Nori's Nest at Shepherds Hut Reviews

Caitlin - Dec 2024
Amazing time away, very clean and cozy. The location was idealsecluded enough to feel like a true getaway, yet close enough to explore the beautiful beaches, charming villages, and scenic coastal walks. If you're looking for a peaceful, cozy getaway, this spot is an absolute gem. I can't wait to return!
Tom - Jul 2024
The location is superb, a short drive away from some very picturesque spots and beaches. The cabin is extremely private and in a gorgeous location, has pretty much everything you'd need. Wild rabbits running around enhances this experience immensely. However, the major downside is the bed. It's VERY small. I'm only 5'5, my partner is 5' and we're pretty slim, we found the bed to be an issue for us. The length isn't great and the width can't be much more than 4ft. If you're any taller than 5'10 then I promise you'll struggle to be comfortable. You're definitely paying for the location, I wouldn't recommend any more than a couple of nights here. Price is a bit high but that's to be expected for a UK getaway. Overall 3.5/5.
Donna - Jul 2024
Myself and my partner really enjoyed our time away in Cornwall and we loved our accommodation. The shepherd's hut is small but mighty and has everything you would need (including things like a hair dryer, BBQ equipment and games!) and more. We especially liked the hot tub, which took some time to warm up, but after a day it was good to go. For us, the location was ideal. It was remote and peaceful, but we could easily drive to all tourist areas (most being less than 30 mins away). We spent our evenings sitting outside, cooking on the BBQ and watching the bunnies that we shared the field with. Overall, I really recommend this accommodation and I will definitely consider staying here again when I come back to Cornwall!
Alison - Jul 2024
We had an amazing time away at the shepherd's hut for our honeymoon, really enjoyed the peace and the land surrounding us. Also great information pack to help you find surrounding areas for food, and activities to do whilst away. We visited Marazion beach (St Michael's mount) a lot which was also a nice and peaceful beach and area to relax. Penzance wasn't far which was great to go food shopping or for a general walk around.
Briony - Mar 2024
What a lovely time away. Woke up to a family of bunnies and lovely sunshine. The bed was marvellous and the facilities great too. The location was perfect and in the middle of everywhere!!! Cant wait to book for the summer time!!!
Hayley - Feb 2024
Me and my partner had an amazing stay. Place was spotless and had everything you need! all cutlery and kitchen supplies provided, complimentary tea and sugar, we also left some firewood and starters for the next guests. Hot tub was amazing and very clean despite being outside! fire pit was great also. Would 100% recommend and would love to visit again!
Merve - Jan 2024
We had a lovely time in the property. The area was quiet, facilities and service inside were well organized. For a small city break, it was great. Thank you for this service.
Jordan - Sep 2023
We came to stay for our Mini Honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect! Location is amazing, so quiet and peaceful and still not too far from Penzance, St.Ives and Hayle. We'll definitely be back in the future!! The only thing I'd say that the stunning little hut needs is a microwave or small oven.
Rebecca - Aug 2023
Found the location perfect, and private, very modern and tidy we both said we would definitely stay again.
Hollie - Jul 2023
The shepherd's hut was in an ideal location for exploring Cornwall although we were disappointed with the shepherd's hut itself. It was missing a few key things such as a blind in the shower room so we had to hang a towel ourselves to protect our dignity. The blind by the bed also had a hole in it? We had to buy a fan as it was too hot at night and one was not provided, it didnt feel safe enough to leave a window open. A few little extra touches would make it a luxury stay (e.g. New blinds, another mirror rather than just one in the shower room, bath mat, tea towels, fan, small toiletries, a small bottle of milk to go with the tea bags provided, shelter for the hot tub etc).
Leanne - Jul 2023
We had the best time at this quaint little shepherd's hut in a field! We went for the hot tub, privacy, location and uniqueness of it and it didn't disappoint. It was a beautiful experience of being around nature but having all of the comforts of home. Host was friendly and welcoming. A few minor things that in no way distracted from the amazing time we had but would have just pushed it to perfect. Bath towels stained, fridge door missing a side shelf which meant the milk spilled because there was nowhere for it to be upright, the BBQ was too dirty to use, bed pillows were not comfortable (personal preference), could do with a little tidy up and paint, bits of wood chipped inside and outside the property, car in driveway upon arrival so we didn't have access immediately, door is tricky to manoeuvre but once you've figured it out it's fine, nice touch with the drinks but tea and coffee and biscuits would have been nicer if they were Cornish.
Guest - Jun 2023
Lovely location and so quiet, the shepherd's hut was adequate, really comfy bed and the hot tub was a nice add on.
Morag - Jun 2023
I never go on holiday so this was a rare treat..I chose well! Having an entire field is fabulous.
Emiley - May 2023
Absolutely loved it, was so lovely and peaceful we didn't want to go home. Already enquired for a week next year.
Sonja - Apr 2023
The hut itself looked a bit tired from the outside, but as soon as we opened the door it was warm, very clean and incredibly cosy. The bathroom facilities were excellent to my surprise. The jacuzzi was perfect! The grassy area was a bit overgrown, and various pipes sticking up out of the ground. A hammock or sun loungers would have been appreciated, especially at the price we paid, but I would rate our stay 8/10.
