"Wonderful place which was well kept with good facilities. The decor is perfect along with the four poster beds. The welcome packs and personalised doggie bag was very much appreciated by our Guide Dog mum Jenny who didn't stop playing with the squeaky toy the whole time we were there. The walks, birds, badgers and deer were amazing and you really felt privileged to be able to watch and feed them. Can't wait to come back. Thanks to the staff for being so helpful, proactive and friendly."

"We had such a lovely stay in this charming little place tucked away in a peaceful spot. The owners were super friendly and always on hand if we needed anything, but it still felt very private. The hot tub was a real highlight after a long cycle day! Just a heads up, the cottage is directly under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but if youre sensitive to noise, its worth considering. Overall, a great getaway."

"We just got back from a four-night stay at this charming cottage and honestly, we had a lovely time. The owners are super friendly but not in your face, which was perfect. The garden is huge and secure - great for our dog to run around. The place had everything we needed and we even enjoyed a BBQ one evening. The hot tub? Absolutely brilliant! "We dont usually write reviews either, but this place really deserves it! Staying in the pet-friendly Keepers Lodge was a lovely experience. The first thing that hit us was how stunning and cosy it looked, almost cottage-like. It was spotless, with tonnes of towels and all the kitchen gadgets you could need - even scissors! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The hot tub was fantastic and kept really clean. Wed definitely come back!"

"We had an absolutely lovely stay! The lodge was spotless and really comfy, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. Our dog was thrilled with the doggy bag upon arrival-treats, a towel and a fun toy-such a nice touch. We appreciated the thoughtful extras like the wine and chocolates for us. The location was perfect, with plenty of scenic walks nearby and a fully enclosed dog park that we booked online, which was great for our pup. The hot tub was definitely a highlight-such a treat after a day out. Nights spent stargazing and spotting badgers made it all even more special. Wed definitely come back!"

"We stayed in a Keepers pet friendly in July. It was amazing!! The lodge was huge, very clean and had everything you needed from a dishwasher to a washing machine and tumble dryer. The hot tub was outstanding and checked every morning by staff. The site is very clean and quite. The driveway into the sight is stunning and houses so much wildlife. The walks around the park are amazing too and we saw so many deer and foxes.
They have wildlife cameras that you can watch on the TV in the lodges.
We hired bikes too, it very good value for money and very easy to do. The staff were fantastic. You are out of the way of any supermarkets but can get a delivery to site and there are some stunning towns to visit not far from site. Whitby is about an hour drive. We absolutely loved our holidays. We will definitely be booking next year. It was one of the best sites we have ever stayed in."

"We stayed at Cherry Tree Barn and it was absolutely beautiful, gorgeous surrounding areas. The barn was very clean and very big, 3 good sized bedrooms. We did a woodland walk with our dog it was about an hour and it took you to Sandburn Hall. Tykes restaurant is also at Sandburn Hall and it is definitely worth a visit, the food was excellent and the staff are a credit to the restaurant, all were extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely visit again in the near future."

"Had a lovely time. Was heatwave first day so no need for hot tub,acd tub would have been better, Lol. could have done with air con or fans that day. But a lovely time and the best WiFi set up with smart TV. Great. Ps be aware the WiFi logs you out and you have to search again to reconnect every so often but inly when you have bit used for a while. A wee squirrel visitor came to see us every day on the patio. Bring the citronella candles though as you are in a forest. Not many midgies but horseflys. Great location for York and Scarborough."
