Bennane Shore Holiday Park Reviews

"Really enjoyed browsing, lovely spot too"
Alex - May 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay in the lodge-beautiful and surprisingly roomy, with everything we needed. The only odd thing was when we asked for fresh towels after using the pool and they told us to wash ours in the laundry. Not what you'd expect from a place claiming to be 5-star, honestly."
Claire - Nov 2023
"We stayed at this lodge recently and honestly, we loved it. The place was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfy stay. The pool area was a real highlight, perfect for relaxing after a day out. We didnt bother with the restaurant, so cant say much about that. The only real issue was the TV reception - it kept cutting out, which was a bit frustrating. We had someone check it, but they couldnt fix it and no one else came to sort it out. Still, overall, a lovely place!"
Emma - May 2022
"We had a lovely weekend here. The caravan was just what we expected and having that outdoor verandah was perfect for our dog. The site was kept really tidy and checking in was straightforward. We did get a bit caught out by the beach description - its rocky, not sandy like it said. Luckily, with a car, we found a proper sandy beach nearby in Girvan. The only thing was the traffic noise from the road, but overall, it was a really enjoyable stay!"

Emma - Apr 2022
"We stayed at Ailsa1 Lodge in early March and honestly, we couldnt find a single fault. The place was spotless and super cosy, even with the outside chill. The views from the lounge were stunning - looking out over the sea was a real treat. The lodge was really well equipped, with plenty of storage in the bedrooms and two powerful showers that made quick work of morning routines. The heating kept everything warm and comfy, which was a relief given the weather. We loved the composite decking - perfect for sitting outside when its warmer. Parking was straightforward too, with space for one car right beside the lodge. Well definitely be booking again, its just a lovely spot!"
Alex - Mar 2022
"The staff were super friendly and really helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless and the food was pretty good too. Wed definitely return!"

Martin - Jan 1970
"We really enjoyed our stay here. The setting is absolutely gorgeous and the caravan was lovely inside. The spa with its sea view was such a treat and everyone we met was so friendly. The only downsides were the bistro food which didnt quite hit the mark and the early morning noise from trucks on the main road. Still, it was a relaxing break overall and wed definitely recommend it to others!"

"Pool, spa facilities and views were fantastic. Didn’t try restaurant but had a takeaway. Very nice. Wonderfully peaceful place, though road was a little noisy. Generally though, only heard the sea. Would definitely go again."

Paul - Jun 2022
"We had a wonderful stay at Bennane Shore Holiday Park. The location is absolutely amazing with stunning views along the coast and breathtaking sunsets. And, with binoculars, we could see seals every night from the decking of our lodge! The lodge itself - Kintyre - was great. The living area and kitchen was like a proper home from home and the bedrooms were comfortable and spacious too. We could happily have stayed longer than the week we had booked and will definitely visit again. Our daughters (aged 10) loved seal spotting, playing on the private beach and playground and scootering up and down the Park. And it is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area which has some brilliant family days out. The food at the Bistro was freshly cooked and delicious and the staff were all professional, friendly and helpful. We didn't use the spa facilities - other than the steam room - but enjoyed using the pool every day with our children and everything was spotless. We would definitely recommend this holiday park are already planning our next visit!"
Donna - Jun 2022
