"We had a lovely week here from 15th to 22nd July with our two mini dachshunds who absolutely loved the place. They made friends in the village of Thaxted, which was adorable to watch. The cottage itself is charming and the hot tub was a real highlight, especially with the hot weather - it was so nice to cool off. The hosts were super friendly and it was nice to see their dogs being taken out to the fields every day. Being near Stansteds flight path was interesting too - loved watching the planes land. Definitely recommend!"

They even arranged for the lodge to be decorated before we arrived - such a nice touch! The lodge itself was spotless and surprisingly spacious. The hot tub area was really private and covered, perfect for relaxing. The onsite cafe was a bonus too. Definitely recommend!"

"Very nice Lodge (Oak) and site. Site easy to find and not to big so nice and peaceful and not crowded or overlooked. Hot tub very good and enclosed decking is good if you have a dog. Lodge well furnished with most equipment that is needed for self catering, although could do with a teapot and couple of smaller sharp knives for prep work"
