"We had a great winter getaway with friends at this modern lodge. The hot tub was perfect, especially with the cover. Two comfy double bedrooms, one with en-suite and a spacious main bathroom. Definitely a lovely spot for a short break!"

"We stayed at Hazel Lodge recently and honestly, it was lovely. The place is super modern and spotless, with such a comfy vibe. The hot tub was definitely the best part, especially after a long day-so relaxing and the lights at night make it even more special. The location is perfect if youre after peace and quiet, its genuinely serene. We also loved the coffee shop; those cakes are divine! Only downside is it wasnt open in the evening, so we didnt get a chance to try the dinner menu, which looked really good. But overall, a great stay!"

"We had such a lovely stay! Sarah and Paul are genuinely some of the nicest hosts we've ever met-friendly but never overbearing. The shepherds hut was just what we needed: cosy, well-equipped and surprisingly warm considering its a small wooden structure. We simply turned the heating off when we went to bed and it stayed perfectly comfy. The hot tub was a real highlight, especially after some heavy rain - we did hit a tiny snag where it wasnt quite as hot as we wanted, but a quick message to Sarah and Paul sorted it out in no time. They told us to turn it off and on again, which did the trick! Visiting Beverley on Saturday and Bridlington on Sunday was so easy; both less than an hour away and great for exploring. Oh and the breakfast! Honestly, the ultimate breakfast was incredible and only a quid extra. The full English was included, which was plenty, but I was really craving mushrooms, so I was chuffed. We also grabbed some cake to takeaway-absolutely yummy! All in all, an excellent value stay in a peaceful spot close to loads of nice places. Well definitely be back, cant recommend it enough!"

"We had a lovely stay in the shepherds hut. It was a bit smaller than we imagined, but super cosy and easy to manage. The place was spotless and really comfy and the price for three nights was quite reasonable. We didnt bother with breakfast at the onsite cafe, too lazy! The hot tub was great-clean and undercover, so rain wasnt an issue. WIFI was a bit patchy on the TV, but hotspotting our phones worked fine. If only it had underfloor heating, itd be perfect!"

"We recently spent four days at Croft Park Lodges and honestly, it was fantastic! The lodges themselves are really lovely, with a cozy yet modern vibe and the surroundings are peaceful and scenic - perfect for relaxing. The hot tub was a highlight, used almost every evening and it felt super private and secure, just what we needed for a stress-free break. The staff were great too, especially with all the extra info they provided during the pandemic - we felt well looked after even with limited face-to-face contact. We took a trip to York one day, which was just a short drive and its definitely worth a visit. Hornsea beach was another nearby spot we enjoyed exploring. On our last day, we popped into the Black Horse pub for lunch - lovely food and friendly staff. All in all, a memorable holiday and well be recommending it to friends and family for sure!"

"Very nice Lodge (Oak) and site. Site easy to find and not to big so nice and peaceful and not crowded or overlooked. Hot tub very good and enclosed decking is good if you have a dog. Lodge well furnished with most equipment that is needed for self catering, although could do with a teapot and couple of smaller sharp knives for prep work"
