"We booked the Willow Lodge during Storm Burt, so the weather was pretty dreadful. Thankfully, the place was spacious, modern and spotless. The hot tub was a real highlight-super clean and well-maintained. We appreciated the daily visits from staff to check everything was in order. Looking forward to coming back when the weathers better!"

"We stayed at this beautiful lodge and loved how spotless it was. The grounds are kept pristine, with groundsmen always making sure everything looks perfect. The hot tub was checked daily, which was great. Its the only dog-friendly place weve found that doesnt show signs of dogs having stayed before - nice touch! Delk, the site warden, was super friendly and really helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The location is easy to find since its just off the A38, but that also means you hear some road noise. Still, wed definitely recommend it!"

The cottage itself is adorable, with charming half-timbered features and a cosy vibe. The shower is powerful, which was a nice surprise and the beds are super comfy. Parking right outside was really convenient. Its well-heated, spotless and perfect for exploring-great walks across the fields to Thaxted and easy trips to nearby sights. Wed definitely come back!"

"We had such a lovely stay at this cosy place tucked away in a peaceful spot. The hosts were really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed without intruding on our privacy. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day cycling around the area. Just a heads up, the cottage is quite close to Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us too much once we got used to it, but its worth mentioning if youre sensitive to noise. Overall, a great little find!"
