About Wilson House Holiday Park

Get away from it all at Wilson House Holiday Park, an adult only park with gorgeous lodges and a stunning setting.

The lodges have all been designed with luxury in mind, combining contemporary interiors with fantastic outdoor decking spaces.

The lodges have been positioned so each lodge enjoys privacy and you can relax and take in the views from your private bubbling hot tub.

Part of the Bouja Luxury Boutique Breaks collection, you can be assured of an extra special holiday with all the finishing touches you would expect from a luxury break.

On the park itself there is a licensed guest lounge so you don't have to venture out to enjoy a drink.  Nature lovers will love the wildlife on the park too!

The surroundings are pretty perfect too with a countryside setting and close to many beautiful areas from the Lancashire Coast to the Lake District.

We love the Ovation Lodge which sleeps 4 and has a gorgeous interior with great views.  Doors lead from the open plan lounge to the outdoor decking area with quality garden furniture to make the most of the outdoors.  Relax, read a book and enjoy your holiday your way!

The Ambleside Holiday Home is another lovely choice and is slightly larger, sleeping 6.  The outdoor hot tub and immaculate interior make this a fantastic base for your holiday.

There are plenty of attractions close by if you like to get out and explore.  The Model Village & Gardens in Blackpool are worth a visit as is Lancaster Castle around 12 miles from the holiday homes.

Wilson House Holiday Park Reviews

"Lodge was in excellent condition and spotless. The Hot tub was well screened and private. The towels provided for the hot tubs are large and luxurious. In fact we ended up ordering some online for our home.
Lodges are all facing inwards to each other so not very private when sat out on the decking.
The BBQ was a nice touch and we enjoyed cooking lovely burgers.
We felt secure on the site as there is a barrier on entry/exit which has number plate recognition. Overall a great place to stay for some peace and quiet."
David - Aug 2020
"Excellent lodge. Clean well equipped. Would have liked a second shower in the master bedroom. Apart from that it was great."

"Great time had by us all."
Sandra - Nov 2019
"Ideal mid week break."
Nick - Nov 2019
"Cannot fault the lodge. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Only 2 things let it down. Length of the bed. My husband is 6ft 1in and his feet hung over the bottom. Hot tub fantastic but only thing that let it down was not sheltered enough from the elements. Ideally could have been 3 sided and covered as quite draughty with an open top. Otherwise no complaints , would go there again and would highly recommend."
Karen - Nov 2019
"Absolutely fantastic break for me and my wife. Great clean well appointed lodge an hot tub with basic but important amenities provided too. Cant recommend highly enough."
William - Oct 2019

Eileen - Jul 2019
"We book a last min break , and wanted a quiet weekend away from the kids etc and thats what we got . Lodge was immaculate, highest level of cleanliness, very modern and had everything you could need. The weather gave rain but that didnt effect the weekend, the hot tub was perfect way to end the days.
We didnt take our dog but now I have been to site I would return with him , Im always unsure in dog friendly places as they usually not the cleanest (from past experience) but these lodges are secure and spotless . Highly Recommend this site for a more luxury lodge / caravan site"
Carron - Jul 2019
"Could have done with a bigger bedroom with a King Sized bed. Only a foot of space between bed and wall, somewhat claustrophobic. The rest of the lodge was perfect."
Beanzmum - Jul 2019
"Will definitely go back in the future"
Lynn - Jun 2019
"lovely clean lodge and hot tub. surrounding area lovely. all aspects of holiday enjoyed"

During the summer months and especially during school holidays live music can often be enjoyed.
Bowland Wild Boar Park - PR3 2QT

Head for the Bowland Wild Boar park and we don't think you will be disappointed.  A popular attraction in Preston there is so much to do for the whole family.  From picnics, walks and wildlife to experiencing feeding the animals you are sure to have a memorable day out.  Also popular is the kids tractor play area.  For rest and relaxation the cafe is ideal serving hot drinks and snacks with a lovely view over the pond and wildlife feeding station.  The Forest of Bowland has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Lakeland Wildlife Oasis - LA6 1JH
about 22 Miles
Located in the Milnthorpe area of Cumbria we love this local attraction.  With an eclectic mix of fascinating wildlife and hands on displays this centre is educational as well as fun.  You can wander around at leisure admiring the exhibits which range from chameleons to computers. Some of the most threatened species are kept at the park as part if international breeding programmes.  Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs which are great value for money.  There are discounts for pre-booked parties of 12 or more.
South Lakes Safari Zoo - LA12 0LU
about 23 Miles

This is an amazing Cumbria attraction well known locally as well as nationally for how close you can get to the animals.  Described as the most interactive animal park in Europe it's well worth a visit if you are staying in the area.  Open from April to end October some of the highlights are the tigers, penguins, bears, hippos and rhinos.  At 2pm during certain seasons it's feeding time so don't forget to plan your day around this so you can watch the animals enjoying their feed.  Look out for seasonal events such as Halloween Zoo Boo (free entry for kids in fancy dress) and The Magic of Christmas.

Gulliver's World Theme Park - WA5 9YZ
about 34 Miles
This is a very popular theme park with three different locations.  The theme park in Warrington contains not only the theme park but also Gullivers Splash Zone and Gullivers Star Studios.  The Solash Zone is a fully heated indoor water play factory fun for all ages which will appeal on rainy days.  Throughout the year there are seasonal events too such as the Halloween and Fireworks event taking place from 23rd to 31st October.  You can book online to save time and secure your tickets during busy periods.  Over 50% of the rides are actually under cover so you don't need to worry about the British weather spoiling the fun.
Rydal Mount & Gardens - LA22 9LU
about 39 Miles
Rydal Mount & Gardens are wonderfully situated between Lake Windermere and Rydal Water offering breathtaking scenery. The home of William Wordsworth from 1813 - 1850 the grand home is now lived in by the poets descendents but parts of the house and grounds are open to the public. Why not take a guided tour and see the rooms where many of the famous poems were written. The gardens are beautiful at all times of the year but in the summer offer a spectacular display of colour. There is also a gallery and a tearoom. Discounts are available for group bookings.
