Arran Hills Reviews

"Really enjoyed the walk, the fields were beautiful and having the dogs there was a bonus! Great day!"
Ella - Apr 2025
"It was pretty standard, but honestly, the weather was lovely so we didnt hang around much. The hot tub was a real plus! No outdoor seating, so we grabbed a couple of chairs from a nearby supermarket - they worked fine, no fuss at all."
Emma - Mar 2025
"We've been here twice now and absolutely love it. Already planning to return this year. Told our friends about it too-they're heading in February, can't wait!"
Alex - Jan 2025
"We loved the peaceful stay, perfect for dogs with the fully enclosed garden, truly relaxing!"
Harriet - Nov 2024
"Our Arran Hills review: We really enjoyed our stay at Ballard Pod 4. The space was perfect for four of us and the hot tub was a lovely touch. Itd be great if there were a dustpan and brush, plus some hooks for coats and towels. Still, we had a lovely time!"
Emily Carter - Oct 2024
"We didn't get the original room we booked because of a last-minute change, but honestly, if it was an upgrade, we're pretty happy it happened. Made the trip a bit more special!"
James - Oct 2024
"We had a really lovely stay at this place! The setting is super private and peaceful, nestled in a beautiful spot. The owners were genuinely friendly and always happy to help if we needed anything, but kept a good distance so we felt totally relaxed. The hot tub was a real highlight after long bike rides-such a treat! One thing to note, though, is the noise from Stansteds flight path; its quite loud at times. We got used to it quickly and it didnt ruin our trip, but its worth mentioning if youre sensitive to aircraft sounds."
Raj Patel - Sep 2024
"We had a fantastic weekend here, definitely recommend this place. Perfect for a peaceful anniversary escape!"
Sarah - May 2024
"We really loved the place - super quiet, perfect for relaxing and our dog loved the enclosed garden!"
Harper - Apr 2024
"We had such a lovely stay! The owners were genuinely warm and helpful, making us feel right at home. The cottage itself is adorable, with its charming half-timbered look and a really strong shower thats perfect after a day of exploring. The cosy kitchen and comfy bed made everything even better. Parking right next to the cottage was a real bonus and the place was spotless and well heated. Great walks nearby too-definitely recommend it!"
Oliver - Feb 2024
"We had such a lovely stay! The cottage was super cosy, especially with the log burner and the hot tub was a real treat. Hosts were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. Its so peaceful there, perfect for unwinding. Cant wait to come back for a longer visit soon!"
Charlotte - Nov 2023
"We had such a lovely stay at this cosy place nestled in a really peaceful, private spot. The owners were super friendly and always ready to help if needed, but the location still kept that lovely sense of seclusion. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day of cycling! One thing to keep in mind: its right under Stansteds flight path, so aircraft noise is quite noticeable. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but honestly, it didnt ruin our holiday at all. Would definitely recommend!"
Rajiv - Nov 2023
"The setting was absolutely charming and exploring the fields with our dogs was just perfect. Loved it!"
Ellie - Nov 2023
"We had an amazing time celebrating our 40th birthday here! The staff made us feel so welcome and the atmosphere was super relaxing. They checked the hot tub daily and whenever we needed anything, they were really helpful. Highly recommend this place!"
Daniel - Nov 2023
"Absolutely loved our time at Goddards Mead. The cottage was perfect in every aspect. Cant wait to return soon! Well be back for sure."
Lisa - Jul 2023
"We had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage. The log burner and hot tub made it extra special. Hosts were lovely, very welcoming. Cant wait to come back!"
Lucy - Jun 2023
"Out lodge was spotless & staff friendly & helpful"
Gillian - Jul 2022
"Excellent lodge and loved how quiet the area was. My only advice is to take your own outdoor chairs. Unlike the photos there is no place to sit outside and the dining chairs were not comfy."
Louise - Jul 2022
"Couldn't recommend a stay here more. Quiet apart from my children and they had a ball, they loved the hot tub. They played in our little bit of garden and we were completely left alone. Staff were very helpful and always at hand when needed. Cabin was modern clean and a peaceful private good value break. Definitely recommend and definitely go back. 10 out of 10 from this family."
Marianna - Jul 2022
"Nice relaxing break. Perfect location hidden away and nice to come back to when we've been out round Scotland to Glasgow and Edinburgh"
Anthony - Jun 2022
"Absaloutly amazing thank you we will be back"
Pauline - Jun 2022
"Fantastic 4 days away . It's says pod but I would call it a micro lodge , the pictures are spot on with what you get . It has only just opened so all is brand new and a couple of lodges were just being finished. Hot tub was excellent and for short break had plenty of room . Good oven and full size fridge freezer and bathroom bigger than static caravan . Had a great time on the beaches nearby plenty to go to and lots of superstores . Thank you very much Arran hills hope to see you again"
Shaun - Jun 2022
"Had an excellent stay. Lodge was very clean and well equipped. Highly recommend."
Gemma - Jun 2022
