Date of stay: 1st June 2018
Absolutely lovely cabin - very clean, with everything you could possibly need, and with its own secluded hot tub. Situated in a very peaceful wooded valley about 1.5 miles from Perranporth Beach. Quite a scary, very narrow road to negotiate to get to the site, but apart from that, it was fantastic. Would definitely visit again.

This was the best holiday in the UK that we have been on. The staff were friendly and very helpful from the time you arrive. They are very knowledgeable about things to do in Cornwall and have good discounts with local business.

The apartment was clean and inviting and so quiet. the Hot tub is also a very nice special touch

Brilliant location and accommodation. Would certainly recommend to dog owners as the balcony has a gate so the dog cant wander off.
Amy, Plymouth
Date of stay: 14th May 2018
We really enjoyed staying in one of the Lidden Lodges. The facilities were great and the little extras (e.g. dishwasher tablets) were very helpful. The sofa was a bit tired looking, but very comfy. I cant say Ive ever seen such a tall toilet though!! The lodge was very clean (except for the half-eaten dog chew under the bed from a previous occupant!) and tidy and the layout was good. We loved the little outdoor garden area too, as it caught the sun for most of the day. The hot tub was topped up with chemicals and checked over each day by the staff. Overall it was a very pleasant visit and we would definitely stay here, in one of these lodges, again.
Jordan, Alton
Date of stay: 14th May 2018
Lovely place to stay. I would definitely recommend. The only problem we had was finding the place because the sat nav wanted to take us off-roading! But it is Cornwall after all!

Leycroft Valley is a lovely, quiet, peaceful place.
It can be a little tricky to find, as it is located along a long narrow road, it is in Cornwall though so nothing new there! The staff were very friendly and helpful, the lodge was equipped with everything which you would need. The Hot Tub was lovely, especially in the evening under the stars.
A most enjoyable stay.

Hot tub was the best thing.. it was clean and the temperature was great too.

Only negative comment is that the bed wasnt comfortable at all, I would say way too basic for the price we paid.

Such a lovely, clean, peaceful place. We will definitely be going back. The staff were lovely, too. There's plenty to do in Perranporth and the surrounding areas. We stayed in a Carne Cabin which was perfect for a 4 night stay but if you go for longer I'd recommend going for a bigger accommodation as storage is limited.

Ruth, Little Paxton
Date of stay: 6th October 2017
Very friendly staff, great location and lots of helpful information provided. Down some tiny country lanes but so are most of the interesting places in Cornwall. Hot tub was a touch of luxury although the lodge could do with a lick of paint here and there. We had a fantastic time at Leycroft.
Dawn, Kent
Date of stay: 29th September 2017
Carne cabin is an ideal hideaway for a couple , Being an open plan living & sleeping area it could prove a little cramped after a week tho. All in all its a superb little unit with a great hot tub. We stayed in unit C5 next to reception & i can honestly say there was no noise or disturbance at all so dont be put off by the location . The designated car parking for the unit is immediately in front of the building & very safe. This unit is the one with least steps to the car. But i would say not suitable for disabled customers as the steps are curved & can be very slippery from the tree sap. Its a peaceful site & ideal for dog walkers. The staff are great & the unit is very well furnished.
Gareth, Swansea
Date of stay: 29th September 2017
It was fab just what we needed and the hot tub was fab too.

Friendly helpful staff, beautiful and peaceful park, will be recommending,I and my husband had a wonderful weekend break, thank you!
Ruth, Swansea
Date of stay: 18th September 2017
Will definitely be back to T1 as it was the most secluded with the best views. Will probably bring friends as there is a 2nd bedroom with en suite and plenty of space downstairs. Thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub although there could be more lighting nearby. Highly sensitive smoke alarms too, but it could've been my cooking skills...or lack thereof! Made full use of the facilities including the washing machine and Monopoly on a rainy afternoon. Leather sofas are a bit cold, I'd take a throw next time. Lovely relaxing break.
Judith, Somerset
Date of stay: 15th September 2017

Date of stay: 5th May 2017
Perfect size, most facilities provided. Very clean and comfortable. Spent every evening in the hot tub. Only negative was that most cabins had a roof/cover over the hot tub but ours didn't meaning cannot use it when the weather is bad. Although didn't stop us! Private and just what we needed.
Amy, Sawbridgeworth

Date of stay: 21st April 2017
Didn't match the photos on the website and description. The website states the photos were of a typical lodge; it was clearly the best lodge there. No washing machine and tumble drier as stated; we were told only a few have these. Lodge was well set out and comfortable though (just not as nice as the website shows)

We came for a quick break after our wedding and brought our two children (ages 4 & 6). We had stayed on one of our anniversaries without our children and always said we would love to have taken them with us as they would have enjoyed it. We weren't disappointed, the staff were amazing the first time. This time they were even better and just fantastic with the kids as well! Thank you Leycroft Valley! I'm sure we will return again in the future! As for the lodge, it was perfect, couldn't fault a thing! The kids enjoyed feeding the ducks aswell.

A few things needed sprucing up. The radiator in the lounge could do with painting and the few bulbs on the decking were out.

Great otherwise.
Darren, Grimsby
Date of stay: 10th February 2017
Absolutely amazing holiday!
At first the roads leading into the resort scared the life out of me and made me hate Cornwall , but once you get in it is absolutely beautiful, so quiet and peaceful. With a tiny waterfall just outside our door too, it even sounded cool. Had my own designated parking spot just outside our cabin. The cabin was clean and spacious and the hot tub was ready to go from the minute we got there. And it is within walking/driving distance from some amazing sights. Despite the weather being shocking while we were there.... The longest drive we did was an hour and that was kynance cove, but there are some beautiful places within 20 minute drive. Would definitely recommend it to everyone!

Everything was lovely and well equipped lodge. Slight problem cooking as all numbers had worn off cooker so took a while to figure out oven/grill setting. After setting smoke alarm off once figured out best to keep door open and fan on. would definately come again. Peaceful surroundings.

Date of stay: 26th September 2016
Lodge was in a lovely secluded spot on the site. The site was so quiet and peaceful, just what was needed to unwind. Lodge was clean, tidy and staff were really helpful. The addition of the hot-tub made our holiday - nothing better than spending a rainy day under cover in the hot-tub to help unwind. We only stayed for 3 nights but came away feeling like we'd had a weeks' holiday. We plan to return very soon.

The Lodge was brilliant, had everything we needed for a week. It was quiet, relaxing and private.
The bed was a little on the small size for a tall person so my husband suffered a little bit but when we go again we will choose a different lodge.

Date of stay: 8th August 2016
Lovely place. The only negative was the stress that came with the hot tub and the threat of it being drained if it's not being used correctly. You did feel like the hot tub police were watching you.
Tracy, Lydney Gloucestershire

Date of stay: 15th July 2016
We loved the cabin. It was beautifully prepared for us so we could just unpack as soon as we arrived. Everything was clean and tidy and the useful kitchen equipment made self-catering very easy. We were very impressed with the spacious treetop terrace and we had breakfast outside every day listening to the birds and the sound of the breeze in the trees. The hot tub was a bonus - we hadn't really been looking for accommodation with a hot tub but we really enjoyed having it and were able to use it every day even though the weather wasn't always perfect!
Sandra, Northamptonshire

Date of stay: 11th July 2016
Wonderful holiday in a peaceful and relaxing setting. Local beaches very close and plenty to keep the family entertained. The lodge was very comfortable and the hot tub a bonus. Downside would be there are no immediately local amenities making transport a must and the nearest pub is nearly 2 miles away and is unsuitable for walking with a buggy.

leycroft valley is a lovely clean site. well maintained and very peaceful.hot tubs are great to come home to after a busy day. its in an excellent location, close to many places , eg st ives. mill lodge was excellent. one minor fault was lack of wardrobe space, but overall superb.

Date of stay: 13th May 2016
First rate accommodation, excellent facilities including dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave. Sky package including sky sports and additional Tv in bedroom. Private parking in front of your easily accessed lodge was much appreciated. The hot tub was excellent, large enough for 4 people, undercover and positioned on the large deck which proved very relaxing in the evening. the road to access the park is typical Cornwall, quite narrow with passing points, but we experienced no problems. The Miners alms pub is highly recommended for food and drink and can be walked to in 15 - 20 mins, albeit over a couple of stiles and a grassed field but well worth it.

Lovely place, of course the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Loved the way, we were not overlooked by other properties, lodges are laid out not in a regimented way which made them feel very homely.

This lodge was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was awesome and great to come back to every day. Even if it was raining the covering meant we were kept dry and could relax in the hot tub, sheer bliss.

Date of stay: 19th February 2016
A lovely area ,but not easily accessed . Lovely accommodation and the facilities within the accommodation were good.
Only criticism the position of the hot tub was overlooked by the adjacent property and the hot tub was not hot until the second day. We could not use it on the day of arrival .
Lauren, Bath

Been here twice and love it! Very relaxing and a stones throw from everything Cornwall has to offer!
Gemma, Plymouth
Date of stay: 14th February 2016
The only downside was the sofas. They were only just big enough for 4 of us - and we are only small people! Also they tended to lide on the floor. More comfy sofas would have made everything 10/10. Other than that the accommodation exceeded our expectations.
Adam, Weston-super-mare
Date of stay: 1st February 2016
The Mill Lodge (2) was amazing. It was so private and designed to a high standard. I could not fault one thing in that lodge, especially as we are looking at staying there again later on in the year.

The cabin was the perfect romantic new year get away that we were looking for. The cabin itself was very cosy and had a lovely atmosphere. The site is quaint with everything you need. We were impressed with how they catered for everything and location wise it's perfect being close to the little town for shopping and eating out and only a couple of miles away from Newquay and their amazing beaches.
I would highly recommend this to everyone and would be suitable for couples and fanilies!

We had a lovely, relaxing break! Lodge was just what we needed - clean, amazing hot tub, beautiful location and central (lots to do in the local area). Good Wifi is the only thing that could have improved the break for us as signal was limited. We would definitely recommend and hope to return!
Daniel, Tidworth
Date of stay: 26th October 2015
Great accommodation. Comfortable, warm and very well equipped, with all the things needed for a great self catering holiday. The Coombe lodge was a good size, but we were only 3, and the lounge area was a bit small especially if when we were all sat in of an evening. Not a major concern though.
Geoff, Bridgwater

I don't think we would pay full price for this holiday, just because it's not affordable for us, we we're lucky to be able to go when there was a half price offer.
Lois, Milton Keynes
Date of stay: 31st August 2015
A very nice lodge, if a little small in the shower room and double bedroom. Our only bugbear was the ultra sensitive smoke alarm. We had been warned that this would probably go off if we cooked bacon, but didn't expect it to go off as soon as we put a piece of toast in the toaster! The hot tub was lovely.
Nicola, Gloucestershire

The tree house is lovely but needs blinds as over looks the next property. More privacy around the hot tub, maybe another couple of fence panels to screen it off.
Jacqui, Biddulph, Staffordshire
Date of stay: 31st July 2015
The lodge was lovely had all the amenities but would have liked it if there was a table and chairs on the decking so that we would have had a meal outdoors. The smoke alarm was an issue as it kept going off when cooking with the grill. Overall really enjoyed our time and was highly satisfied with the lodge would like to return at some point.
Shelley, Portsmouth
Date of stay: 20th July 2015
The lodge was lovely and clean. I loved the his and hers sinks and the shower was lovely. It suited us perfectly. We were lucky as our hot tub was quite hidden away but there were other lodges where the hot tubs were out in the open - I don't think I'd have enjoyed being on show quite so much. It comes with everything you need, they even filled our ice tray which was a lovely surprise after a 5 hour drive to be able to have a nice cold drink. Lovely staff, lovely lodge.
Robert, Cambridge

Dawn, Bedford
Date of stay: 24th April 2015
Really enjoyed my stay here with my partner and our 8 month old little girl.

Hot tub was amazing and highlight of the lodge. Lodge was clean with good cooking facilities and all linen and utensils supplied .

Was fantastic to have a washing machine with a baby.

Would have been nicer to have a slightly larger TV but only a very minor issue. Wi-Fi signal poor but at least you can get away from it all!

Would stay here again, already tempted to book for September!

We visited the second week of the Easter holidays 2015 and had such an amazing week! The site is so peaceful and tranquil and beautifully maintained you feel like you are miles away in the middle of nowhere under the stars in the hot tub but in reality you are just a 5 minute drive from perranporth beach (great for surfing!) and only 20 minutes from Newquay! The cabin was clean, attractive, modern and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need! I cannot wait to go back again! This will definitely be a site I will return to again and again!

A holiday here can be whatever you want it to be, whether you decide to chill out in the lodge and do nothing. lounge in the hot tub, or go to the village (only a short distance). there's plenty to do; and even if you want to venture further out, everything is accessible about 20 miles any direction and you will find something to do. The lodges are very well maintained and very clean, as are the hot tubs (they check hot tubs daily)
Jk, Plymouth

Hotub was a let down as wasn't under shelter so seeing it was January we had to go in it while raining. Wasn't much fun and that was what we were looking forward to. All others we could see had shelters

The narrow lanes weren't an issue but if the small lane to the rear if the tree houses could be given a better more gripping service it would make getting up there much much easier. The treehouse itself though was great.

Lovely lodge, very clean, lots of towels provided, gr8 having dressing gowns and slippers provided, heating was lovely, the lodge was not as private as I would like it to have been, we stayed right opposite the restaurant,so wasn't that private, could of done with more boarding up to make it more private, the Wi-Fi is very poor needs to upgrade to faster hub,the pathway is made out of sand and grit and stones,it got absolutely everywhere, the restaurant is ok my son had fish and chips, when it came couldn't believe how small the fish was, didn't eat there after, the tv could of done with being more near the corner sofa, why is there a dishwasher in the kitchen?u don't really use that many pots? Clean and modern cabin, Hot tub literally sparkled it was so clean! On site bar and restaurant was ideal for those nights that we didn't want to cook - and take away menu was available. Almost like home from home but with an added sparkle of glam! Loved it!

My only concern it that there was no cover above the hot tub, a step to get in nor shower which was on the majority of other cabins.

the lodge me and my girlfriend stayed in was perfect clean and tidy, nice and cosy, just the perfect relaxing holiday we needed to get away from everything else. only one downside in the lodge, the fire alarms set off easily.... I am a good cook really!

Out side seating overlooking wooden fence, hot tub orientated wrong way around, not private from passing people to other lodges. No outside dining table, settee needs recovering. However this is just being picky and would holiday here again, loved the dressing gowns and large lounge TV. Every mod con you could need.

Our lodge was lovely, smaller than I expected for 4 adults, but would be great for a family with young children. Outside area was fenced so safe to let children out as long as hot tub lids on firmly. Excellent facilities on site, bar, restaurant, wifi for those who need to keep in touch.

Everything was spot on,the couch looks a bit worn but was comfortable, the hot tub could of done with been a bit hotter and have a canopy over it.

The only thing that would make it 200% would be putting a roof over the hot tub as most of the weekend we were there it rained. we could still use it but it would have been much nicer with a roof.

This was our third stay and in a different lodge to pervious, the Mill House. It was very well presented with everything you need and we enjoyed the benefit of a bath as well as a shower.
The only comments I would make were that the bed was very firm and not to my liking (it would be impossible to keep everyone happy I know) and this was the first lodge with no glazed screen over the hot top to protect you from inclement weather. Lucky for us, with the exception of a bit of misty rain one evening, we were lucky but I doubt I would have like to have sat in it with heavier rain

We loved the setting of the lodge we stayed in and enjoyed listening to the owl outside the window at night. We were very impressed with the facilities and our children loved their room and tv. The lodge was very clean and well presented and we thought it was ideal for a family of four and 2 dogs !!!! Thank you for a lovely holiday.
Jude
A wonderful location and fantastic accommodation. Staff work very hard to keep the lodges and surround areas immaculate. We loved it.
Gregory
Lovely place not easy to get to and from due to poor surrounding road access but thats not the sites fault. Clean and well presented i got a deal for the week i stayed which was great but I dont think I woululd have paid the £500 odd it should have been.
Janet
Brilliant place to chill. Great having no WiFi hence not being bothered by unnecessary phone calls and playing games on line. Total bliss. We will definitely return.
Ian
Lovely lodges on a nice little site ran by really helpful people. Far enough out for peace and quiet but only 5mins from Perranporth. Would definitely go back.

Enjoyed every minute!
