A wonderful stay with friendly hosts and cosy vibe.
Harriet - Jul 2024
We had a lovely stay at this cosy little cottage tucked away on a farm just outside Thaxted. It was perfect for our 16-day trip, serving as a comfy base while catching up with family nearby. The place is spacious enough for two, with loads of kitchen stuff like pots and pans. The hosts are very friendlyand their dog always welcomes us back. Gorgeous countryside to explore, plus a Tesco and Aldi just about 10 minutes away. Really enjoyed it!

The barn was full of charm, with exposed beams and historic timber details that added loads of character. We loved how cosy it felt, especially with the underfloor heating-that was a real treat! The patio was perfect for relaxingand the hot tub was just what we needed after a long dog walk. Plenty of grassy areas around for the pupsand perfect footpaths into Thaxted or through the fields. Sharon and Rob were lovely hosts, we’d definitely recommend it.
