"Fab little lodge. Great size fridge and freezer which was a relief. Big shower, all utensils available. Our only problem was that if you turned on the one television the other one would also turn on which was quite funny."

"We stayed at Lidden Lodge No 30 and really enjoyed it. The location by the lake was stunning and the big decking area was perfect for relaxing, though another chair wouldve been a nice addition. Inside, the lodge felt cosy but was still well equipped and spotless. The only downside was the shower, which screeched loudly every time-probably to encourage quick showers! The hairdryer didnt sound great either, so we were a bit cautious. Still, it was a lovely break and wed definitely recommend it!"

"We really enjoyed the cabin; its clearly had some upgrades since last year. A few things like the vegetable peeler, wooden spoon and some pans are missing, probably lost during previous visits. If wed asked, were sure theyd have sorted it out. Overall, we love the place and always look forward to returning!"

"Wonderful cabin with an amazing hot tub! Would recommend for the future. Two small things to improve on which were specified on the last review. Would only say that the bed and the pillows were a bit too soft for our liking but that's personal preference. Everything else was amazing and very clean and accommodating! Thank you!"

"We loved the cosy feel of the place nestled among the trees. The location is absolutely stunning, especially in the summer, we bet! The only downside is the access road-it's a single track about a quarter mile long and blocked at times, which could be a pain when its busy. Still, a lovely spot!"

"The en-suite had a fusty smell no chopping board not enough pots the sofa is no better then the basic upright ones from a caravan not what you expect the place sleeps four but you can only fit two on the sofa if sat up right and one chair no way to lay and chill"

The lodge was clean and tidy and we where thrilled to find out that they had just installed a hot tub in the lodge we were staying in, laycroft was a good location to go and visit all the places around Cornwall we wanted to go. We couldn't recommend it enough."

"We spent New Years Eve here and honestly, it was brilliant. The lodge is super cosy and tucked away in such a peaceful spot. Jo, the manager, was really helpful when we asked to switch lodges - nothing was too much trouble. A few pieces of furniture look a bit worn, but overall, its a great place with everything you need!"

"We stayed at this charming cottage tucked away on a working farm and it felt surprisingly private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely lovely people. The place itself is spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we really appreciated after long walks. The garden is perfect for dogs-completely secluded and nicely furnished. There are plenty of walks nearby and we found some great restaurants in Thaxted like The Star and The Maypole. Honestly, wed definitely recommend this spot!"

"We recently spent a week at Landal Leycroft Valley and honestly, it was just what we needed. Weve been here before and already cant wait to come back again soon. One of the best things about Leycroft is how secluded it is - a nice 20 to 45-minute walk takes you either into Perranporth or St Agnus, or to The Miners Arms in Mithian. We highly recommend the cliff-top walk from St Agnus and Perranporth - such stunning views! The location is also perfect because its nestled right between St Ives and Newquay, so we had plenty of lovely hidden beaches and coves to explore in between. The lodges might be looking a bit tired now (which seems to be a common thing at similar places weve visited over the years), but theyre still just right for us. The hot tub is a real bonus - perfect for relaxing on sunny afternoons or chilled evenings. The kitchen is always well-stocked with all the utilities and crockery we needed and the bathrooms are more than adequate with towels provided. We did run into a slight issue with the oven, but the team, especially Jo, responded super quickly and sorted it out without any fuss. Weve been coming here for nearly 12 years and this was the first time we had a problem, so it hasnt affected our overall love for Leycroft. Jo in particular was so friendly and helpful - we really appreciated her assistance. Were already looking forward to returning next year and revisiting one of our favourite spots in Cornwall. Its just a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the scenery!"

"Lovely lodge with hot tub, well situated for lots of different visits. Very clean and comfortable within a good distance for loads of attractions. Initially the road to arrive is a bit of a scary drive as it is very narrow. You soon get used to it and all drivers are very considerate as these narrow roads often lead you to the most interesting places."

"We have been coming to this sight for many years and have seen it developed .The position of this sight in Cornwall is one of the best ,positioned down a small lane not far from all the lovely beaches and Perranporth itself.The lodges are tucked away with lots of trees surrounding them and very peaceful.The lodge interior was comfortable and clean and all you need while you are on holiday.We stopped for two weeks and we asked if we could have fresh towels for the second week which they provided also changing our bed sheets at the same time."
