Malton Grange Country Park Reviews

"The hot tub's view was pretty disappointing - it faced the main entrance road, so anyone passing by could easily see us. Not very private at all."
David - Mar 2025
"Great stay, would definitely return soon!"
JessieMoss - Sep 2024
"Really loved the place, had everything needed!"
Emma - Sep 2024
"We stayed at the lodge recently and honestly, it was fantastic. The place was super spacious and felt really luxurious. The utility area was a lifesaver for drying our wet dog after walks and having a washing machine was a definite plus. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen space was huge with plenty of storage and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could need. The main bedroom was a good size, with a dressing table, a separate wardrobe room and a lovely en-suite. Bedroom 2 had two single beds and lots of wardrobe space too. The main bathroom with the enclosed shower was quite stylish. We loved chilling outside on the patio with the hot tub-really well looked after. Wed definitely come back!"
Lucy - Sep 2024
"Our Malton Grange Country Park review: Good value overall, but wouldn't stretch to pay more, honestly."
Alex Morgan - Sep 2024
"Smooth transaction, no problems at all! Definitely recommend."
Alex Morgan - Aug 2024
"Overall, it was a decent stay. The rates were fair and the place felt like good value for what we paid."
James - Aug 2024
"Really disappointed with the whole experience. Staff were rude and unhelpful, hot tubs were dirty and didnt function properly at all."
Emma T. - Aug 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay here! The park is so peaceful, perfect for relaxing. There isnt much for kids on-site, but that wasnt a problem since we loved using the hot tub and there are loads of cute towns nearby to explore. The vacuum wasnt the best, but we understood its probably best not to trust a really fancy one. Overall, a lovely place for a quiet getaway. Would definitely come back!"
Emma - Jul 2024
"The room was spotless, which we really appreciated. We just wish there had been mattress and pillow protectors; the mattress was a bit firm for our liking. The living space was beautifully decorated and very cosy."
Emma Carter - Jul 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, the lodge was just perfect for us."
Emma - Jul 2024
"We tried this place expecting luxury, but honestly, its a bit of a stretch. The units are clean but look really worn out now. Not quite what we hoped for, especially given the claim of being the most luxurious in Yorkshire."
James - Jul 2024
"We had a lovely stay at Malton Grange. The lodge was really well looked after and comfy. Perfect base for exploring North Yorkshire too. Definitely recommend!"
James - Jul 2024
"Sadly, the cabin we got was nowhere near VIP quality, so were quite disappointed with our stay."
Emma Carter - Jun 2024
"Bluebell Lodge truly feels like a home away from home. The comfy sofas and divan beds are perfect for relaxing and every room has a TV. The hot tub is fantastic and the disco lights really add a fun touch. We loved every minute!"
Amelia - Apr 2024
"The lodge looked different from the pictures, but we still enjoyed our stay overall."
Emma Carter - Mar 2024
"We had a lovely stay at the holiday park. The lodge was spacious and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The Christmas decorations and tree were a nice touch, really put us in the festive spirit! A few minor issues like the window blinds, door handles and stained mattress cover could be sorted, but overall we enjoyed it a lot."
Emma Richards - Jan 2024
"The place was super easy to find and the facilities were top-notch. We did hit a snag during our departure with a power cut and since it was Christmas, the emergency line was unreachable. Still, overall, it didnt ruin our trip at all!"
Emma Carter - Dec 2023
"We stayed as a family of five adults and overall had a nice weekend at Lazy Bear Lodge. The beds were comfy, which was great, though the single room felt a little cramped for an adult. Its handy that theres free WiFi and a smart TV to log into Netflix. Yorks about a 35-minute drive, so not too far."
Alex - Oct 2023
"The en-suite bed was quite low and tricky to get into, plus no iron or ironing board. On the bright side, the hot tub was just perfect! Wi-fi was pretty patchy though."
Sam - May 2023
"Our stay in Green 5 was quite pleasant, even though it didnt match the lodge picture. The bedrooms were a bit cosy, but the bed was comfy. Some of the equipment looked a bit worn, but overall, it was a nice place."
Emma - May 2023
"Looking forward to visiting again"
Emma - Jan 1970
"It was perfect for us as a family-lots to do when we wanted, yet peaceful enough to relax. Exactly what we needed! Good value too."
Emma - Jan 1970
"The cottage was absolutely lovely, with a cosy log burner and a relaxing hot tub. The hosts were so welcoming, made us feel right at home. We can't wait to come back for a longer stay soon!"
Sarah - May 2025
"We had a fantastic stay! The house was perfectly equipped and super cosy, especially on that rainy December day. The bath was just lovely and the shower was great too. Being near the flight path didn't bother us at all, which was a relief. Perfect spot for dogs who dislike fireworks - totally peaceful. Beautifully converted property, really enjoyed our time there! Thanks so much!"
Emily Carter - May 2025
"We had an amazing weekend here! The place was just what we needed and were already planning to return. Our dogs had a blast too - especially with the underfloor heating, which they loved. The garden was perfect for them to play in. Luna even wagged her tail so much she hurt it, but shes fine now. Happy pups, happy us!"
James - May 2025
"The cottage was really charming and perfect for what we wanted. The location was peaceful, far from busy areas. The hot tub was a lovely bonus! Owners were super helpful without being overbearing. They've got it just right."
Oliver - May 2025
"We really enjoyed our stay at Goddard's Mead. Rob and Sharon have done an amazing job transforming this historic building with such care. They made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived and Bonnie was lovely too! The location is perfect for exploring Essex - we took some time to wander around Thaxted and other nearby villages, which are full of charm and history. Definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway!"
Emma - May 2025
"I have nothing but good things to say about our stay. My family and myself all work full time and are rarely together, so being in the lodge together was fantastic and everything was there for a relaxing break. Have already told people to get booked up, and hope to get back there ourselves later in year."
Kevin - Jul 2022
"The lodge is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The site is nice and quiet. Recommend investing in aircon machine as the lodge holds so much heat in the beautiful summer weather."
