wonderful holiday location and apartment but where was the golf view?
Date of stay: 17th April 2017
Was beautiful, 3 bathrooms, ensuite to large double room, private hot tub, sauna inside the lodge, bbq area, loads of space, quiet.

Date of stay: 27th December 2016
A very spacious lodge and although there were only three of us it would have been roomy enough for six guests.

All the kitchen appliances were good quality and everything possible was provided.

Very comfortable furnishings if a little dated. Perhaps the bath in the en-suite could be changed to a shower or a shower cubicle added.

The only downside was no wi fi connection and no mobile phone signal - very much expected now.

Would certainly like to stay in the summer and use the outdoor patio area and balcony.

A bonus that car parking is provided outside each lodge.

Date of stay: 24th September 2016
The open plan of the dining room and lounge was adequate but opening the crockery cupboard and drawers below was difficult because the table was fixed.
It was difficult to access the shelving to get out mugs, plates and dishes without trapping fingers between the door and the Oven Housing Unit.
The papers for using the cooker and microwave were "hidden" in a drawer trapped by a dining room chair.

Accommodation was brilliant with every thing you would need, beds very comfortable.

Date of stay: 13th August 2016
We had a great time, thank you Clowance Estate. Cleanliness was excellent overall. Couple of scuffs on the sofa here and there but that's being very fussy. The grounds are superb and the feel of Clowance estate is amazing. We miss it already. Coach House Apartments were really excellent. Really difficult to find things to complain about. Such a lovely place, wouldn't want to put the place down.

Lovely comfortable bed's felt very homely.
Date of stay: 1st August 2016
The lodge and equipment were fantastic, the hot tub was a bonus, we did not use the sauna. Summer duvets would have been better.

Date of stay: 4th June 2016
The lodge was lovely. It was very clean and included comforts including flat screen tv, mini hifi and sauna. It did have a jacuzzi bath but that unfortunately didn't work. They provided all of your kitchen utensils and pots and pans which were all very clean and placed very neatly, we even had a cafetiere and they had provided washing up liquid, cloths and sponges, tea towels, oven gloves and even dishwashing tablets for the dishwasher! The decor could do with updating but this certainly didn't put me off as it was so well maintained. There was also a lovely patio area with bbq area and a nice garden dining set. I could go on and on, lets just say they had thought of everything!!

Very good accommodation, spacious and comfortable with everything you need.
Only complaint is the leather sofa's very noisy to sit on.

Date of stay: 30th May 2015
We had a great week at clowance estate, fantastic surroundings for the children to run play and explore. Very quiet around the lodge and private. The use of facilities is great value for money as they are all included in the price, boys loved the pool, we had a treatment also at the beauty spa- definitely recommend! The only downside of the holiday is the only entertainment for the children was Monday, wed and thurs morning, it would have been lovely if something for the children i.e a disco could have been put on, I feel the evening entertainment is definitely aimed at the more senior guests.
Toni, Essex
Date of stay: 4th April 2015
Lovely accommodation, it was very warm and comfortable. We stayed in the Baltic Lodge which was massive - lodge had a private sauna, 3 bathrooms, one equipped with a whirlpool bath really was faultless. Can't recommend highly enough.
Sharon, Porthcawl

Lodge was lovely if a little bit dated

Date of stay: 30th August 2014
Fabulous views from our apartment across the lake. Lots if space outside for the children to enjoy. The apartment was warm, comfortable and had everything needed.
Date of stay: 30th August 2014
The one thing that stuck out on arrival was the quantity and quality of the crockery and cutlery which was good and nothing had been forgotten. There was even a welcome tray of tea/coffee but no milk portions so after a long journey you were unable to have a cuppa straight away, It was a trip to the supermarket to get milk. The lodge itself was really clean although there was a fusty smell to the lodge so it needed extra airing a spray of air freshener.
Teresa, Wallingford
Date of stay: 23rd August 2014
The lodge was far more spacious than we had imagined with plenty of storage space and a well equipped kitchen. The decor and bathrooms are a bit dated and could do with bringing up to a higher standard but are perfectly adequate.

Everything we needed.

Date of stay: 19th July 2014
Really great lodge. The only fault was that some swallows had nested in the eaves and there was a pile of deposits from them on the patio. This was the only fault however and did nothing to detract from the beauty of the surroundings or the lodge itself.
Tom, Warwick
Date of stay: 22nd February 2014
sauna really good, great value at offer price - less so at full price.
Outstanding, because our studio apartment wasn’t ready as still being built we were given the biggest house that was new!!! It was huge with all mod cons 3 double bedrooms all with large wet rooms and stand alone baths. Hot tub and balcony and several seating areas. Beautiful view over the golf course. Thankyou Clowance Estate. We had ended up with a private driveway and huge house that would have cost approx three times more than we paid for the week. Very satisfied customer👍😉
We had a fantastic stay during February half term. The lodge was very well equipped and it was very comfy! The on-site resources were excellent and we had a lovely meal in the restaurant. The only thing we would say that needed improving was the hot tub as the lodge we stayed in slept up to 8 but there was only room for 2 in the hot tub.
Fantastic couldn't fault best Xmas ever
The grounds are idyllic & the lodge was beautiful. There is plenty to do at the Clowance Estate should you want to. We went as a family of 6 with 4 girls aged 15, 11, 9 & 8. The pool was lovely and warm and a particular favourite of the younger 2 although it wasn't very shallow. The reception staff were always happy to help & very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas as were the bar staff. The evening entertainment was fantastic & well worth making the effort to go and listen/watch & take part. There were 2 rowing boats that you can take out free of charge & if you're lucky you may see the Kingfishers on the lake. There is also a new game (also free) called frisbee golf - now that is really good fun, just watch you don't lose your frisbee! There are giant chess & draughts, tennis, badminton, bootcamp, archery (for a fee) and Segway (also for a fee - but comparable to elsewhere) We will be going again.
Lovely place, been before and will be back again!
lovely spacious apartment, beautiful grounds to explore, good facilities such as tennis courts and swimming pool, good quality food and drink if a little expensive.
Bit annoying have screaming children above us and running about at silly hours. Maybe put young children in ground floor to avoid the disturbed sleep we had. Comfortable apartment though.
