Kilminorth Cottages Reviews

"We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was spotless and spacious, which was great. The hot tub was perfect-warm and clean-and we loved unwinding in it after days of sightseeing. Definitely a lovely, relaxing break!"
Emma - Mar 2025
"We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage! Its super well equipped - everything we needed was there. A tiny suggestion: some small baskets for storing socks and underwear in the wardrobe would be handy. We get space is tight, but a couple of baskets would make unpacking so much easier. Overall, lovely place and would happily come back!"
Emma T. - Feb 2025
"We stayed in a lovely cottage at a great off-season rate. Honestly, well never go back to caravans. Its the most dog-friendly place weve ever experienced, really impressive!"
James - Nov 2024
"Very peaceful stay, loved the cosy place!"
Emily - Oct 2024
"Our Kilminorth Cottages review: Kilminorth was lovely! Perfect for us and the dog. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a relaxed, dog-friendly holiday spot."
Sarah Johnson - Oct 2024
"We had such a lovely stay, the place was spotless and really charming."
Emma - Sep 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay at this cosy cottage. It was spotless and well-maintained and the private hot tub was a real treat-used it every day! Being close to the pool was perfect. The only minor hiccup was the shower steam triggering the alarm a couple of times, but overall, great experience!"
Oliver - Sep 2024
"We had an amazing week away! Theres so much to explore, it really flew by quicker than we wanted. Cant wait to return. Definitely recommend this holiday to anyone looking for a fun escape!"
Emma - Aug 2024
"We just got back from a really lovely stay at Queens Park Cottage in Kilminorth and honestly, were already thinking about coming back. Becky greeted us when we arrived and couldnt have been nicer, giving us a quick tour and making us feel right at home. The cottage itself was spotless and had everything we needed - three bedrooms, two doubles and a single, plus a bathroom with a shower. The open-plan living space with the galley kitchen was perfect for relaxing after a day out. We loved the private hot tub overlooking the shared garden - such a treat! The place even has a handy tablet for info and updates from the team, which was useful. The grounds are stunning, with beautifully maintained landscaping and the outdoor heated pool was a real highlight - so clean and inviting. Theres plenty to do nearby too; we enjoyed the tennis courts and borrowing rackets was easy. The outdoor bar was a nice touch, even if its only open now and then and we had fun playing table tennis outside. Inside, theres a laundry room with washers and dryers, plus a good selection of books, DVDs and games to keep everyone entertained. The location is great - less than ten minutes from Looe and Polperro, so plenty of sights and things to do. Just a heads up, the road leading to Kilminorth is quite narrow, so be prepared to reverse into passing spots. Its a peaceful rural spot, so dont expect much noise, which was perfect for us. Make sure you follow their directions because sat nav can be a bit off. We also caught the pasty and pint event in their outdoor marquee and it was fantastic - Sarahs pasties from Looe, a nice pint on draft and Polperro Wreckers singing sea shanties. All in all, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again!"
Alex - Jul 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, nice and snug atmosphere."
Emma - Jun 2024
"Lovely stay, would definitely return soon"
Emma - Jun 2024
"Really enjoyed the stay, would recommend it!"
Emma Roberts - Jun 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay! The grounds were stunning and perfect for relaxing walks. The hot tub was great but would have loved some cover for rainy days. Also, a frying pan and a soap holder in the shower would be handy additions. Still, lovely overall!"
Emma - Apr 2024
"Great place, really modern and the staff were super friendly. Well definitely return!"
Harry - Apr 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay here, perfect spot for us and the pup!"
Emma - Mar 2024
"We stayed over New Years and honestly, it was great value for the price. The facilities were decent, though we couldnt find an iron or ironing board, but honestly, it wasnt a big deal-if we needed one, Im sure the staff wouldve sorted it out. The location is about a 10-minute drive from Looe, which was fine. The staff, especially Becky and Jayne, were super friendly and sorted us taxis last minute on NYE. We all had a relaxed weekend and enjoyed the hot tub. Would definitely recommend and summer walks sound lovely too!"
Jamie - Jan 2024
"We loved our stay again! The cottage is charming, comfy and perfect for a getaway."
Harper - Nov 2023
"We had such a lovely stay at the cottage! Everything was spotless and well thought out, which made us feel really comfortable. Jane and the team went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after - nothing was too much trouble. Looe is a cracking town, much calmer than Padstow but with all the essentials. Were already planning to return and bring more friends next time. Absolutely loved it!"
Emma - Nov 2023
"We had a lovely stay at the cottage - it was super cosy, really clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The location is just breathtaking, perfect for a quick dog walk or relaxing with a drink outside. The grounds are gorgeous, ideal for wandering or chilling out. The pool was a bit chilly, thanks to the weather, but still a nice touch. Looe was a good walk through the woodl and, quite hilly but totally worth it! Plenty to do nearby, like Polperro or a boat trip to Fowey or Looe Isl and. Wed definitely recommend it to friends and family!"
Alex - Nov 2023
"We always love staying here, it truly feels like a escape."
Emma - Oct 2023
"Honestly, I dont even know where to start because we had such a lovely time. The cottages are beautifully kept and just have this warm, homely vibe that instantly makes you relax. The grounds are huge - perfect for walking the dogs, kids, or just some quiet time alone. The staff really stood out; super friendly and welcoming. They even went out of their way for our dog, which was so thoughtful. We got a knock on the door with a little dog care package - a feeding bowl, towel, poo bags, treats, dog soap and a collar tag with all the cottage info. The location is great too, just a quick 7-minute drive into Looe. And if youre visiting, Martins bakery is a must - their bread is honestly the best. Were already planning to come back next year!"

Bal - Jul 2022
"Its my first time at the cottage but my friends who i went with have been five times before and i can see why the place is stunning the staff are all happy and professional. The cottages are spacious clean homely and well equipped. The hot tub is cleaned twice a day and is amazing the views and grounds are stunning and kept to an extremely high standard . I cannot comment on the pool because i never used it but again looked great. I cannot fault this cottage at all and would definitely return."
Gary - Jul 2022
"The cottages are set in a stunning rural setting, with the only noise being the birds and sheep! The cottage itself was spotless when we arrived and had all the necessities we needed for our stay. An added bonus was the private hot tub which was a great way to unwind after a full day of exploring the Cornish countryside. We didn't take advantage of the outdoor pool due to the hot tub but it did look very inviting! Would definitely stay here again."

Benjamin - Jul 2022
"We had the best time ever, and 100% will be returning! The staff were so helpful, and the amenities and surrounding area was spot on. There’s so many cottages to choose from! It was the perfect dog friendly holiday. ?"
Josie - Jun 2022
"A beautiful cottage in a splendid setting. Gorgeous views from every room. Some areas of cleaning could be improved but generally very good. Didn’t see anyone at all - they tried to close the pool early for no apparent reason and the bar was sporadically open. Overall though I would go back there because the beauty of the surroundings is well worth the small Cornish lane down to it."
