Sandaway Beach Holiday Park Reviews

"Really pleased, didnt expect a dishwasher, quite handy!"
Laura Williams - Mar 2025
"Great week, would definitely recommend to others."
Emma - Mar 2025
"Had a lovely stay in a two-bedroom gold caravan. It was spotless and super comfy, perfect for a couple. The scenery was breathtaking and the park was well-kept. Well return!"
James - Mar 2025
"We stayed in a caravan that was pretty much spotless and fully equipped, which was great since it's tricky to find good ones sometimes. Being the first guests of 2025 meant everything was in tip-top shape, really impressed us!"
Emma Carter - Mar 2025
"Our Sandaway Beach Holiday Park review: Really enjoyed our visit, such a stunning spot, we can't wait to return soon!"
Ellie - Nov 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, the chalet was spotless and the views were stunning!"
Emily - Nov 2024
"The caravan was really comfy and had everything we needed. Only thing is, the bed wasnt made up when we arrived, so we had to sort out the sheets and pillowcases ourselves. Not a big deal though!"
Mark - Sep 2024
"While the caravan looked tidy on the surface, we were disappointed to find dust and dirt underneath the sofa where my husband dropped something. Also, there was a random dummy nearby, which was quite surprising. Not the cleanest experience overall."
Emma Carter - Aug 2024
"Great spot for family fun"
Alex - Aug 2024
"We stayed here recently and found the floors could have been cleaner and the bed was a little too firm for our liking. The kitchen was well-equipped and the shower was nice. Windows and mirrors could use a wipe, but overall, not too bad!"
Emma - Jul 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay"
Emma Carter - Jul 2024
"The place was really nice overall, especially the dishwasher! The only downside was the breakfast - those Richmond sausages were frozen, so we skipped it. Still, thumbs up!"
Emma Carter - Jul 2024
"The caravan was lovely overall, but the cooker was a bit frustrating. One hob ring didn't work and the grill was out of action. Still, we had a decent stay!"
Emma Carter - Jul 2024
"We stayed in a bronze caravan and honestly, we were blown away by how spotless and cosy it was. The view was stunning - watched sunsets every evening. Seven nights for a bargain price! We really didnt want to leave and cant wait to come back soon!"
Emma Clarke - Jun 2024
"The chalet was spotless and perfectly situated with stunning coastal views, all in a peaceful park. The mezzanine bed was quirky but unused and the pull-down double was super comfy."
Emma Clarke - Jun 2024
"Great space, comfy beds, good value!"
Clara - Jun 2024
"Great spot, friendly team and decent amenities all around."
Emma Carter - Jun 2024
"We absolutely loved The out! The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of the sea and Little Hanger - perfect for a refreshing walk if you're up for a bit of a challenge. Inside, its super modern and spotless, with a fully equipped kitchen. The egg chair was such a cosy touch, ideal for relaxing with a cuppa or a glass of vino. The mattress was really comfy and the blackout curtains meant a good night's sleep. Will definitely be back!"
Emma - May 2024
"Honestly, we werent impressed. The toilets at reception were extremely dirty, which was quite off-putting. Sitting outside with plastic cups for wine seemed a bit pointless when you could just walk away with breakable bottles. Its definitely more suited for parties and loud groups."
Emma - May 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay! The chalet was cosy, well-equipped and the view simply stunning. Will come back!"
Emma - Apr 2024
"We stayed in caravan 57 and loved the stunning view, even if the place felt a bit old-fashioned, probably because we brought our two dogs. The weather was perfect and theres plenty to explore nearby. Only the steps could be a bit more stable, though!"
Emma - Apr 2024
"The vans seven years old but still comfy and the views honestly stunning! The facilities are solid and the dishwasher was a nice surprise too."
Emma Clarke - Apr 2024
"Great value and super clean, really impressed!"
David - Mar 2024
"We found the place charming and welcoming, especially being dog friendly. Sadly, we couldnt use the facilities with our dog, which was a bit disappointing. The van was quite dirty-chips in the oven, sticky sweets, chocolate on furniture and the bathroom was just gross. Ended up cleaning myself rather than bothering staff. Not quite what we expected!"
Emma Carter - Mar 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay! The caravan was modern, comfy and well-equipped. Staff made everything easy."
Sam - Mar 2024
"We stayed in the caravan and honestly, it was spotless - no issues at all. The sea view was a nice touch, as expected. The beds were a bit firm, but we managed. The central heating and the electric log burner worked perfectly, keeping us cosy. And the shower? Surprisingly powerful! Overall, we had a great stay and would come back."
Emma - Mar 2024
"The caravan was really tired and needed some fixing."
Emma - Nov 2023
"We were really lucky with the sun, but the benches were all in shaded spots, so a mop and a sunny bench wouldve made it perfect! Cheers!"
Emily - Nov 2023
"We really enjoyed our stay at the Gold Caravan. Its modern and super comfy, with all the home comforts you could ask for. Cooking was easy thanks to the full-size cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher - made everything hassle-free. The view of the sea and rocky coast was stunning, perfect for relaxing evenings. The bed was a bit small for me at 6'3", but still comfy enough. Wed definitely come back!"
James - Nov 2023
"Lovely views, really peaceful and charming."
Emily Clarke - Nov 2023
"Great location, the staff very helpful, Great holiday all round ?"
Gerald - Aug 2022
"Lovely park, excellent location. Only fault i have is that the back of the sofas need to be cleaned a bit better as there was an empty crisppacket and bits of food"
Craig - Aug 2022
"A very nice holiday in a very good location. We would consider coming here again"
Lee - Jul 2022
"We didn’t use the facilities on the site but the accommodation and site location were brilliant"
Jane - Jul 2022
"Beautiful location, fab caravan exceptionally clean. Only negative comments are more seating required around pool & few more amusement machines for children. In you sister site there were far more amusements for children."
Beverley - Jul 2022
"Stunning views, clean and comfortable accommodation. The pool was warm, food and drinks on site were reasonably priced."
Zara - Jul 2022
"Perfect place for holiday. Perfect staff."
Sergejs - Jul 2022
"Would defines go again"
Verified Guest - Jul 2022
"Excellent location, good on site food at a value price. Caravan very clean with all you need . I would visit again . Thank you"
Stewart - Jul 2022
"We had a lovely holiday. Staff was great. Accommodation was really clean, new and modern. Kids loved the pool and park. The bar/restaurant are really handy and food is tasty too. Would definitely return"
Felicity - Jul 2022
"Beautiful location , caravan clean and modern and only a short walk from the beach, mermaid cove and 10 mins to Combe Martin beach and town . Obviously a lot of hills but that’s Devon . Will definitely come back to this site"
