We had a fantastic stay at this lodge! It’s super clean and fully stocked with everything you need. The pet-friendly vibe is brilliant - plenty of space for the dog to run around. The place feels really cosy and romantic, especially with that lovely bathroom and eco hot tub. The owners are lovely and made us feel so welcome, with a nice basket and dog pack. We’d definitely come back when we’re in Scotland again!

Absolutely loved the cabin! The location was stunningand the little details really made it feel special. We had a fantastic break and can't wait to return!
James - Mar 2023
We had a lovely stay at the lodge, which was spotless and well-presented. Janice was really welcoming and friendly, making us feel at home even during her busy lambing and calfing season-she always had time for a chat. The views of the rolling hills from both sides are absolutely stunning. We're already thinking about coming back next year. If you're after a peaceful, high-quality break, this place is perfect!
Emma - Mar 2023
Absolutely loved this place! So tranquil and well-placed for exploring Perth, Dundee, or St Andrews. Easy to unwind all day or venture out when you fancy.
Emma - Mar 2023
We had an absolute lovely stay! The place was spotlessly clean and well equipped, making everything feel so cosy. The bathroom felt genuinely luxurious, which was a nice surprise. The bed was massive and super comfy-honestly, we had the best sleep ever. We really enjoyed the wood-fired hot tub, no chemicals and perfect for relaxing under the stars. The area is peaceful yet well connected to main roads. Plus, the hosts were so friendly and helpful, which made our trip even better. Highly recommend!
Sophie - Jan 2023

Jamie - Oct 2022
We had a lovely stay at this cosy rural lodge. The bed was super comfyand the whole place felt modern yet warm. The open-plan living space was bright and well-equipped, making it easy to relax. Being on a working farm with woodland nearby was pretty charming. The hot tub was a real highlight - so relaxing! The owner’s welcome pack and personal guide on arrival made everything smooth. Definitely a place we’d return to!
Alex Morgan - Aug 2022
We had an amazing stay at the lodge! The finishing touches really made it specialand the bath was perfect for a long, relaxing soak - we even used some Highland company orange and cinnamon bubble bath from the antiques centre next door. The hot tub was a real highlight, used it four times and loved every minute. Waking up to cows outside was such a treat. We loved it so much we're planning to come back in 2023. It was the perfect intro to Scotland - so welcoming and peaceful!
Oliver - Apr 2022
Really loved the lodge, it’s a fantastic spot for relaxing. The only downsides were having to be back by 3pm to enjoy the hot tub since it takes ages to heat up-up to four hours! Also, the WiFi was pretty sluggish, fine for Netflix but no good for catch-up or on-demand. Still, we’d definitely come back if we’re in Scotland again!
Emma - Feb 2022
The lodge was really comfy and surprisingly spacious, with a huge bathroom that was just perfect. It’s so warm and inviting, especially during the snowy weather. Lovely peaceful spot, close to walks and cycling, yet not far from Dundee or Perth.
James - Feb 2022
The cottage was super cosy and had everything we needed. The hot tub was lovely, though it did take ages to heat up - but it’s winter, so no surprise! The peaceful spot and warm welcome with local bubbly made it a great stay. Lovely hosts too!
Jamie - Jan 2022
The lodge was absolutely lovely-really roomy and cosy. Loved the local snacks on arrival, such a thoughtful touch. The eco hot tub was fantasticand the owner couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. Great stay!
James - Nov 2021
Foxglove Lodge is lovely for couples looking to unwind or enjoy the countryside. The owners are super friendlyand there are plenty of walks and sights nearby. The café just a short stroll away serves the best breakfast we’ve ever had! We stayed a week for my partner’s 30th birthday and already wanna go back. Highly recommend for a relaxing escape!

Active Kid Adventure Park - DG7 3ET

Active Kid Adventure Park is the place to go if you have energetic children and are looking for a fun day out. The site boasts many attractions including a Zip Line, Target Football, Go Karts, Play Areas, Pony Rides and Crazy Golf. There are also some friendly farm animals to meet including a docile Donkey. Smoo Cave - IV27 4QB
about 30 Miles
Smoo Cave is a popular attraction which can be enjoyed all year round but visitors should wrap up warm during the winter months.  This spectacular limestone sea-cave in Sutherland is the largest in Britain and is simply spectacular. The cave was formed by a burn that runs down into the rear chamber, as well as erosion caused by the sea. Guests can take the path from the car park which runs right through the cave. Boat trips are available in the summer months and are an excellent way to fully appreciate the cave from all angles.
Brechin Castle Centre - DD9 6RL
about 36 Miles

So much more than a garden centre this place is ideal for a fun family day out in Angus. The garden centre stocks a huge range of plants, outdoor furniture and gardening equipment and also has a café serving tasty home made meals, cakes and snacks. The site has a large outdoor play area for children an ornamental pond and country park to explore. Halloween and Bonfire night's events are coming up soon. The annual Fireworks Display is really spectacular.
