Primrose Lodge at 25 Roadford Lake Lodges Reviews

Keith - Apr 2025
Our lodge was very modern, excellently equipped and beautifully clean with comfortable beds. The hot tub such a lovely way to relax and unwind. It was checked every day and is emptied at the end of each stay. The site is also very well maintained and is in a beautiful location alongside a really stunning lake with walks and cycle trails you can directly access through side gates. We hope to return again.
Chris - Oct 2024
This is a Great location, lovely lodge and clean, it has good WiFi and Perfect for short breaks.
Charlotte - Aug 2024
We had a wonderful stay here. The lodge was lovely, clean and spacious and had everything we needed-it is like home from home and beautifully decorated. Loved having the hot tub, such a luxury. It was lovely and quiet even though there seemed to be a lot of people staying there, which was nice in the evenings when chilling in the hot tub! Lots of things to do close by. There was a lovely farm shop about 10 minutes up the road. They do lovely meals there too. Bude was about an hour away so we had a couple of trips there. Nice little park by the lake which we went to in the evenings. And the cafe does a lovely ice cream! We will definitely be back again one day. Loved it and so did the kids!
Julie - Aug 2024
We had a lovely stay in Primrose. Perfect for 2 couples with 2 ensuite bedrooms either end of the property. This was our 2nd stay at Roadford Lakes which is lovely quiet & very well kept site. We will definitely visit again.
Susan - Aug 2024
Perfect holiday helped by 5 days of sunshine. Would highly recommend the accommodation. Our 2 teenagers loved the activities on the lake and excursions to Bude and the Eden project - kept us busy but being able to chill out in the hot tub was an added bonus. We will definitely visit again.
Benjamin - Jun 2024
We took our little boy to his first mini holiday, and it disappoint. Very relaxing, and so much wildlife and amazing things to do, the lodge site was fantastic with amazing little walk ways close by and a beautiful lake and beautiful cafe close. The lodge itself was amazing, very clean and absolutely stunning. The hot tub also fantastic, will definitely be coming back to the site in the future, also customer service by luxury coastal was fantastic.
Maureen - May 2024
Absolutely delighted with the lodge, well equipped and spotless and in a lovely location. Would certainly recommend it and would stay again.
Joseph - May 2024
Have had such a lovely holiday, we even extended it for a few more days, stayed with two children and two dogs and it was lovely, very spacious and clean and with everything you need. The hot tub was amazing and stayed clean the full week we stayed. Will definitely be back very soon.
Colin - Apr 2024
Lovely lodge and well equipped and enjoyed our stay even though it rained all week. It would have been a nice personal touch to have had a welcome pack.
Sally - Feb 2024
What a beautiful lodge Primrose is. A hidden gem! Everything we needed and more was provided for our short stay here, we were a party of two couples and two dogs. Spotlessly clean, lovely and warm and such comfortable furniture. Wellies are advised. The lake and cafe were great to walk out to.
Nicola - Jan 2024
Having booked with Luxury Coastal, we have had extremely good service with regard to our booking. Thoroughly recommend. We decided to go away for Christmas this year with our two dogs. We chose Primrose Cottage as it appeared to be the perfect accommodation for us and it did not disappoint one bit. Upon arrival we found a lovely Hamper awaiting us, a Christmas tree in situ and accommodation that was tastefully decorated. I am very picky when it comes to detail, but I was delighted with our booking.
Andrew - Nov 2023
It was the perfect winter get away, we have already booked for next year. Its location is just perfect.
Jacobus - Aug 2023
Luxury lodge fully equipped. Located on a well maintained park. Washing machine in lodge has a dry function, ideal for washing towels. Minus point was the very sparse kitchen inventory, 5 breakfast plates, 5 dinner plates, 3 small sauce pans to prepare dinner, rather impossible for a 4 persons lodge.
Joan - Aug 2023
Everything was lovely the lodges were absolutely beautiful plenty to do on site nice walking areas the only think we missed was a local pub the closest is 9 miles away.
Angela - Jul 2023
The lodge was amazing exactly like it looked on the website. Everything you could think of was there, beautiful location for walks around the lake. Very spacious, clean, could have stayed for much longer.
Steve - Jun 2023
Excellent accommodation very clean and plenty of space every thing you require is available would definitely re-book.
Googie - Apr 2023
Roadford Lake could be an amazing place, great setting but not quite as expected. Service & Support were lacking. When things like Wi-Fi don't work (with teenagers), need to be able to ask someone to help but there was never anyone in reception to assist.
Giles - Apr 2023
The house itself is a fine-finish, modern prefab home and is very comfortable. The lake is beautiful with a variety of walks and paths. Strawberry Fields farm shop is an absolute must for local food supplies - very high quality products.
