Close to bustling market towns, pretty villages and the stunning Yorkshire Moors, Jamies Cragg Holiday Park is a superb location for a secluded, relaxing break. It's a few minutes' walk from the River Derwent, 20 minutes drive from York, and there's a beautiful woodland walk just behind the park. There are also some really good local pubs within easy reach.

There are a number of really lovely picnic spots around the park - and plenty of river and lake fishing. The village of Welburn has loads of interesting shops, pubs and a delightful Artisan bakery. Castle Howard is just a few miles away and there's lots to do in York, including a visit to Sutton Park and York Minster, England's largest Gothic church.

These contemporary lodges have outdoor hot tubs and are well designed and spacious. Limestone Lodge sleeps four - it has one double bedroom with ensuite, a twin room, shower room and a light and airy open plan living/dining/kitchen area. Patio doors lead to a verandah with a private hot tub and garden furniture.

Plan some great days out in North Yorkshire. York Dungeons certainly aren't for the faint-hearted, set in dark, musty cellars with life size tableaux of deaths and persecutions!

Emma - Apr 2019
"We absolutely loved it! The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a busy day and the lodge suited our style perfectly. Its super handy being close to loads of places if we fancied exploring a bit."
Emma - Mar 2019
"Really happy with the place overall, just a bit noisy because of the parks location. If it was a little further from the road, itd be spot on!"
Emma - Feb 2019
"Nice spot, but prices need to be more reasonable."
Emma - Jan 2019
"Great experience, would happily do it again!"
Emily - Oct 2018
"Relaxing stay, perfect for a peaceful getaway away from the hustle."

"Limestone Lodge really stands out from others we've stayed at, definitely a top pick for us!"
Emily Carter - Jun 2018
"The hot tub was fantastic and the barbecue spot was spotless too. Staff were super friendly-definitely coming back!"
Emma - May 2018
"We had such a lovely stay at this cabin! The price was really fair and the place itself was lovely. We honestly wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were super helpful when we had an issue with the hot tub - even though it was late, they sorted it out quickly and it was ready to go by lunch. The only thing that slightly spoiled it was the noise from the busy main road since the cabins at the top of the park. Maybe planting some more trees could help block the sound? Still, wed definitely come back!"
Emma - May 2018
"We stayed here recently and loved it! The place was huge, spotless and had everything we needed. The hot tub was definitely a highlight. Highly recommend!"
Alex - Mar 2018
"We had a lovely stay at the lodge! The facilities are spot on and its really convenient for visiting York, Scarborough and Whitby. The only slight downside was the proximity to the road, but the noise wasnt a big deal. Well definitely come back!"
Emma - Jan 2018
"Perfect spot to unwind after a long day"
Mark - Dec 2017
"Really enjoyed our stay, the lodge had everything we needed! Lovely experience."
Emma - Sep 2017
"The lodge was lovely, but we found it a bit lacking in glassware for six guests. Only two wine glasses and champagne flutes were available. Still, we enjoyed our stay overall!"
Alex - Sep 2017
"Limestone Lodge was really comfortable and had everything we needed. The inside was lovely, but the outside could use some sprucing up-just more than mud and bark would do the trick! Overall, though, a great stay."
Emma - Jul 2017
"We stayed here recently and honestly, it was pretty good overall. Every bedroom had a TV and there was also one in the living room along with a DVD player, which was handy for relaxing evenings. The twin bedrooms were really nice and you could easily push the beds together if you wanted a double bed. The main bathroom was huge, with both a bath and a shower, which we appreciated. The main bedroom was lovely too, with an en-suite and a heated towel rail-such a nice touch! The beds were super comfy and on arrival, there were fresh towels and clean bedding on each bed. They didnt change the bedding during our stay, but it wasnt an issue for us. If you need fresh towels, theres a washing machine outside. The only minor grumbles were that the wine cooler was broken and the oven was gas, which Im not used to, but nothing major. Plus, theres a lovely electric fire in the front room and central heating, so it was cosy enough!"
Emma Roberts - Jun 2017
"We loved staying here! The lodge feels just like home, with a well-stocked kitchen, super comfy beds and a hot tub thats kept in perfect condition. Definitely recommend!"
Emma - Jun 2017
"Great experience, definitely coming back!"
James - May 2017
"Really enjoyed staying here. Spacious for six, modern look and everything was spotless. Would definitely come back!"

"Comfortable stay, everything was spot on"

Emma - Jan 1970
"The bedding was missing when we arrived, probably because of Covid. They asked us to bring sheets but didnt provide pillows or a duvet-bit awkward!"
