About Seven Springs

looking for a tranquil countryside escape with your loved ones? Seven Springs park in Llanon, mid Wales is just the perfect getaway you need. Located about 5 miles away from the beautiful Georgian town of Aberaeron, this park with a low lodge density provides a perfect setting to enjoy the peace and quiet of the majestic Welsh countryside.

With picture-worthy views over Cardigan Bay and the Cambrian mountains, the luxury lodges in Seven Springs let you truly experience nature at its best. The proximity to the coast and with the coastal village of Llanon being just a mile away, this holiday park is the perfect place to bring your children or your furry friend along to spend quality family time together.

For the perfect romantic retreat, we definitely recommend the Cader Idris Lodge. Equipped with a spacious master bedroom, an open plan kitchen, dining area and living room this lodge also has direct access to a private garden and outdoor hot-tub and BBQ. Whereas, The Island View House, which sleeps 6 and has a large living room, well equipped kitchen and dining area, a walled private garden with a hot tub and BBQ is the perfect place to spend quality time with your family catching up or with your friends reminiscing about old times.

The convenient location of the park gives you the perfect excuse to spend the day doing various activities like archery, rock climbing, kayaking or canoeing at the Llandsul Paddlers canoe centre. The close proximity to Aberaeron also gives you a chance to enjoy the great events that happen there like the Carnival with Jazz bands, Fish festival or the Sailing Regatta. The day can also be spent exploring the Devil’s Bridge falls to see the site that inspired William Wordsworth’s poem “Torrent at the Devil’s Bridge” or fishing at one of the lakes on site in the park.

Seven Springs Reviews

"We had a really nice stay at Isl and View. The place was spotless and super comfy, making it easy to relax. The warm welcome with prosecco and local biscuits was a lovely touch! The hot tub was definitely a highlight and got plenty of use from us all. The garden was practical rather than fancy, but still a pleasant spot to unwind. It would be great if they added more tall plants to screen the work area from view, just for a bit more privacy."
Laura - Feb 2025
"Lovely stay, the lodge was comfy and well kitted out too."
Sam - Nov 2024
"We had an amazing time at Cader Idris! Honestly, the lodge was gorgeous, spotless and fully kitted out - everything we needed. The hot tub was such a treat after a day out, super warm and relaxing. Terry really went above and beyond, sending us all the info beforeh and, giving us a call before we arrived and even leaving a bottle of Prosecco for us - such a lovely touch! The location was perfect, so peaceful with breathtaking views, really made the trip special. The only tiny gripe was the bedroom curtains let in quite a bit of early morning light, but its not a big deal. Huge thanks to Terry and everyone at Seven Springs, well definitely be back!"
Harper - Nov 2024
"Beautiful place, highly recommend it"
Emily Carter - Sep 2024
"Our Seven Springs review: Great spot, super well-kept. Terry, the friendly gardener, really helped us out. Well definitely be back soon!"
Oliver - Sep 2024
"We had an amazing stay at this lodge! The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil you could think of, making cooking a breeze. The place was spotless and super comfy. Loved relaxing in the hot tub with that lovely pond and sea view. The welcome treats of prosecco and biscuits were a nice touch. Cant wait to come back!"
Clara - Aug 2024
"From the moment we arrived, Cader Idris felt really welcoming. The place was spotless and had all the essentials. The hot tub was a real highlight, so relaxing! Beautiful surroundings too. Would definitely recommend."
Martin - Feb 2024
"We recently spent a lovely weekend at Cader Idris and honestly, it was just what we needed. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of the coast that made the walk to the nearby village an absolute pleasure. The walk itself was so scenic, it felt like we could have stayed there forever. We didn't feel the need to venture further afield because everything we wanted was right on our doorstep. The little village was charming, perfect for a short stroll and some local treats. The cabin itself was spotlessly clean and really well equipped. It had all the essentials - cups, plates, cutlery and even a dishwasher and washing machine which came in handy. The bed was super comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. We especially enjoyed the outside area; the sunshine, the BBQ and dipping into the hot tub made for some really relaxing evenings. Just a tip - dont forget to bring your own salt and pepper, as these werent provided.Terry, the host, was fantastic. He checked in with us before arrival and on the morning of check-in, which we appreciated. We only had one minor issue - the BBQ wasnt particularly clean after the last guest - but Terry came straight out to clean it, which was very much appreciated. He was really friendly and helpful throughout.A little mishap with the neighbours: their bacon frying in the morning set off the smoke alarm because its linked to ours. It was a bit startling at 7:30am, but at least it was a safety thing. Do be aware that the cabin is divided into two halves, so noise can travel a bit. We heard some conversations from the other side and the walls are quite close. The neighbours bacon incident was a funny story afterward, though! All in all, this is a peaceful, beautiful park perfect for a romantic or relaxing break. We even spoke to some local owners who live there part of the year and absolutely love it. Were definitely planning to come back - its a real gem!"
Harriet - Nov 2023
"Honestly, we werent expecting much, but Hoseseason turned out to be quite a pleasant surprise-especially with the washing machine now included, which wasnt mentioned before. The location is fantastic, perfect for jogging with those hills leading up to the lodge and lovely coastal walks nearby. We really appreciated the fast WiFi and the overall peaceful vibe. That said, calling it luxury might be a stretch; the kitchen was pretty basic and we found a half-broken chopping board that no one bothered to replace. The owner said hed pop in to say hello, but that never happened-he just checked his emails and left. Communication was a bit patchy after the initial call and we were left unsure about how to access the lodge. Also, the rubbish situation wasnt great-everything went into one bin and were not sure if they sort recycling at the depot. Despite those minor things, we enjoyed the space and the surroundings. Would recommend if youre after some peace and coastal scenery, just a few things to think about."
Emma - Nov 2023
"We had a lovely stay at this lodge, really can't fault the location and the facilities are top-notch. The views over the sea are absolutely stunning and the place is so well-equipped - honestly, it had everything we could think of, from all kinds of utensils to a huge spice cupboard, which was a nice touch. The nearby pub, The White Swan, was a real highlight with fantastic food that exceeded expectations. The walk into town was a bit of a trek - uphill all the way back, so be prepared for that if youre planning to go often. The only downside was the verandah area where the hot tub was. Sadly, the fascia, soffits and cladding on the front facing side were covered in cobwebs and spiders, which looked a bit unkempt for such a beautiful lodge. A quick 10-minute clean would have made a big difference here. Inside, we noticed a few more spiders and webs in the corners - again, just a bit of extra attention needed. The hot tub itself was fantastic but wasnt cleaned during our week-long stay and we didnt see any tablets being added to keep it fresh. Overall though, this was a fab holiday spot and we'd definitely come back - with a little more cleaning, it would be absolutely perfect!"
Claire - Nov 2023
"We recently spent three lovely nights in June at the Cader Idris lodge with my partner and our dog. From the moment we arrived, there was no fuss - we were shown straight to our accommodation and greeted with a nice bottle of fizz and some biscuits, which was a lovely touch. The lodge itself was stunning, spotlessly clean and decorated really nicely. The bed was huge and super comfy, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. It's actually a semi-detached lodge, so it felt very private and we didnt hear a peep from neighbours. The outdoor space was secure and perfect for our dog to roam freely. The hot tub was a real treat, especially with the lovely weather we had - we even fired up the BBQ twice! The outdoor area gets loads of sun, which we loved. While there arent many facilities on site, its ideal for a peaceful, romantic break. We also explored Aberaeron and Aberystwyth, which werent far away. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!"
Ellie - Sep 2023
"Really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful lodge. Its perfect for relaxing, but a fan in the bedroom wouldve made it even better during those sunny days. Still, lovely place overall!"
Mark - Jun 2023
"Honestly, we had such a lovely stay! From the moment we arrived, Terry greeted us with warmth and a thoughtful welcome pack-biscuits and Prosecco, yum! The lodge looks even better in real life than the photos suggest; its stunning and nestled in such gorgeous surroundings. Its perfect if youre after peace and quiet. The weather was fantastic, so we didnt feel the need to go anywhere, which was a real bonus. The lodge is well-equipped, with a washing machine and all the toiletries you could need-shampoo, conditioner, soaps-everything was provided. Its definitely high-spec and super comfortable. Were really hoping to come back soon because it was just that good!"
Jessie - May 2023
"Great spot for a peaceful stay, perfect for exploring Wales. Fully equipped and comfy!"
John - Dec 2019
"We had a lovely stay at the Cambrian Retreat, a semi-detached lodge with stunning views over the park. The place is really well thought out and comfy, though we did find the heating a bit tricky to manage - it was quite warm at first, but opening the double doors sorted it out. The hot tub was definitely a highlight, we even enjoyed it in the rain! All in all, a pretty great experience!"
Alex - Nov 2019
"We had such a lovely stay at High View! Steve, the owner, was incredibly helpful from the moment we booked right through to check-out. The place itself is super relaxing and perfectly situated to explore nearby towns. Definitely adding this to our list for future holidays. Couldnt ask for more!"
James - Oct 2019
"Really enjoyed our stay, peaceful countryside was just what we needed."
Jamie - Oct 2019
"Even though it's not the peak season, our two weeks here were fantastic. Great spot to explore all around Wales. Brilliant trip!"
David - Sep 2019
"If we could move the park closer to our favourite beaches we’d never go anywhere else, and would look to buy in the future."
Jemma - Jul 2022
"We were incredibly lucky with the weather and we’re able to watch a beautiful sunset each evening and even went down to Aberaeron to watch it on our last evening. Highly recommend and will be booking again"
Alex - Jul 2022
"Superb quality lodges, extremely quiet park for peaceful get away."
David - Jul 2022
"Lovely lodge with everything you could want in a very quiet and relaxing resort. The resort was what we wanted. Minimal facilities, but what we wanted was there. will return for the peace. Beautiful."
Paul - Jun 2022
"A fantastic holiday home with everything and more. It felt very much like a home from home and in a great location. We are already planning our return and would highly recommend!"
Gemma - May 2022
"A modern lodge with lovely surroundings. Great to see the nature thriving there also. Staff were great."
Jack - May 2022
"We had a lovely time, took the wrong turn at first but friendly neighbours helped us. Nice and quite relaxing break"
Kyah - May 2022
"Really enjoyed our weekend in the Cader Idris. Lodge was very clean larger than the photos and has a private enclosed garden with a hotub which was perfect as we were able to safely let our dog out We were greeted by Terry and a bottle of processo and biscuits. In other lodges I've been you feel like you can't relax as the park managers normally greet you with dos and donts the only thing Terry told us to do is have a relaxing weekend and enjoy ourselves Will definatly return beautiful site and quiet everything is there what you need like a home away from home Thank you so much for our peaceful stay enjoyed it so much"
Kerrie - May 2022
"We have had the most wonderful break at Seven Springs. Beautiful views and very tranquil. The house was very clean and had everything we needed (including a bottle of fizz on arrival). Placed in a perfect little village with a shop and fish and chip shop. Perfect position for visiting Aberaeron, New Quay and Aberystwyth. Also due to the walled outside area we could take our dog with no worries of him escaping. We will be back."
Samantha - Apr 2022
"We absolutely LOVED our trip to Seven Springs. We couldn’t have been more thrilled with our entire trip, the lodge was beautiful, clean and well equipped, the hottub was fabulous and warm for when we got to the lodge, Terry was an absolute star, sending us everything we needed to know, phoning us before arrival and even left a bottle of Prosecco for us to enjoy. The location was spot on, so peaceful and the views were sensational. Our only one tiny thing was the curtains in the bedroom in our lodge let in a lot of light, we are early risers anyway but something to consider. Thank you so much to Terry and the team at Seven Springs x"
Ellie - Mar 2022
"We stayed in the Cambrian retreat lodge and we found it was incredibly relaxing! The lodge itself was fully kitted out with everything you could think of! There was even a washing machine and dishwasher! it was really modern and clean, the only thing we did find was due to the amazing weather, once the heat had come into the lodge, it stayed. Meaning it was really hot through the night. The location was really good, very close to nearby towns - would deffo need a car if coming here. Overall had a really positive experience and already thinking of booking again :)"

When the weather is nice this attraction is perfect as you can wander around and admire the superb range of exotic trees and shrubs.  They look different at different times of the year but one of the most popular times to see them is in Autumn.  With various events throughout the year such as Apple Weekend there is always something new to experience.  You can watch a 90 second film about this attraction on their website which is excellent.
