many vans were booked on Monday, so it seems lazy not to stock enough food. Honestly, were not in a rush to return."
Sam - Nov 2023
"We had a fantastic time at Tummel Valley! The staff genuinely seemed happy and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. The park was bustling but well-kept and our caravan was spotlessly clean - bedding was crisp and fresh too. Definitely a place wed visit again!"
Emma - Nov 2023
"Our stay was fantastic! The lodge was the best pet-friendly place we've experienced. The staff truly went the extra mile, making our holiday even more special. Wed definitely return!"
Emma Carter - Nov 2023
"All the staff go above and beyond to make your holiday fantastic. They work so hard and long hours. Always service with a smile"
