Landal Leycroft Valley Reviews

"No full sky package as stated! Poor storage in bedroom. Bathroom very small, hot tub very old, in poor condition. Jets not powerful and water not very hot. Location lovely, bed comfy great kitchen. Not an enjoyable weekend overall"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"My second time here, like many probably the last. I'll bullet point the bad bits first.1. Couldn't get in the door, Locksmith called but door is ultimately broken2. Loud hot tub. Very loud. So had to turn it off every night to get some sleep.3. Hot tub temperature kept resetting itself during the day to maximum so couldn't really enjoy it as it was far too hot.4. Broken bathroom window.5. Broken shower pole.6. Decking rotting.7. Slow oven over 15min to reach temperature. I timed it. Not good for self catering. All the marking have rubbed off to. 8. Extractor Fan in bathroom doesnt work. The good bits.1. Location is amazing!2. Jo (staff) was very friendly and tried to rectify the door issue. Ultimately though a new door is needed."
Ryan - Nov 2023
"Lodge was good, everything you need for a relaxing break."
Linda - Nov 2023
"A short break here and much appreciated."
Julie - Nov 2023
"We booked this last minute as a mini 'honeymoon'. We stayed in lodge 22 and after reading some of the reviews we were pleasantly surprised. The lodge was clean and in great condition. The facilities inside the lodge had everything that was needed and all instructions for microwave/oven/dishwasher etc. The hot tub was lovely and worked perfectly. Our only feedback for improvements would be new pillows for the bed as they are extremely flat (we just popped rolled up towels underneath which worked) and the grounds could really do with some TLC it is very overgrown. The WiFi is very hit and miss we got a good signal in the hot tub/on the balcony but nothing inside the lodge itself. The road leading to the site is also extremely narrow (one car wide) so be prepared to reverse if needed but this obviously isn't the sites fault. We are already planning on booking another stay next year."
Jack - Nov 2023
"Was OK, close to a lot of attractions, but our room had mould in the courtain."
Adrian - Nov 2023
"We have been coming to this sight for many years and have seen it developed .The position of this sight in Cornwall is one of the best ,positioned down a small lane not far from all the lovely beaches and Perranporth itself. The lodges are tucked away with lots of trees surrounding them and very peaceful. The lodge interior was comfortable and clean and all you need while you are on holiday. We stopped for two weeks and we asked if we could have fresh towels for the second week which they provided also changing our bed sheets at the same time."
Paul - Jul 2022
"Beautiful location and just perfect so our Labrador. Really close to local town and the the most beautiful beaches and views."
Louise - Jul 2022
"Great value for money, fabulous location, would definitely recommend"
Karen - Jul 2022
"I booked the days but wanted to reduce to two. Was told three was minimum and if wanted to cancel would only get 10% back. That was only one day after booking. Outrageous!!"
Julia - Jul 2022
"Absolutely brilliant place to stay super chilled handy for the beach an nice an quiet with like minded other friendly families already looking to book again for next year"
Ian - Jul 2022
"Lovely lodge with hot tub, well situated for lots of different visits. Very clean and comfortable within a good distance for loads of attractions. Initially the road to arrive is a bit of a scary drive as it is very narrow. You soon get used to it and all drivers are very considerate as these narrow roads often lead you to the most interesting places."
Array - Jul 2022
"We loved our stay at Leycroft Valley. Our cabin was exceptionally clean and well presented. The surrounding area is stunning and extremely peaceful. We had a lovely break and would highly recommend the place. Our cabin was one of the highest up in the woods so the views were incredible. We enjoyed several walks around the area. I would say the only downside was our cabin came with a dishwasher and not a washing machine which would have been preferable."
Tracey - Aug 2020
"Lodge was amazing lots of space bed comfortable. Would defo book again"
Kelly - Aug 2020
"Very beautiful place .. it was clean but the cleaning could be ramped up .. handles and hot tub could do with a steam clean"
Julie - Aug 2020
"Lovely lodge. Maybe sofa / garden cushion needs to be updated looking tired & not so comfy. Mattress also needs to be changed. Otherwise Could not fault our stay lovely."

Deborah - Nov 2019
"The Cabin was great, exactly as described on the website, the WiFi isnt great and signal in the park is poor but thats to be expected in a valley, the tv works just fine with freeview channels and all the appliances in the kitchen worked just fine. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well on it."
Claire - Nov 2019
"Brilliant place will keep coming back."
Christine - Nov 2019
"Very peaceful, relaxing valley with beautiful surroundings of trees and a little lake. Hot tub was really nice and had some massages too! :). Definitely better what we expected as most of the time, pictures lie. However, Leycroft did not lie! The place and everything was perfect. Our little lodge had everything we needed so we felt very at home. Didnt expect to have Sky TV so we were able to watch proper TV in the evenings :). Very clean and you can see its well looked after by lovely staff who are kind. Very quiet so if you are looking to relax, come to Leycroft!"
