About Woodlands House

Inside, the farmhouse exudes warmth and character. The farmhouse kitchen and dining area, with its beamed ceiling and rustic stone floor, welcomes you with open arms. Equipped with modern amenities, including an electric range oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher, it's your home away from home. Gather around the farmhouse table for leisurely breakfasts and family feasts.

Step into the inviting lounge, where three cosy sofas beckon. Here, you'll find a TV/DVD for entertainment and a wood burner for those evenings of ultimate relaxation.

The ground floor boasts a single bedroom with a double bed, an en-suite shower room, and a WC. We had an amazing stay at this lovely house! Itâ€™s super spacious and in such a pretty spot, perfect for a family gathering. We were eight celebrating a big birthday over Easterand one of the best parts was the delicious meal Lewis cooked for us on Saturday night. Weâ€™ve already told a friend about it, planning to organise another celebration here soon. Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing time here! The place is gorgeous, really spacious and well kitted out. It's perfect for special occasions or even just a nice getaway. The location is spot on - close to woodland trails and easy to reach Beaconsfield. Little extras like the welcome basket and music on arrival really made us feel special. Loved it!

We just had a fabulous long weekend at Hillmotts Farm! The house is beautifully decorated and has such a fantastic homely feel, with everything we needed for a really relaxed stay. The area around is stunning for dog walksand the hot tub was perfect for those chilly evenings. Hayley is an amazing host and the lovely welcome gifts were a nice bonus too.

RHS Garden Wisley is an excellent choice for a day trip, offering excellent value for money all year round. A yearly membership is available so visitors can take advantage of the parks attractions as often as they wish. On entry to the park visitors can pick up a family trail which offers suggestions of places within the grounds to visit and explains all the fun things to do in the garden. There are many areas to explore including the beautiful Rose Garden, the amazing Glasshouse and the Café which served home made locally sourced food.

The exhibits have been well thought out and it's a pleasure to wander around this museum looking at everything on offer. You can be assured of a warm welcome from the moment you arrive and for kids and adults alike this makes a fun and educational day out.

Lee Valley Park Farms - EN9 2EF

Located in the Waltham Abbey area of Essex this lovely farm will appeal to families especially those with small children. With animals including Ella and Eve the goats and Tallulah and Barbara the pigs younger children will delight in meeting and learning about the various farm animals. Other attractions on the farm include the new indoor soft play area where children can moo like a cow while whizzing down the big cow slide or dive into the ball pools. Look out for a range of activities taking place each weekend and during school holidays such as sheep shearing, bottle feeding the lambs and even pig racing. When it's time to sit down and recharge your batteries head for the Orchard Cafe or one of the ready made picnic areas.
