Ladram Bay Holiday Park Reviews

"The lodge was perfect for our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children). The lodge came with a hot tub which was an added bonus. Amenities were what we would expect and it was in a perfect location with its own parking."
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"We stayed with our girls 4 nights, everything was great! Excellent facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend"
Ana - Apr 2024
"Caravan very clean . Spacious and good value for money. Could do with some more utensils. The bowls were small just about fit cereals in them. Personally I always want a teapot!"
Lindsay - Apr 2024
"Our first caravan holiday season once childhood and we were totally amazed by the whole experience. The cleanliness of the whole site was perfect as was the attention to detail given by the reception staff, making our check in one of the best ever!! Our 5yr old granddaughter had an amazing time and as a family we are looking forward to coming back soon ."
Sue - Apr 2024
"Pretty good for the money & likely age of the accommodation."
Dan - Mar 2024
"Lovely apartment. The only letdown was the smell outside of the front door. It wasnt overpowering but there was an unpleasant smell of sewage (or something like that).Didnt spoil things at all though????"
Jonathan - Nov 2023
"The apartment was noisy during the night so after two nights were moved to caravan the staff were excellent"
Cheryl - Nov 2023
"Spacious and comfortable, well equipped."
Ginny - Nov 2023
"Lodge was beautiful, few maintenance bits and bobs but nothing to complain about. Knives not very sharp and not a lot of selection. Only downside we had was we could not use the ensuite as in the double room there wasn't any room for our travel cot so it was sqeezed between the bed and door."
Becki - Nov 2023
"bed sheets were a little stained in places which wasn't a huge issue and we may have missed the chopping board"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Caravan lovely and clean, we had no issues in ours. Sofa bed is not comfortable at all but then I dont think any sofa bed is so we just used the sofa as the extra bed rather than pull out the bed. Shower was amazing, very powerful and hot. This place has beautiful views, not to far from the shops only around 15minutes and also 20 minutes drive from the beach."
Sarah - Nov 2023
"Vans very comfortable So much storage space, beds very comfortable, so clean and well looked after. I would recommend brining own pillows as the covers do slip off and leave you with the plastic type covering."
Kate - Nov 2023
"Caravan dirty - last people's razors left behind. Dirty shower. Old food (pizza, limes, jalapeos) around the hot tub, decking surrounding hot tub filthy, green with moss. Cant believe these arent jet washed clean? Site is lovely, beach views walks amazing. Swimming pool was lovely! Loved ladram bay, just a massive shame how filthy our caravan and decking was. Checked in late in the day after a long drive lovely young blonde girl (don't remember her name) gave us a Teddy for my daughter."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Caravan was very over priced for what it was. Decking around the hot tub was unstable,"
Gemma - Nov 2023
"This is our 2nd Visit to Ladram Bay Probably one of the best Holiday Parks,You can not beat the Private Beach. We got the Diamond Caravan and we loved the Hot tub. The Bedrooms are basic, however the Living room has a nice set out and is comfortable, it also has a Dishwasher. The swimming Pool facilities are amazing it has a Steam room and Sauna you get an hour a day sometimes it gets crowded. If you want to get a seat at the entertainment you need to get there for 6.00. The climbing wall was closed not sure they had enough staff in the Arcade. The drink prices are very expensive £10 Cocktail and £5 other drinks."
Susannah - Nov 2023
"Towel hooks and bins would be helpful"
Rebecca - Nov 2023
"The caravan was brilliant! It was a nice feature to have a balcony and we were lucky to have nice weather so eat out looking over to the sea."
Natalie - Nov 2023
"Bad. Stink of dog, couple of hour after entering the caravan. Spraying aerosol by the cleaner does not help. Duvet stink of dog smells. Disappointed!!"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"First time in Devon and we could not of asked for a better place .The hole place is spotless .the staff a very welcoming and great you with a smile and a hello .we will certainly be back next year"
Alan - Nov 2023
"Grandchildren loved the fact that they could venture out on their own, very safe environment. Loved to explore the park. Beach very well managed."
Verified Guest - Sep 2023
"Dolphin lodge does not have any Wi-Fi. Where it is located there is no o2 signal either. Needs to have Wi-Fi installed"
Claire - Jun 2023
"Good quality family accommodation which is very practical. A 2nd shower in the en-suite would have made it perfect!!"
Lesley - Aug 2020
"definitely will be back."
Sonia - Aug 2020
"Terrible Wi Fi do not bother to pay £20 for password complained to reception on 2 occasions"
Karen - Aug 2020
"Loved it at Ladram Bay. Clean, safe and relaxed. Only marked down by 1 point as the provision of bath towels would have been a bonus."
Christine - Aug 2020
"The caravan was great and just what we needed. The only one area that we struggled with was the checkout time of 9am. We fully understood why to allow for the extra cleaning time, but with 3 young children it took away from some of the time we would have had the day before."
David - Aug 2020
"Such a beautiful place with great facilities"
Verified Guest - Aug 2022
"Had a lovely holiday"
Surendra - Aug 2022
"Beautifully clean and tidy site even though it is a large site and is very close to the beach though that is very pebbley and quite painful to walk on, so if you`re after a nice sandy beach then Exmouth is only a short drive away. Saying that, it was nice to have some picnic benches on the beach to enjoy a picnic. Caravan was also spotless with everyday essentials for cooking supplied. Also a welcome pack of a tea towel, washing up sponge and washing up liquid. Beds and sofa were both comfortable and great to have a coffee table in the lounge area too. It was easy to book the use of the swimming pool though you aren`t able to do this until 24 hours before , but at the time we went we didn`t find this to be a problem and managed to swim everyday. You are allocated a full one hour which was perfect. The only criticism I have is that it would be nice to have some basic instructions on how to work the cooker. Ours was electric which I was quite happy with but having turned it on, found there to be no heat coming from it, this in turn tripped the elcetric and although maintenance were quick to come out they couldn`t resolve there and then. It turned out to be you have to turn the timer on, as well as the oven, which seemed odd, in order for the oven to work. Then adjust timer accordingly . We were given some gift vouchers to eat at one of the site food places to compensate but would have preferred money back for where we had eaten the night the cooker failed to work. We didn`t eat in the restaurant so can`t comment on it though fish and chip shop was nice."
Lindsay - Aug 2022
"We loved it here. Plenty to do, entertainment was brilliant. We booked again for next year."
Sarah - Aug 2022
"Fantastic, what more can I say"
Valerie - Jul 2022
"Beautiful place and lovely accommodation with hot tub.the hill to the beach was a workout very steep but it didnt spoil our holiday had a lovely time didnt want to go home."
Kate - Jul 2022
"Overall a good holiday. Location is excellent. Staff were OK. Didn't like the food at the restaurants."
Julie - Jul 2022
"We had one of our best holidays here, the site is perfect for us, we loved the private beach and water sports hire. The pool and splash zone were great. We brought our dog and there were plenty of places to take him for a walk. We drove over to Sidmouth and Exmouth both towns were lovely."
Jemma - Jul 2022
"Seating for adults in the children's play area is needed when supervising children playing."
Katie - Jul 2022
"Amazing location, beautiful views, very clean & tidy, great opportunity just to chill & relax"
Chris - Jul 2022
"Perfect location in every way Thank you everyone for making a wonderful stay And the weather was excellent as well !"
Susan - Jul 2022
"Great holiday spot with private beach, this is our second trip to Ladram Bay and we’ll definitely be back again!"
