About Landal Laceby Manor Pods

The Manor Resort Pods are a fantastic and charming collection of holiday pods sitting within the gorgeous grounds of a prestigious golf club called Laceby Manor.  Boutique in style they would suit anyone looking for a chic and contemporary stay in Lincolnshire.

We love the position of the pods hidden away in secret gardens and the location really has an 'away from it all' feel.   This is an area which has received an award for it's Outstanding Natural Beauty and you'll be well located to explore the stunning Lincolnshire Wolds.

You can also make use of the facilities within the golf club including of course golf,  the lovely club house and a la carte restaurant.  There is also a rustic round bar where you can enjoy a relaxing drink.

The Garden Pod VIP is a modern style pod with open plan living and comes with an outdoor hot tub and seating area with furniture.  Indoors the pod sleeps 2 and has a sofa, kitchen facilities and a wet room.   As an added luxury the Garden Pod VIP comes with use of robes and slippers.  You can also enjoy the communal fire pit and make the most of enjoying the outdoors and the picturesque surroundings.

Lincolnshire itself is a wonderful county to explore.  Highlights include Mablethorpe's golden beaches and the ancient city of Lincoln itself.  Lincoln is a bustling place to be with great shopping, nightlife and sight seeing including the imposing catherdral and castle.

"Our Landal Laceby Manor Pods review: We had a pretty lovely weekend here! The inside of the pods is really cosy and the hot tub was a definite highlight. The space inside was bigger than we expected, which was great, though the shower and toilet are a bit tight-still manageable for a couple of nights. One thing to watch out for is the lack of lighting on the decking at the back, so it gets tricky to see the path after dark. Signal was pretty poor in the pods, so dont plan on much internet time. The walk from the car park is about five minutes, so best to pack light! Overall, a relaxing break that we enjoyed a lot."

The Jungle Zoo
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.

Pleasure Island
Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.

Rushmoor Country Park
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
