Notter Bridge Holiday Park Reviews

"We had such a lovely stay at this cosy little spot. The location is really peaceful and private, yet the owners are super friendly and nearby if you need anything. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day of cycling - absolutely loved it! One thing to keep in mind is that the cottage is right under Stansted's flight path, so there's quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but if you're sensitive to noise, thats worth knowing. Overall, a great find!"
Rajiv Patel - May 2025
"We had a fantastic weekend at this place! It really ticked all our boxes and were already planning to come back. The garden was a hit with our dogs, especially with the underfloor heating which kept them cosy. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it-guess she really enjoyed herself! Definitely a great stay for us and the pups!"
Charlie - Apr 2025
"Really enjoyed the stay, lovely surroundings and comfy rooms."
Emma Roberts - Mar 2025
"Really enjoyed our stay here. The garden was perfect for the dog and the hot tub was just what we needed for a relaxing weekend. Lovely hosts too!"
Claire - Mar 2025
"Our Notter Bridge Holiday Park review: We stayed at Goddard's Mead recently and were really impressed. Rob and Sharon have done a wonderful job transforming this historic building with such care. They were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home and Bonnie was lovely too. The location is perfect for exploring Essexs charming villages like Thaxted, which is worth wandering around. Honestly, its the ideal spot for a relaxing break and wed definitely recommend it!"
Amelia Thompson - Feb 2025
"We booked the Willow Lodge during Storm Burt, so the weather was pretty dreadful. Thankfully, the place was spacious, modern and spotless. The hot tub was a real highlight-super clean and well-maintained. We appreciated the daily visits from staff to check everything was in order. Looking forward to coming back when the weathers better!"
Alex - Nov 2024
"Absolutely loved our stay! The owners really went all out to make everything perfect. Will be telling friends for sure."
Mark - Oct 2024
"Great location for exploring Cornwall and Devon, really made our trip much easier!"
Emily Turner - Oct 2024
"We had such a lovely stay at this cosy place tucked away in a peaceful spot. The hosts were really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed without intruding on our privacy. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day cycling around the area. Just a heads up, the cottage is quite close to Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us too much once we got used to it, but its worth mentioning if youre sensitive to noise. Overall, a great little find!"
Raj Patel - Oct 2024
"Really enjoyed the stay"
James - Oct 2024
"Really enjoyed our time here! The place was spotless, well-equipped and the hot tub was a highlight."
Rachel - Jul 2024
"We loved the cosy log burner and relaxing hot tub. The hosts were really welcoming, making our stay peaceful and perfect. Can't wait to come back!"
Lucy - Jul 2024
"We had such a great weekend at this place! Everything we hoped for and more. The pups really enjoyed the underfloor heating and the garden was perfect for them to play around. Luna even came back with a strained tail-turns out she was wagging it non-stop all weekend! Definitely planning to return, everyone was so happy!"
Jamie - Jun 2024
"We stayed at the lodge and honestly, it was spotlessly clean and really spacious. Everything was functional and they even left some nice little extras for us. Lovely stay!"
Oliver - Apr 2024
"We had a really lovely stay in this cosy little spot, tucked away in such a peaceful, private area. The hosts were super friendly and always on hand if we needed anything, but it still felt like we had our own space. The hot tub was a real highlight after a long cycle day! Only thing to note is the noise from planes overhead, as its right under the flight path at Stansted. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but honestly didnt ruin our trip. Would definitely go back!"
Harriet - Apr 2024
"We had such a great weekend stay! The place was perfect for what we needed and well be returning for sure. Our dogs had a blast, especially with the underfloor heating and the garden was just lovely for them to explore. Lunas wagging tail was a clear sign of how much fun she had-she even strained it! Happy pups, happy us!"
Sam - Mar 2024
"We loved the peaceful atmosphere here. Sharon and Robert really go above and beyond to make sure youre comfortable. Its our second time and honestly, were already planning our next visit. Cant wait!"
Charlotte - Nov 2023
"We loved the lodge! The tub was perfect for star gazing and the location was lovely despite a bit of road noise. Would stay again!"
Olivia - Nov 2023
"Comfortable and well-located stay"
George - Nov 2023
"We loved the cosy feel of the cottage, especially the log burner and hot tub. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Hope to come back soon for a longer stay!"
