High Farm Holiday Park Reviews

"The staff really went out of their way to be friendly and considerate, especially with the baby. Its a shame there werent a few coat hooks though, the space was a bit tight."
Emma Clarke - Nov 2024
"The place was stunning, super spotless and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a real highlight!"
Jessie - Oct 2024
"The place was spotless and super comfy, even in a busy holiday park it felt calm and chill."
Emily Harper - Sep 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, the place was so tranquil and perfect for our dog to run freely."
Clara - Jul 2024
"Our High Farm Holiday Park review: We had a really lovely stay at this place. The setting is so peaceful and private, yet the owners are super friendly and there if you need anything. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a day of cycling - absolute bliss! The only thing to keep in mind is that the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us too much after a while, but if youre sensitive to noise, its worth considering. Overall, a great spot!"
Rajiv - Jul 2024
"This place is really well thought out. We had such a relaxing break, definitely telling our friends about it!"
Mark - Jun 2024
"Such a lovely spot, really relaxing and the Jacuzzi was perfect!"
Jamie - Mar 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay at Goddard Mead. The cottage had everything we needed and the surroundings were perfect for walks right outside. The hosts were genuinely lovely and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!"
Sarah - Jan 2024
"We stayed in a glamping pod recently and its definitely a mixed bag. You need to bring your own cleaning cloths and washing up liquid, which caught us out a bit. When we opened the window, we had a fly infestation, but we managed to get rid of them without bothering anyone since it was our first visit. The site itself is fantastic, with a lovely on-site restaurant and really friendly staff. However, dont expect four people comfortably - the sofa folds out into a small double, so its a bit snug for two adults."
Harriet - Nov 2023
"We loved the cosy atmosphere, especially the log burner and hot tub. The hosts were really friendly, making our mini break very special. Hope to come back soon!"
Lucy - Nov 2023
"The bed was super comfy, everything was spotless when we arrived and wed definitely book again!"
Jessica Carter - Nov 2023
"We really enjoyed the location of the pods, perfect for catching sunlight most of the day. Its also fantastic for stargazing at night. The kitchen and bathroom facilities are quite handy and there are plenty of sockets, which is always a plus. Overall, quite a comfy stay!"
Alex - Nov 2023
"We visited with the family to celebrate the wifes 30th birthday. The place was spotless, staff were super friendly and it was exactly what we needed. Well definitely return!"
James - Nov 2023
"The owners really went above and beyond-everything was thought of! We had such a relaxing stay, definitely telling friends."
Markus - Aug 2023
"We had such a lovely stay! Sharon and Robert really went out of their way to make us feel at home, which was much appreciated. The place was spotlessly clean, cosy and felt safe for our dog Archie. The location was perfect - plenty of walks around and charming villages nearby like Thaxted. Honestly, it was just what we needed to unwind and recharge. Definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway!"
Jane Parker - Aug 2023
"We loved the cottage! Perfect spot for a peaceful break, away from busy crowds. The hot tub was fantastic and the owners were so friendly and helpful. Just right!"
Oliver - Aug 2023
"Overall, pretty decent stay. The shower couldve been a bit cleaner, but it wasnt a big deal. The sofa and bed werent the comfiest, but the pod itself and the hot tub definitely made up for it. Would stay again!"
