These beautiful cottages have been beautifully restored from old Cornish farm buildings, and now feature contemporary design, light open plan interiors and cutting edge technology. They're only a short walk from the popular town of Looe - and not far from Polperro - so there is a good selection of shops, restaurant and pubs nearby.

Kilminorth Cottages have their own gorgeous gardens and an impressive outdoor swimming pool. An all-weather tennis court plus lovely walks through the woodland are also right on the doorstep. This is a lovely part of Cornwall and accessible to some major attractions, such as the Eden Project and Adrenaline Quarry, home of the longest zip wire in the UK.

Bridle Cottage sleeps up to five people over two storeys. It's bright, airy and comfortable with two luxury double bedrooms and one single room. The patio doors lead to a terrace with a barbecue, garden furniture and private outdoor hot tub.

As well as the many sporting activities - sailing, gliding, hot air ballooning - available in Cornwall, you could also spend a day meeting the primates at the Monkey Sanctuary in Looe.

This place is amazing , Scrumpy Cottage was gorgeous , private hot tub and bbq , enclosed courtyard garden , dog friendly , spotlessly clean , great extra facilities provided , dishwasher , clean towels etc.. The cottage is very traditional from the outside but very modern and open plan inside . Very peaceful and quiet , Has the most amazing comfy beds ever!!!! Scrumpy has a large tv with freeview , dvd player and wifi , a large bathroom with bath and a walk in shower . Kilminorth boasts a large heated outdoor pool , tennis court , trampoline , large fields to walk your dog and a huge play area for the kids to kick a ball and let off steam, they even have a laundry room and a little library with books , dvds , puzzles, games you can borrow and return, and local information of places to visit , and the owner Jayne is always on hand to help you with anything else you may need . The whole set up at Kilminorth couldn't be better , they really have thought of everything .

We had a very pleasant weekend in March 2016 staying in the Scrumpy Cottage. Great bonus that the dog could come on holiday with us too! Also it was lovely to have the hot tub. The cottage was clean and comfortable although the lounge seating was cosy for four adults! Fantastic location - only a short drive to both Looe and Polperro. We would definitely return for a further stay and would highly recommend to others.

Date of stay: 20th February 2016
We had a very pleasant stay.
Only issues were wifi was extremely poor, and interfered with contacting what I needed.
The sofa suite was very scruffy could do with clean or replacement arm was broken.
Hot tub excellent but could do with outside shower to clean before and wash off after, prevent water walking through cottage, if it were mine...
Gemma, Cannington
Date of stay: 17th February 2016
Had an amazing break and would definitely go back. Just a couple of things I feel would be beneficial, more information on wifi access (I.e. Where hot spots are) and a complimentary welcome pack with just a couple teas, coffees and a pint of milk. It was a beautiful place to stay and very friendly.
Date of stay: 17th February 2016

Date of stay: 4th July 2015
The Bridle Cottage is very spacious, has modern fittings and is bright and fresh. It has everything you could possibly need for your stay even a dishwasher. The hot tub was great to relax in after a long day with great views over the woods. It would of been nice to of had a small selection of tea and coffee and milk etc on our arrival after a long journey but I believe there is an option to select extras when booking. It was also great that our two dogs were also welcome to stay in the cottage meaning they could have a holiday too. Overall a great place to stay and we soon felt at home.

Sharon, Staffordshire
Date of stay: 1st December 2013
Lovely little cottage very modern had everything we needed for our little break Jane showed us round bigger cottages for a May break that we would like to take very nice people and dogs that run it.
Amazing facilities and lovely accommodation, the only reason a 10 was not given was there is always room for improvement and the cottage's heating was set so you couldn't adjust. Would definitely go back.
The cottage was very well done. It was modern but the period features were well preserved. The location felt very rural but was only a 5-10 min drive from the local town which is a typical sea side town. I had a call from the owners telling me that the cottage was ready before the check in time which was nice of them. I enjoyed this location very much and will visit again soon
A beautiful part of the county- would happily go again
Lovely stay made to feel very welcome , lovely surroundings not too far from the main town ... if I wanna sti stay again I’d upgrade to a cottage with a jacuzzi
Brilliant stay had everything we needed great location just simply great.
This was our second visit and once again did not disappoint. The accomidation and surrounding area is fantastic and within 5mins on Looe.
Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. Excellent facilities, children loved the swimming pool, trampoline and tennis courts.
5 star acoomodation, friendly staff, fantastic setting cannot wait to revisit. Highly recommend these cottages.
An amazing place. Great, helpful hosts in a relaxing setting. Cottages are well appointed and comfortable without being over the top. Would go again
A family of six we had Ash Cottage and thoroughly loved every minute the hot tub was a great bonus - and the cottage was excellent everything you need - loved the two Labradors that came to visit occasionally .
Lovely and relaxing. Hot tub was fantastic and staff were brilliant. The cottage was beautiful. Would definitely visit again, the dog hasn't stopped sulking since we left.
We had a lovely time at the cottage. We had a bad smell come from one of the drains the day we got there but told the staff and this was sorted within a few minutes which was great. We loved hot tub and being close to looe. With the snow we had to stay at the cottage for one of the days as couldnt get out with the car and there didnt seem anywhere to walk nearby. We would def recommend though and was great value for money. The only thing i found with 2 crawling babies is that there was a lot of dog hair on the floor of the cottage which kept sticking to their hands and getting on toys etc

If you are looking for a fun family day out with a difference then a visit to the Hedgehog Hospital is a great choice. While visiting the hospital children can learn about these shy wild animals and the dangers they face in the wild as well as how we can help them. The farm is a halfway house for sick hedgehogs and children can meet some of the animals that are almost ready to go back to the wild. The farm also has a gift shop, a coffee shop and a wildlife garden as well as a pet's area with Rabbits and Guinea Pigs.
