These impressive lodges are ideal for those seeking something extra special. The luxurious lodges and cottages are beautifully set in the grounds of the historic Gisburn Estate and come very highly recommended.  The area around the site is one of great natural beauty with the stunning Ribble Valley (the inspiration for Tolkien's Lord of the Rings) right on the doorstep.  The Yorkshire Dales are also within easy reach offering numerous outdoor pursuits.

Each lodge has been designed to meet the needs of the most discerning guest and manage to seamlessly blend contemporary design with rural charm and comfort.  Enjoy your own private decking area with a sumptuous outdoor hot tub or take advantage of the on site massage therapist to really unwind. A range of traditional beauty treatments are available along with some more holistic alternatives.  Fantastic semi detached cottages with their own gardens and private hot tubs offer another option for accommodation.

Nearby Pendle Hill offers a challenge to keen walkers who can reward themselves afterwards at the famous Assheton Arms in Downham village (the setting of the BBC's Born and Breed drama).  Just a ten minute walk through the Estate from your lodge, you'll discover the stunning market village of Gisburn with a delightful pub, award winning Italian restaurant and quaint shops selling local organic produce gifts and crafts. The Lancashire coastline and numerous market towns are also within reach.

There are four types of lodge to choose from. The Milan Lodge offers superb luxury and a large open plan living area along with two bedrooms. The Moray Lodge is perfect for two couples and has 2 double bedrooms as well as a private outdoor hot tub. The Balmoral Lodge is larger and has three bedrooms and a large living area as well as a patio.

If you are thinking of going to Ribblesdale then go for it! We had a amazing weekend. The hot tub was just heaven and our cottage beautiful.

Lovely log cabin. A layout I've never had before but worked really well. Each log cabin was angled to maximise privacy.
If I had to criticise it would be that the hot tub was slightly dated.

My only feedback would be that it couldve done with an electric kettle instead of the hob kettle, took far too long to make the morning coffee and given that we wanted to be up and out this was a bit of a hinderance and some hooks outside to hang robes while we were in the hot tub wouldve been useful. Other than that everything was great.

Had a wonderful 4 nights here , lodge was beautiful, and loved the hot tub .. also used the outside pool which was an unexpected bonus .. lovely food in the bistro too .. highly recommend this place .
Lynsey
Lodge was lovely secluded garden with hot tub, clean and well equipped. Both rooms on suite which I hadn’t expected so great surprise. Children loved the outdoor pool and park. Only downside was gaps in fence in garden so the dog escaped a couple of times.
Nicola
Stayed for a long weekend as a couple. Thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of the park. Well equipped accommodation with everything we needed. Hot tub brilliant!
Darren

Steve
Great weekend break for just myself and wife and we stayed in a Wentworth Lodge . We went for a bit of relaxation and to try a Hot Tub brake and we really enjoyed it a nice walk during the day and a few drinks in the evening and a nice relaxing time in the Hot Tub . We had lunch in the on site restaurant which we enjoyed and all the staff we met were helpful and courteous and yes this will not be our last visit to Ribblesdale Lodges.
Maureen
We had a wonderful time. Surroundings and views were fantastic. Cabin clean and comfortable. Only complaint the signal on the free view was poor also the DVD in the living area wasn’t connected small problems as the overall experience was great and we will return
Scott
