"We loved our stay at this cosy little lodge! Sitting in the hot tub with the waves crashing nearby was just perfect. The place had everything we needed, even if parking was a bit snug. Unfortunately, some spots were closed since it was out of season, but that didnt ruin our trip at all. Wed definitely come back!"

"Weve stayed at Cairnwood a few times now and honestly, it just keeps impressing us. The place is spacious enough and really well looked after, so it still looks fresh after nearly a decade. The views are absolutely stunning and its so close to that adorable little beach - perfect for a day out. The amenities have been thoughtfully updated, like adding a microwave and swapping out stuff to keep everything up to scratch. The staff are lovely and always helpful. Honestly, its pretty much perfect in our eyes! Well definitely come back."

"We really enjoy our yearly visits here! The staff are always friendly when we arrive, which makes us feel welcome. However, its frustrating that when we had an issue, the office was closed and there was no way to leave a message on the phone. Also, the bathroom mirror looked quite worn out, which made the place seem a bit shabby. Still, weve already booked for 2025 and cant wait to come back!"

"Lovely setting with sea views directly above the beach. Comfortable large bed in superior sea view room. Good shower and kitchen facilities. Hot tub was great and checked daily. Close to local facilities.
Improvements: WiFi patchy and TV tuning settings locked with very few channels available on free view.
Overall we loved it and will be back!"

"We had a brilliant time! It was in a perfect location with the pub basically next door. It was a very short stroll down to the closest beach and we could see the sea from the hot tub. It was approximately 1.5 miles into the centre of Ilfracombe, so that was very convenient for a more vibrant day out too. Adorable thatched roof pub on the way to Ilfracombe there too! ? some fab restaurants/takeaways nearby. Shoutout to Hele’s Kitchen who gave us a free cake!"
