"We had such a lovely stay! The owners are genuinely warm and very helpful-nothing was too much trouble. The cottage itself is adorable, with its charming half-timbered style and the shower was surprisingly powerful. We loved the cosy kitchen and comfy bed, plus parking right next to the place made everything so easy. Its spotlessly clean, well heated and perfect for exploring the nearby fields and Thaxted. Definitely recommend!"

"We had a really comfy lounge and the beds were lovely. The central heating kept us warm and there was plenty of hot water, which was great. The only downside was the gas hob wasnt working when we arrived. We called the number and someone came out quickly. They said it was faulty, which we already knew, so it was a bit odd to be put in a unit without a working hob. Apart from that, everything was spot on!"

"We stayed at number 20 Gwel Teg, which was at the very end of the row and quite peaceful. The spacing between the homes is good, so it doesnt feel crowded. A bit of a pain though that theres no sign for the new Gwel Teg area and without numbers on the accommodations, its tricky to find your place after a long trip. No staff check-in either, so its all self-serve. The place itself was pretty new and lovely, but we did notice some loose taps, a wobbly toilet seat and a stiff en-suite door that could use a bit of fixing. On the plus side, the partial sea view was really lovely and made up for the little issues!"

The place has everything you need for a relaxing break. The location is perfect for exploring Essex and nearby villages like Thaxted - definitely worth wandering around to soak up the history and charm. Highly recommend!"

"The most perfect spot in our favourite place. The holiday park is lovely and quiet, with things to do if you want to. The whole site is spotlessly clean with great sea views.
We stayed in 22 Atlantic View and we could not have asked for more.
The location was perfect for us, as the whole family loves the beach at Praa Sands. We visited many places, enjoyed our family swims in the pool and watched the Lionesses beat Sweden in the Boathouse.

Shop was a little pricey and didn't stock alot but ok for convenience

Only one parking space available for each van.
Was only a short holiday we also had fantastic weather so didn't get to use facilities
Little pricey for 2 people
But first holiday for 3 years so paid it as we needed a holiday ..."
