Outstanding holiday can't fault the staff hot tub is lovely is a little bit confusing to use if you're not used to having one inside the cabin is beautifully furnished one thing that could be improved upon is signing towards local dog walks for people who don't know the area

This park is in a perfect location. Woodhall spa town is a couple of mins away with all you need. The lodge suited us perfectly. The hot tub was checked every day and was the best we have had. Unfortunately we were put in number 7 and not 3...so didn't get the lake view.
Linda, Romford

Sharon, East Lothian
Date of stay: 1st December 2017
The lodge was spotlessly clean and well prepared.

We could have done with a bit more cutlery and crockery as just 6 of everything was a bit tight.

We had very noisy neighbours for the first few nights and they were out on their balcony at all hours. Fortunately the lodge was so well insulated that you couldnt hear them inside!
Adrian, Staffordshire
Date of stay: 24th November 2017

Date of stay: 27th October 2017
The lodge and surroundings are great. The lodge clean and modern and well kept. The only drawn back is the limited WiFi. In this day and age to only get 1 hour and then you have to pay is very poor. People want to be connected and this lets the facilities down. Just allow WiFi to all. No one on holiday is going to be using it 24/7 and downloading huge amounts of data.
Laura, Dudley
Date of stay: 20th October 2017
Fabulous lodge. Has every facility you would need and is very modern and clean. Beds were comfy. Love the added touch of the board games, and of course the hot tub was our favourite part.

Wonderfully welcoming staff, immaculately clean, very well furnished and had just about everything you could need. Loved woodhall spa and the quiet location of the site. Will definitely be back and have recommended to friends.

Husband loved the fishing and managed to fit it in every day. Loved the fact that it was a short walk into woodhall spa with all the shops we needed, loved Kinema in the Woods and loved Jubilee park and the heated pool.

Kerry, Suffolk
Date of stay: 1st September 2017
We've been on a few log cabin holidays all over Britain and this was by far the best for quality. The inside of the cabin was spotless and beautiful. Scenery was amazing, my boys loved being able to fish so close to the cabin
Date of stay: 21st August 2017
The welcome was really friendly, and site spotless. Once in our lodge a member of staff showed us round the hot tub and the essentials in the lodge within minutes.

The lodge (Lakeside View 3) was amazing, so clean and spacious. Loads of room for 6, and well stocked kitchen.

Hot tub amazing, addictive, the best I`ve ever used.

Location ideal, really peaceful, plenty of parking space and a good 40 metres between lodges. Easy access to Woodhall Spa which is a lovely place without any overpriced chains (Costa...the scourge of modern society.)

Only downside, there are no basic facilities to speak off. Could do with a small place to have a drink and play a few games.
Irene, Warwickshire

Date of stay: 31st July 2017
We couldn't fault this holiday lodge and park at all. All 9 of us where extremely happy and satisfied with the site. Great lodges, we hired 2, next door to each other. Hot tubs where spot on! Fishing was fantastic, everyone caught. Staff were so friendly and happy to help. Pet friendly, my Akita loved the walks around the park. Local area was great, within walking distance and had everything you need.... Chinese, pizza, fish & chips and convenience store. We travelled to Horncastle for Tescos (approx 20-25min drive).
Vikki, Huddersfield

Date of stay: 10th July 2017
The only thing I would say would make it even better would be extra chairs to sit outside, and in the sun instead of just the decking area .
We took our own fold away chairs this year as was awear of this from our last stay.
This hasn't put us off and will be defiantly be booking again for next year.
Shirley, Peterborough

Liz And Martin, Surrey
Date of stay: 5th May 2017
Early Season mid week break. Accommodation, facilities and park staff all to a very good standard. Main selling point of this lodge in the "Wanderwood" range of lodges was the sheltered decking over the hot tub, giving shelter from inclement weather. The lake and parkland is still maturing which will provide additional windbreaks in the future.

The Woodhall Spa area is noted for its beautiful countryside views and walks; mineral springs; "Kinema in the Woods"; and its Second World War association with the RAF 617 Squadron.
Date of stay: 28th April 2017

Date of stay: 24th February 2017
We booked the lodge for our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were super helpful, the location is beautiful and the accommodation was fabulous. We just wished the outside seating was more comfortable as we would have spent hours sat reading looking over the lake but that's a very small gripe as everything else was splendid. The gowns were a lovely touch especially as we made full use of the amazing hot tub and it was a nice surprise to find fresh milk already on the fridge to make a cuppa on arrival. We bought some food for the ducks and geese at the local pet shop and loved their morning visits. We would highly recommend the tea room in the woods which is just a short drive away and provided us with the best afternoon tea we'd ever had! There are some lovely shops in the village and a good variety of restaurants, cafes and take aways.
Kirsten, Derbyshire
Date of stay: 17th February 2017
Family of 6 with 2 primary aged children and grandparents. We all thoroughly enjoyed the lodge which was beautiful and very clean. Particularly impressed with the comfortable beds and milk in the fridge was a welcoming addition. Hot tub was the icing on the cake! Great place to explore the surrounding area from, though a car is needed when going further afield. Easy walk into Woodhall Spa. Very friendly staff. Have already booked again.
Nick, Tewkesbury
Date of stay: 17th February 2017
Lovely and well equipped lodge. I have zero complaints.
I would suggest some privacy screening between the lodges, but again this would be a plus on a great park.

Date of stay: 3rd February 2017
lovely view of the lakes , geese quite noisy in the mornings . Had some lovely sun sets and even a sunrise whilst sitting in the hot tub. Plenty of facilities and all clean. Milk on arrival along with tea bags and coffee was a lovely touch on arrival. Dressing gowns so soft in master bedroom. Would come again

The lodge was perfect for a getaway holiday. It was well equipped, warm, comfy and the hot tub was great. My only criticism is the water-logged area on which you park your car. Other than that it was a fantastic space to spend a few days relaxing.
Kelvin, Mansfield

Date of stay: 15th July 2016
From the moment we walked into reception on arrival, to the day we left the park on our departure, we were treated with nothing but friendliness and made to feel most welcome by all staff. The lodges with their hot tubs are amazing, the fishing was good and the site immaculate (most worthy of its 5 star rating). Will definitely be looking to return in the not too distant future as we had a lovely relaxing break.
Paula, Seaham
Date of stay: 15th July 2016
Beautiful new lodge (no 3), well presented, and very clean. The site is peaceful and quiet, just what is needed to re-charge the batteries. The lodge overlooks the lake with lots of wildlife to see. The Hot tub is well maintained on a daily basis, and just what you need after a busy day out. The staff on site are very friendly and helpful, and could not do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Great base to explore surrounding area, and beautiful countryside. Would book to go here again, as a great time was had by all of us.
Date of stay: 27th May 2016
Fantastic Lodge, in a peaceful location can't wait to return
The lodges are nice and spacious and clean. The hot tubs are lovely and are a very good size. We had a nice relaxing break. The only moan is the WiFi an hour a day was a bit of a pain as couldn’t get any phone signal in the lodge. But had a lovely break and would stay again.
Very quiet site which was in such a lovely area within easy walking distance to local town which had beautiful shops, restaurants, takeaways, tearooms, cinema, and supermarket. Staff at reception were very pleasant and made us feel very welcome. Lodge number 6 was amazing by far the best position of them all, immaculate, very well stocked and the hot tub was huge!!! Lots of lovely walks, saw barn owl, oyster catches, kingfishers, deer and the geese were friendly with a little bribe of bread!
Lovely staff, spotlessly clean lodge and well spec'd. Well recommend this place. Thank you.
Had a brilliant stay, lodge perfect, hot tub even more so !! Staff very customer focused so a massive thumbs up. Will definitely return
Booked 3 lodges for my 50th lodges clean everything you need provided everyone loved it and hot tub great will be back for 4th time soon
Really recommend. Very clean and nice place. Hot Tub is amazing, you can use any time you like. Thanks
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Woodhall again, lovely lodge with great facilities, and a view of the wild life too! Even though the weather was not great it didn’t spoil our time.
Fantastic Lodge, great hot tub and very warm at 41.5 degrees, very clean and good facilities in the lodge. Not much to do on site itself but suited us; we are not big on club house caravan parks ourselves. Fishing apparently is quite decent. Cycle hire available but very poor wether the week we stayed. Visited Tattershall Lakes and did the aqua park assault course - good fun but wet suit hire a must early April. Saw the Lancaster at Conningsby (worth a visit) and had a day out in Lincoln which is a great city. Would deffo go back for a relaxing break. Woodhall Spa town is worth a walk into for a coffee in one of the many options. Staff left a bed and bowl for our dog Louis and gave him a toy to keep - nice touch that.
Lovely clean spacious wooden lodges. Hot tub was amazing! Quiet surrounding and local town is beautiful. Kinema is a must do. Children loved it
Lovely lodge, very clean and well-equipped. Great view of the lake. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots to do in the area and nice village close by.
Staff were exceptional and lodge was was absolutely ideal.
Beautiful lodge one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. I was a little bit disappointed it wasn’t lakeside as I thought and it was advertised but I’d didnt ruin our trip as the lodge was lovely. With a dog the enclosed deck was great!
Superb location, so quiet and peaceful. Fantastic lodge with everything you could need. Hot tob was a wonderful luxury. A gem for those who want to get away and fully relax.
All the staff were lovely and nothing was to much trouble
Amazing weekend!!! Lodge was beautiful and our sons guide dogs had beds, bowls and treats set up for them. Lovely little touch for them!! Hot tub was super clean and treated everyday. Will be going again in the summer. Thankyou

Fun Days Out near Woodhall Country Park Lodges

about 19 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
about 23 Miles
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.

Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
about 27 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
about 37 Miles
Normanby Hall Country Park has a fantastically tranquil location Set in the 300 acres of Normanby Hall estate offering a relaxing choice for a family day out. The stunning grounds are abundant with wildlife as well as beautiful flora and fauna and there is no better place for a summer picnic. There is also plenty of open space for children to run around. The Deer park is sure to be a big hit with the children with herds of fallow deer to spot.
