Castle Brake Holiday Park Reviews

"We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage. The hot tub and log burner made it extra special. Hosts were really welcoming too!"
Charlotte - Apr 2025
"The place is really well looked after and the location is quite peaceful. Staff were friendly and helpful, but the WiFi was frustratingly slow and patchy at times. Still, we enjoyed our stay!"
James - Mar 2025
"We had a great stay here! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The sites really well looked after, clean and comfy. On-site laundry, bar, shop and restaurant are handy. Highly recommend!"
Daniel - Feb 2025
"We had a fantastic time at this clean, peaceful park nestled in beautiful scenery. Perfect for relaxing and exploring the lovely Devon area. Highly recommend!"
George - Jan 2025
"Our Castle Brake Holiday Park review: We had a really lovely stay at this cottage. Its perfectly tucked away enough for peace and quiet but still near local shops and cafes. The hot tub was a highlight and the underfloor heating kept us super cosy. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel so welcome too! Cant wait to return!"
David - Oct 2024
"Absolutely loved it, definitely our favourite caravan so far!"
Emma Carter - Sep 2024
"Really pleased with the caravan! Perfect size for just the two of us. Beds were comfy and we loved the outdoor setup. Great stay!"
Alex Carter - Jul 2024
"We stayed in this mobile home recently and honestly, it was fantastic. The lounge furniture was super comfy and having a full-sized fridge freezer, oven and dishwasher made everything so easy. The king-size bed was really cosy too. It was spotless and totally worth the price!"
Emily Carter - Jun 2024
"We really enjoyed our visit. The fields were perfect for a peaceful walk with our dogs. Nice place!"
Lauren - May 2024
"We had a lovely stay at this peaceful spot, tucked away in a private setting. The owners are genuinely friendly and made us feel welcome without intruding, which was great. The hot tub was a real highlight, especially after a long day on our bikes. A little heads up, the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but if youre sensitive to noise, its worth knowing. Overall, a charming place with friendly hosts!"
Raj - Mar 2024
"We stayed at this place and honestly, its a gem. The house is super well equipped and on a cold, rainy day, it was so cosy and warm-just what we needed. The bath was perfect for relaxing and the shower was big enough for all the fuss. The locations quiet, perfect if your dog hates fireworks and we werent disturbed by the planes at all. Thanks a lot!"
Harriet - Feb 2024
"We really enjoyed our visit; the fields were beautiful and walking the dogs was such a treat."
Alexandra - Jan 2024
"We had an amazing time! The hosts were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The place was spot on, everything you could need was thought of. Cant wait to come back for another stay!"
Jenna - Dec 2023
"We found the caravan really comfy and well-equipped, which was great. Woodbury Castle was close by and Woodbury Common was perfect for our little dog. We also enjoyed trips to Topsham, Exeter, Exmouth and that show at Crealy. Nice little break!"
Samuel Carter - Nov 2023
"The place was spotless and well-kept, which we really appreciated. Everything met our expectations, though we did notice there were no soaps in the bathroom-it's a minor thing but worth mentioning. Overall, were happy and would suggest it to friends and family. Cheers!"
Rajesh Kumar - Oct 2023
"Even though it was quite late in the season, we still had a lovely time and took our puppy along. Definitely recommend!"
Julia - Aug 2023
"We recently stayed in this caravan and honestly, its pretty comfortable and spacious. There are some nice touches that you dont see every day, like the cooker hood and the smoke alarm being placed thoughtfully away from the cooking area. The beds are at just the right height, so no need for extra air beds and we all slept really well each night. The double glazing and central heating made it easy to keep the place cosy without fuss. That said, the separate settees werent ideal - they were a bit too short to lie on comfortably. We did have a bit of a let-down when we found the main WC was in a right state and not cleaned and one bedroom had a bit of a smell too. Still, overall, not bad!"
Oliver - Oct 2019
"Really enjoyed our stay! The park was spotless and nestled in such beautiful scenery. Perfect for relaxing and discovering Devons good places."
Martin - Aug 2019
"The countryside is really charming and its just a quick 20-minute drive to everything."
Alexis - Jun 2019
"Really comfy and surprisingly spacious inside."
Mark - Apr 2018
"The caravan was really spacious and super clean, definitely somewhere we'd consider returning to. Modern and comfy. The only thing was, if there were six of us, there wouldnt be enough dishes for cooking. Otherwise, its a cracking place!"
Sarah - May 2017
"Really happy with this caravan, worth every penny!"
Chris - Sep 2016
"We really enjoyed our stay. The caravan was spacious, cosy and had all the essentials for a quick getaway. The warm vibe and welcome pack made it extra special! Definitely recommend."
Clara - Apr 2016
"Really enjoyed our stay! The caravan was super comfy and modern, but the blinds definitely needed a good clean. Still, would recommend."
Jessie - Sep 2015
"Great spot, friendly team, highly recommend."
Sam - Aug 2015
"We really enjoyed our stay, but one thing that did let us down was how cramped the holiday homes felt, especially where we were situated on the site. It made us feel a bit claustrophobic during our time there. If it weren't for that, we definitely would have rated our caravan and the whole holiday much higher!"
Happy Holidaymaker - Sep 2014
"We found the staff here to be really lovely and super helpful. The grounds and caravans are very well kept, which made our stay all the more enjoyable!"
Sophie - Aug 2014
"A really restful location thats central to loads of places for all ages! We loved how convenient it was for getting around. Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway!"
Gerald - Aug 2014
"The warm beer wasnt great, but the site itself was pretty decent overall."
Tom - Jul 2014
"This is the best park we've ever been to. Its so quiet and in a lovely spot. The caravan was spacious and clean. The reception staff knew everything about the area and were super helpful about where we could take the dogs. There are walking areas in the park and just a few minutes down the road, you can walk for miles. The bistro sells really good, delicious food at a fair price. We ate there every night! We're planning to go back next year, so enough said."
Lucy - Jun 2014
"Great welcome from Lee. Nothing too much trouble. Fabulous field for exercising dogs or going for a picnic. Peaceful."
Sue - Aug 2022
"Very enjoyable experience, the welcome was amazing and very helpful with knowledge of best places to eat etc. It was so good we have already booked for next year."
Chrissy - Jul 2022
"Clean quiet site with helpful friendly staff. Good location , peaceful. Lodges are nice, modern and great bedding. Our issue was WI-FI which didn’t work for us and a couple of niggles in the lodge such as blunt utensils and tv not working properly. Would return."
Jenny - Jul 2022
"Great spacious caravan, nice private pitch. Very nice and helpful staff. Very peaceful and relaxing holiday but close enough to all the resorts Highly recommended."

"Lovely site friendly and helpful staff perfect base for exploring South Devon caravan lovely even had a washing machine in ours which was handy"
