Where's Meadow Lakes Holiday Park?
Kayleigh, Farnborough
Date of stay: 9th July 2018
The lodge was great. It was big enough and spacious for 8 people to stay without feeling on top of each other
Brin, Alfreton, Derbyshire
Date of stay: 7th July 2018
Our accommodation was a little "tired" and smaller than expected. There was very little storage space in the kitchen area.
Our biggest criticism is that there were no nets at the windows which meant having to close the curtains for privacy.
Janet, Tamworth
Date of stay: 7th July 2018
it was good value for money and very peaceful. The only thing my husband would have liked was somewhere to put his fishing tackle, we did leave a suggestion that lockers by the caravans would be good
Lesley, Radstock
Date of stay: 7th July 2018
Beautiful caravan
Amanda, Somerset
Date of stay: 6th July 2018
Farmhouse was great but we stay last year so we knew it would be , some additional items this year washing machine and dry very useful thank you
Jill, Wirral
Date of stay: 30th June 2018
The caravan itself was very spacious and well-appointed but appeared to be showing signs of age. The only reason I have given a fairly low score for the overall rating is because other sites offer caravans which appear to be more modern with more ornate fixtures and fittings for around the same weekly charge. Otherwise I would not hesitate to stay at Meadow Lakes again in the future
Gwyneth, Warrington
Date of stay: 23rd June 2018
The upholstery in the lounge was a little tired and worn but this was only to be expected. It was perfectly clean as were the kitchen and other rooms. The welcome packs of wash up liquid etc were particularly helpful
Keith, Foston

Date of stay: 16th September 2017
The only detractors were the dead flies caught up in the curtain headings and two lights not working from start to finish of the holiday and concerns about carbon monoxide alarms not fitted. We assumed they were necessary as they had been supplied.
John, Bexleyheath, Kent
Date of stay: 8th September 2017
Can't fault it.

Date of stay: 19th August 2017
The caravan was lovely. It was clearly an older van as it was pet friendly but it suited us and was very clean and comfortable.
Philippa, Ipswich
Date of stay: 18th August 2017
This is such a lovely site with a lovely local pub not too far away.

It was a little too far from beaches than we would have liked but gave us the opportunity to explore areas of Cornwall that we haven't previously.
Alison, Basingstoke
Date of stay: 18th August 2017
just needs a little bit of tlc on the outside, and the bench on our veranda wasn't very good, needs replacing,

Date of stay: 14th July 2017
Immaculately clean modern static caravan. Spacious shower room and ensuite. Lots of room could quite happily stay inside if there was nothing to do which unfortunately there is, so didnt spend all day inside! Good working facilities cooker, sink, shower. Came with cleaning equipment for he kitchen and a couple of loo rolls which was a bonus as we forgot!
Tracey, Nottingham
Date of stay: 14th July 2017
all in all a fabulous break :-)
Andrew, Ryde Iow
Date of stay: 8th July 2017
Our caravan was comfortable and clean and the beds gave a good night's sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was fantastic but the changing room less so. The floor, when wet, was quite slippery. Next time I'll wear sandals and go back to the caravan to change. I sincerely hope there will be a 'next time'.
Amy, Halesowen

Date of stay: 16th July 2016

Guenther, Dingwall Scotland
Date of stay: 16th July 2016
Caravan was very clean and tidy well maintained.
Deborah, Adelaide
Date of stay: 11th July 2016
The only downside was the caravan we stayed in had no cleaning supplies for dishes - no detergent, sponges or tea towels. We were told this is standard for the budget van but considering all the cutlery and dishes were provided, it seemed odd not to have a small amount of supplies to keep them clean! Travelling from overseas we did not have these items on hand and had to purchase them which was inconvenient. If you're a regular visitor who is aware of the arrangement then it won't be a problem as you can bring your own from home.
Neil, Southampton
Date of stay: 25th June 2016

A good sized comfortable lodge but could do with a few table lamps to subdue the stark lighting to give it a more cosy feeling at night time.
Kayleigh, Newcastle Upon Tyne
Date of stay: 16th May 2016
The garden cottage was beautiful and well equipped. The place was absolutely immaculate when we arrived. Bed was comfy and central heating was a added benefit.

Date of stay: 30th October 2015
we were a little nervous about staying in a caravan as it was the cheaper option, but we were pleasantly surprised, the caravan was very clean and had everything for our stay. The only thing that we found a little tricky was the oven, but after a couple try's we got used to it. We would stay in the caravan again, and would recommend to other families.
Terence, Earls Colne Esex

We have been to Meadow lakes 5 times now for a short break with our dog and cannot fault the park for peace and tranquillity. There is no club or amusement arcade and this is why we love it

Good accommodation for families. If I was to be picky it would be nice to have a wipeable floor in the dining area which would make it easier to clean up after small children!

Date of stay: 20th October 2014
A bit short on kitchen equipment, i.e. a few more saucepans, etc. Also the grill pan is not the right one for the model of cooker (or the shelf is missing) - makes it tricky to use
Geraldine, Kent
Date of stay: 20th September 2014
Many large black spiders, wondered if there was a nest nearby. Fine for me but not so for my sreaming sister!

Meadow lakes is a lovely site. The caravan was spotless and very comfortable, it felt more like a house than a caravan. The site was clean, had excellent facilities and staff were very welcoming. I will definatley return here with the family.

Date of stay: 28th July 2014
Had a lovely stay at Meadow Lakes. Was ideally based for Eden project but also managed to venture to Falmouth, Lizard Point, Lands End, StMichaels Mount etc which were all an easily manageable drive from here. The caravan was immaculate and the staff friendly. Only thing would be for those that require use of the pool, it is out door so wouldn't be open all year round.

Date of stay: 7th June 2014
This was a very quiet site, and although they state a takeaway, it was a mobile van that wasn't always open. Caravan was lovely, but would have benefitted with the outside area neater, with some garden furniture to sit out on. Overall the site was ideal fir those wanting peace and quiet.
Jennifer, New Romney
Date of stay: 30th May 2014

Date of stay: 17th May 2014
We had a lovely 2 weeks holiday at Meadow Lakes. The Osprey 3 caravan is very new. It is spotlessly clean and tidy inside, equipped with flat screen TV and DVD player. The gas stove worked very well, however the gas oven was unreliable and very slow. The shower is brilliant and powerful. We really enjoyed our stay.
B, Callington
Date of stay: 25th April 2014
Very clean and had all we needed with the added bonus of being able to take the dog.
Andrew, Leigh
Date of stay: 18th April 2014
Lodge was absolutely lovely. Very clean and tidy. Staff were extremely helpful when trying to book to go the Eden Project. Location was a bit in the middle of nowhere so you definitely need to drive to get around! All in all had a great time and would book to go here again as we have family not too far away so it's a good base when we are visiting!
Vernon, Lydney
Date of stay: 27th December 2013
great, what more can you say
Adrian
I took this location purely as a base for touring around for a few days and it is ideal for that. The actual site is in early days development so its not as polished as some but as a whole is good. I'd have no worries about going back there again, as the staff were fantastic and couldn't help enough.
Sue
Beautiful peaceful park perfect for relaxing.
Maureen
