Landal Clowance Reviews

"Fantastic and relaxing sty in such a peaceful setting.let down by 2 things: golf course shut, when it had been advertised when we booked and the lodge we were is a little frayed at the edges. They didn’t detract from our enjoyment but took away from the polish when compared to the rest of the venue."
Ivor - Jul 2022
"Superb surroundings and settings. Exceptional lodge that was one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in. Staff on the resort were amazing. The restaurant was also top quality. It’s a bit on the expensive side, but, you get the quality you pay for."
Anthony - Jul 2022
"Absolutely fantastic place to stay. We stayed in the treehouse which was just amazing! Location was so central for days out. Would love to return and stay longer as there is so much to do and see! Highly recommend"
Laura - Jun 2022
"We had a fabulous stay , our lodge was amazing very clean bright and airy - a great design. Our wonderful meal in the restaurant on site offered local produce superbly cooked , the very friendly & knowledgeable staff added to our delightful evening. My only minus was the spa pool was too cold but the Jacuzzi was great."
Keith - Jun 2022
"All staff are polite, helpful and friendly. Restaurant food was fantastic experience"
Ashley - Jun 2022
"Staff aleays helpful and polite. Location is great."
Dan - Apr 2022
"Woodland lodge- Group of 8 Pro: Beautiful grounds, well equipped lodge, friendly staff, good restaurant and sports activities. Con: 24hr reception not contactable out of hours."
Chung - Apr 2022
"The location was a great mix of being peaceful and calm but still close enough to popular tourist hot spots for visiting. We had a great stay but did struggle with signal so the texts we were receiving from reception didn’t come through until we’d left the estate. We loved the lodge and hot tub and we loved walking around the estate feeding the birds and seeing the lake. The pool was fab and the changing facilities were clean. We’d love to come back in future."
Aimee - Apr 2022
"We enjoyed our stay. We were comfortable and enjoyed the hot tub. The only criticism would be lack of a mirror (outside of the bathroom one) had to style hair without a mirror. But everything else was great! Can’t wait to come back again!"
Kelly - Feb 2022
"Cornwall suited us perfectly. Very clean and comfortable"
David - Aug 2020
"We had the best time here, we found it very central which really was what we were looking for. We come to Cornwall every year and stay at different places but we loved it here so much we are going to rebook to come back next year."
Camellia - Aug 2020
"We would book the Gatehouse again. We enjoyed our holiday very much."
Ellen - Jul 2020
"Had a fantastic 4 nights in the treehouse. It Lived up to our expectations. The Clowance estate is quite central to a lot of local places to visit/ Nation Trust etc. Its our 40th wedding anniversary this year which was partly the reason for the trip. Would definitely go again if could get a good deal."
Patricia - Mar 2020
"Was an amazing experience at the Clowance lodge, amazing venue and very private when using our hot tub. Was very peaceful even tho working was happening it did not disturb us"
Natalie - Mar 2020
"We had a lovely stay at Clowance, accommodation was spotlessly clean, hot tub was super relaxing and the facilities/pool was just perfect. My partner enjoyed some relaxing treatments in the Spa and highly recommends the spa if you are into massages and treatments etc.."
Ben - Mar 2020
"Cant emphasise enough, that I will be returning. Next time Ill be coming in the summer though!"
Russell - Feb 2020
"Fantastic time with memories made"
Rebecca - Feb 2020
"As expected the Hot Tub was not ready for use on the first night. I understand that they need to be emptied and cleaned before use. Maybe this could be started from 8am on the morning of departure.
The spa bath was disappointing. When I switched the jets on, scummy residue came through them and it smelt like stagnant water. I reported this to reception and the bath was cleaned the next day.
The cabin as a whole could do with a refresh as many of the fixtures and fittings are showing their age."
Keith - Feb 2020
"the only issue was that we were 6 adults staying in lodge and the hot tub only comfortably took 4 ."
Jane - Feb 2020
"Fantastic break, wish we had booked for longer!, everything was perfect."
Jade - Feb 2020
"Amazing place to stay! We will definitely be booking again this year"
Emily - Jan 2020
"Lodge was absolutely beautiful!"

"Amazing place, wonderful surroundings, lovely decor, friendly staff and lovely restaurant."
Leah - Oct 2019
"The lodge was lovely and as nice as the photos. The bed was very comfortable. A fuse blew but was fixed quickly. The prices do seem very high and we will not be able to visit once our children have reached school age but we were very happy with our choice on this occasion."
Laura - Oct 2019
"Other then a big spider that found its way onto my pillow a perfect lodge. So relaxing"
Bethany - Oct 2019
"Wi-Fi has annoying login page which can become a pain. Mobile phone signal not the best in this area so using that as alternative not good option."

"Fabulous stay at Clowance Estate. Very relaxing and peaceful stay and excellent facilities for everyone."
Rebecca - Sep 2019
"Fabulous lodge with everything thought of."
Mia - Sep 2019
"This was such an amazing holiday, so relaxing & perfect.

Highly recommended"
Sharon - Aug 2019
"Overall a fab holiday. Unfortunately we were very unlucky and our hot tub broke and a part was needed. Would recommend."
Kim - Aug 2019
"Superb lodge situated in beautiful quiet grounds. The living area and master bedroom were of a good size. The mezzanine bedroom is very cute but the beds were too small for our teenagers (17,15) to comfortably sleep in for a week. The lodge is very well equipped with everything you needs and lots of storage space. The patio furniture and hot tub were great. Lovely to be in the hot tub and look up at the stars! Swimming pool was well managed and maintained. We ate at the restaurant once. Basic and limited menu. The food was well cooked and prepared but overpriced for what we ate. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. The site was beautiful."
Julian - Aug 2019
"Lovely lodge. Clean and modern. Need some hooks for coats and bags and blinds at the living room side windows as it was very bright in the mornings for those sleeping on the sofa bed."
Hannah - Aug 2019
"Would certainly recommend Clowance estate for either a short break or indeed a week's vacation."
Michael - Jul 2019
"Fantastic holiday in a lovely calming facilities"
Lois - Jul 2019
"Brillant time had by all ."
Claire - Jul 2019
