Wide Horizons Holiday Park Reviews

"Really enjoyed our week in November, the caravan was warm and super comfy!>"
Emma - Nov 2024
"Honestly, we were pretty disappointed. The hot tub water looked cloudy and the filter didnt seem to be doing its job. The jets surrounds kept falling out and the carpet inside the lodge was desperately in need of a good clean. Not what we expected at all."
Emma Carter - Nov 2024
"We had a fantastic stay at the lodge! The view from the steps is truly breathtaking and sets the tone for the whole place. Mary was lovely and took us on a tour, which really helped us appreciate everything. The open-plan living area feels so airy and welcoming and the kitchen is well-equipped with everything you could need, including a washing machine - great for longer stays. The bedroom is gorgeous, with a bath right in the room, perfect for a romantic getaway. Wed definitely come back!"
Emma - Nov 2024
"We recently spent a lovely long weekend at this lodge and it was just what we needed for some peace and quiet. The place was spotless and had everything we could ask for, including a dishwasher and washer/dryer which was a nice surprise. The internet connection was reliable, which is always a plus. The bath in the bedroom was a lovely touch and relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings was perfect. The lodge was warm and cosy and the views from the site are absolutely stunning. We can't wait to come back!"
Rachel - Sep 2024
"Our Wide Horizons Holiday Park review: The upgrade was a real bonus for us since our original caravan was being fixed. The new one was modern, spotless and had stunning sea views from the deck. We loved it!"
Emma - Jul 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay. The caravan had stunning sea views, which made it extra special. The kitchen was fully equipped with new gear, including a pizza tray - handy! Only downside was the bed, which was a bit lumpy and some caravans only offer partial sea views, so check before booking."
Emma Harper - May 2024
"Comfortable, tidy and just what we needed"
Olivia - Apr 2024
"We just got back from a wonderful trip! Our caravan, Smugglers Cove 1, was spotless and had a fantastic view of the sea. Its only a couple of minutes drive to Aberaeron town centre, making it a perfect spot to explore. Well be booking again for sure!"
Emma Carter - Nov 2023
"The location is stunning with breathtaking views, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Can't wait to return!"
Rachel - Nov 2023
"We loved the peaceful vibe of the site, it was just so calming! The caravan was super comfy and had everything we needed, plus those lovely sea views as promised. Wi-Fi worked well and towels were provided, which was handy. Only thing missing was a cheese grater and a sharper potato peeler, but no big deal. The local supermarket was just 3 mins drive and Aberaeron was easy to reach, either by car or a 25-minute coastal walk. Plenty to do nearby, like dolphin trips from New Quay - highly recommend!"
Emma Roberts - Nov 2023
"Really enjoyed our stay, staff were super helpful and the location is spot on! Definitely coming back."
James - Nov 2023
"We had an amazing time! The caravan was super clean and the scenery was simply stunning. Mary was so welcoming and friendly. Aberaeron really is a hidden treasure. We can't wait to come back!"
Emma - Nov 2023
"Really pleased with the new lodge setup."
Emma - Nov 2023
"The lodge was really cosy and the views were stunning, although a bit breezy. Its a quiet spot, perfect for relaxing away from the hustle. we loved it!"
Emma Carter - Nov 2023
"We stayed in a lovely, spotless static home with breathtaking views. Having a car was essential for grabbing supplies and exploring nearby spots. Our grandkids were also on-site in another static, which was great. The only downside was the lack of a playground, but it seems one might be coming soon. Were already thinking about coming back next year!"
Rachel Turner - Oct 2023
"We had such a lovely stay! The views from the caravan were stunning and it was super cosy and clean. The site was peaceful, perfect for relaxing and just a quick drive to Newquays busy spots. Honestly, its a great little escape if you want some quiet time away from it all."
Emma - Oct 2023
"We really enjoyed our stay in the caravan. It was super comfy and spotless, with the beds already made up and towels provided, which was a nice touch. The view of the sea was stunning! Access to the coastal path was a breeze, so we could explore easily. Only thing missing was a small shop or cafe on site, but overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely consider booking again. Lovely place!"
Emma T. - Jul 2023
"We recently stayed here and honestly, we were quite pleased. The caravan was super comfy and clean and it was a nice surprise to find towels and WiFi included, even though it wasnt clearly mentioned on the site! The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful without being intrusive, which was much appreciated. Our first impression of the site was a bit different from what we expected - it looked a lot busier than the pictures suggested, which was a bit misleading. Walking around the caravans wasnt exactly a scenic stroll, especially with the sea view being the highlight, but it was still nice to have that nearby. Access to the coast path was a bit tricky, over a dodgy stile and down a steep grassy slope, but the walks in both directions were lovely, if a little steep in places. The bus stop was about ten minutes walk, with no proper path, but the driver kindly dropped us right outside the park. We really enjoyed our stay, the area is lovely and the nearest sandy beach is at New Quay. Would definitely come back!"
Emma - Jun 2023
"Had a lovely break, peaceful spot with stunning sea views. The caravan was super comfy and really clean - wed definitely return!"

"Mary was so welcoming and chatty, really made us feel at home. The views were stunning and the room was spotless. Definitely recommend this place! Cheers!"
James - Jul 2020
"We really loved the place, but having a table and chairs on the decking wouldve made it perfect for outdoor sittings. Apart from that, honestly, we couldnt find anything to complain about at all."
David - Jul 2020
"Nice enough, but its pretty bare without an extra chair or two."
Emma - Feb 2020
"Really enjoyed my stay here! The place was super clean and comfy. Staff were friendly and welcoming-definitely coming back soon!"
