Falsgrave Leisure and Lodges Reviews

"We really enjoyed our stay! The Pemberley VIP lodge was fantastic, but a little shop on-site for essentials like milk and bread would be the cherry on top. Would definitely come back!"
Emma - Feb 2025
"Really enjoyed our stay here, the garden was perfect for the dogs to run freely!"
Harper - Dec 2024
"We had a really lovely stay here; the setting is so peaceful and private, perfect for relaxing. The owners are genuinely friendly and always ready to help if needed, but they respect your space too. The hot tub was a great bonus after a long day of cycling. One thing to note, though, is that the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but if youre sensitive to noise, its something to keep in mind. Still, wed happily stay again!"
Rajiv - Dec 2024
"We had a cracking weekend in a cosy, spacious lodge with stunning views of Scarboroughs coast."
Sarah - Dec 2024
"Our Falsgrave Leisure and Lodges review: Really enjoyed the stay, the lodges were roomy and had all we needed!"
Emily - Oct 2024
"We honestly couldn't find a single fault with our stay. The kitchen was so well-equipped - honestly, they've thought of everything! The sofas were super comfy and the beds were really lovely. Had a fantastic holiday with everyone!"
Charlotte - Oct 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, stunning views and the place was spotless and cosy too."
Jordan - Aug 2024
"Lovely stay with welcoming hosts and the jacuzzi was a real bonus. We loved it!"
Laura - Aug 2024
"We loved the lodge - super modern and well kitted out. The outdoor decking with comfy seating offered stunning views over Scarborough. Only downside was the water pressure, which was a bit disappointing, especially for long showers!"
James - Jun 2024
"The lodge was surprisingly spacious, spotless and super comfy. They really thought of everything for us!"
Rachel - Jun 2024
"Really enjoyed the whole experience"
Jamie - May 2024
"We had a lovely time staying here! Sharon and Robert really made us feel at home, which was great. The place was super clean, comfy and felt safe for our dog Archie. The location was spot-on, with loads of walks nearby and Thaxted and the surrounding villages are just charming. Honestly, we left feeling totally recharged and relaxed. Definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway!"
Sophie - Apr 2024
"We loved the cosy feel of the cottage, especially the log burner. The hosts were really friendly and the peaceful location made it perfect for us. Hope to come back soon for a longer stay!"
Lucy - Apr 2024
"We really enjoyed the place, especially wandering the fields with our dogs-so lovely and relaxing!"
Ellie - Apr 2024
"The park's location is pretty handy-just a quick 5-minute drive to the seafront. We also found Whitby about 35 minutes north and Bridlington roughly 40 minutes south. Places like Filey, Flamborough Head and Bempton Cliffs are worth checking out too-definitely a good base for exploring!"
Mark - Feb 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, the scenery was stunning and the lodge lovely."
Olivia - Feb 2024
"We had a lovely stay at this spacious two-bedroom lodge. The views from the decking and hot tub of Scarborough and the sea are stunning. The place is well-equipped, making our stay really comfortable and relaxing. Definitely recommend it!"
Alex - Dec 2023
"This place is beautifully kept, super cosy and the hot tub is a real treat! We didnt want to go home."
Sam - Nov 2023
"We had a lovely stay at this place, tucked away in such a peaceful, private spot. The owners were genuinely friendly and always ready to help if needed, but they kept that perfect boundary so you still felt secluded. The hot tub was a real treat after cycling all day! Only thing to note is that the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us after a while, but if you're sensitive, its worth considering. Overall, a great find!"
Raj - Nov 2023
"We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend these lodges. The location was peaceful and the lodges were really comfy overall. One little thing wed suggest is adding a shelter over the hot tub-rain or shine, wed love to enjoy it without weather worries. The beds were quite firm, maybe softer mattresses could help? Also, as a family of 7, we ran out of toilet rolls a couple of times; a few small touches like that could make a huge difference. Still, a great break!"
Harriet & Luke - Nov 2023
"Really enjoyed our stay, everything was well thought out and comfy."
Mike - Nov 2023
"We really enjoyed our stay! The cottages peaceful spot was perfect for us and the hot tub was a lovely added bonus. Owners were super helpful without being intrusive at all."
George - Sep 2023
"We had such a lovely stay! The owners are genuinely caring and went out of their way to help us. The cottage itself is adorable, with its charming half-timbered style and a really strong shower that we appreciated after long walks. The cosy kitchen and comfy bed made it feel like a home away from home. Parking right next to the cottage was super convenient and its perfectly located for exploring Thaxted and nearby villages. Well definitely be back!"
Oliver - Aug 2023
"Really enjoyed our stay here! The garden was perfect for the dogs, fully enclosed and safe. The place itself was super peaceful, just what we needed to unwind. Its a lovely spot, quiet and relaxing without any fuss. Well definitely come back again, its just ideal for us. Couldnt recommend it enough for anyone looking for a calm getaway with their furry friends!"
Holly - Jul 2023
"One of the nicest Lodge parks we've stayed on Defiantly staying again soon"
Louise - Aug 2022
"The lodge was fantastic. Highly recommend. Will most likely book again next year."
Stewart - Jul 2022
"Fabulous place, lovely and clean, everything you needed was provided, the location is stunning with fabulous views. Hot tub checked twice a day."
Tracey - Jul 2022
"Fantastic place to stay for a family holiday if you want to be in a quiet location but not to far from the seaside attractions. Great place."
Margaret - Jul 2022
"The area is very clean and well kept. Lots of space . Miles and Vivienne were excellent hosts, nothing was a bother and always had time for customers."
Pamela - Jul 2022
"We loved our break at Falsgrave leisure and lodges. Everything you needed in the lodges. Very clean and plenty of space. The park itself was very tidy and we had great views. Would recommend it to friends and we will definitely go back."
Bronwyn - Jul 2022
"The perfect holiday location! A beautiful lodge surrounded by the perfect scenery. A quiet and peaceful setting with such lovely staff. My family have had the best 5 days away so much so we have booked for next year! My son is non verbal, autistic and he loved it here! The freedom to run around the little fields and the hot tub was a firm favourite. A happy little haven."
Kirsty - Jul 2022
"Lovely park, very quiet, great views, only 10 mins drive to the sea front and perfect for days out in the surrounding areas too. Just what we wanted. Owner was very helpful at check in, making sure we had all relevant information. Highly recommend!"
Donna - Jul 2022
"The location and holiday park layout is excellent, lodges are well spread out and feel quite private. The only real negative is the 5pm check in time, which is too late! Its nice to be able to get in your holiday accommodation earlier so you can unload your stuff and relax into your holiday. I have never ever had to wait until 5pm before at any other accommodation, most are 3pm or even 2pm. I saw lodges being cleaned at 9:30 am, so I don't really believe the extra late check in is required in relation to cleaning."
Daniel - Jul 2022
"Really great location for relaxing taking in the views, plenty room for the children to play out. A well maintained site, no litter lovely surroundings.North Bay a short car ride away local shops nearby."
Melanie - Jul 2022
"stunning views, staff very helpful, so peaceful."
Sally - Jul 2022
"Lovely site and lodge. Very clean and well kept. Will definitely be coming back again."
Faye - Jul 2022
"What an amazing place to stay. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back. We will be booking again in the future."
Rebecca - Jul 2022
"This is the best place I have ever stayed in. The lodge was home from home and the lodge was wonderful. I will stay here again when next in Scarborough."

Look out for special events including the Battle of Peasholm Park Naval Battle which has been described as a "must see".  You can also take a ride on the North Bay Railway which will delight children.
Scarborough Sea Life and Marine Sanctuary - YO12 6RP

If you are enjoying a lodge break in the Yorkshire Moors and Coast then a day trip to the Scarborough Sea Life and Marine Sanctuary highly recommended. This centre is one of the regions most popular attractions and is educational as well as fun. Visitors will enjoy a journey beneath the waves, meeting many strange, beautiful and fascinating creatures of the deep. As well as mighty sharks and beautiful rays guests can get up close to some more common creatures including star fish and can also meet the otters, seals and penguins at feeding time. The site also has children's play area and picnic tables as well as a restaurant and souvenir shop. Family tickets cost £46.80 but the Tourist Information Centres in Scarborough, Whitby or Filey often offer fantastic discounts.
Betton Farm Visitor Centre - TF9 3PS
about 2 Miles
Betton Farm Visitor Centre is the ideal attraction close to the North Yorkshire coastal town of Scarborough. This animal farm has all the cute farm animals you would expect to see and will appeal to younger children especially.  A great place to both play and learn we think the Betton Farm Visitor centre is great value for money.  Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs.  Some of the highlights of the day might include meeting Sofie the Shetland Pony and Henry the goat, as well as the pot bellied pigs called Porky and Hammy.

Located in the Scalby Mills area of Scarborough this makes a fun family day out for those who are interested in marine life. The fantastic ocean tank is well worth seeing - it's been transformed into a Turtle Reef and you can see an amazing array of colourful reef fish and coral. You may also catch a glimpse of the tropical sharks and turtles. Offering good value for money this is a day out with a difference and an all weather attraction.
The Grainary Wildlife Farm - YO25 3HS

Located in Harwood Dale Village, North Yorkshire we think this attraction makes a superb family day out and couples will also enjoy the nature walks in the area.  There are 6 nature walks in total surrounding the farm so walkers and lovers of the outdoors will be in their element. With thrilling rides for the very daring like Cliff Hanger, Corkscrew and Kumali, there are also more gentle rides for the little ones such as Frog Hopper and Helitoys.  Family fun attractions include the 4D cinema, the lost river ride and the Little Monsters Den of Mischief. Check out their website for seasonal events which take place throughout the year and you can also gain more information about the zoo.  Flamingo Land is a resort as well as a theme park so you can also book accommodation there.
