Inside you'll find an open-plan living space with reclining leather sofas and a gas fire. The smart kitchen has ample prep space. Two bedrooms await - a double with en-suite shower and a twin room. There's also a family bathroom. The lodge is also pet-friendly and welcomes up to two well-behaved dogs.

Located in the Milnthorpe area of Cumbria we love this local attraction. With an eclectic mix of fascinating wildlife and hands on displays this centre is educational as well as fun. You can wander around at leisure admiring the exhibits which range from chameleons to computers. Some of the most threatened species are kept at the park as part if international breeding programmes. Look out for seasonal events such as Halloween Zoo Boo (free entry for kids in fancy dress) and The Magic of Christmas.
