Guy - Apr 2025
"Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely come back!"
Chris - Apr 2025
"Overall, the place is pretty clean, just a few dog hairs here and there-under cushions, in the sink, outside. Apart from that, honestly, its mostly spotless, no dust at all!"
Emma - Mar 2025
"Dog hairs left under cushions on sofa, in sink in smaller room and on the outdoor seating area, but other than that honestly spotless not a spec of dust in sight"
Chloe - Mar 2025
"Really enjoyed our stay, the lodge was super comfy and had everything we needed. Would go again!"
Alex - Mar 2025
"Weve stayed in quite a few lodges over the years and honestly, this one really stood out. The little extras like a welcome pack, tea, coffee and basic kitchen supplies made a real difference - its those small touches that count. The park itself is super peaceful, perfect if youre after some serious R&R with no noisy distractions. The only hiccup was the bed; it wasnt the most comfy, so catching some good sleep was a bit tricky. We didnt interact much with the staff, but when our boiler broke down, they responded really quickly and sorted it out fast. One thing to note is that the lodge was listed as Dream View on my booking, but actually called Aubrey. Maybe the website needs a quick update on that. Overall, a lovely stay!"
Ellie - Feb 2025
"Overall, a lovely stay! Just a small suggestion-my partner mentioned adding a light by the steps for those dark nights."
Laura - Jan 2025
"This place is a real gem! Super cosy and perfect for some peace and quiet, yet not too far from everything we needed. The hot tub was a highlight and the underfloor heating kept us warm all weekend. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie really made us feel welcome. Can't wait to return!"
Edward - Dec 2024
"The lodges were perfect for our birthday bash, comfy, clean and well-equipped. Highly recommend!"
Sarah and Emily - Dec 2024
"We had a lovely time exploring the fields with the dogs, it was truly a great day out."
Ella - Dec 2024
"We've visited here four times now and love it! The staff are always so friendly and its just so peaceful-exactly what were after. Well definitely be booking again soon!"
Rachel - Nov 2024
"Really enjoyed the stay"
Oliver - Nov 2024
"The lodge was surprisingly spacious, with beautiful decor and comfy furnishings. The outdoor area was just as impressive - huge space to enjoy. Wed definitely stay again!"
James - Oct 2024
"Just stayed here for the 3rd time. Me and my partner just love to come chill and unwind. We dont go out as we both enjoy cooking and the well equipped kitchen in the lodge are perfect. On this occasion we noticed there was a couple of things missing but after letting reception staff know we had a brand new full set of utensils delivered to the door. The hot tub is the perfect way to unwind. The big bonus at this time of year is that there are some lodges with undercover tubs so regardless of the weather you can still enjoy a relaxing dip with your favourite tipple. . Cant wait to book our next visit."
K S - Oct 2024
"Really loved the lodges! Theyre so well thought out and beautifully decorated, feels homely."
Lucy - Oct 2024
"Great lodge . At first we thought there wasnt enough cutlery / pots etc , but they were all in the dishwasher. The hot tub needs to be cleaned, so we didnt use it ."
Liz - Oct 2024
"We had such a lovely stay! The lodge was spotlessly clean and really cosy inside. The garden was fully enclosed, which was perfect for our little dog - we could relax knowing she was safe. My partner enjoyed the free golf included, which was a nice bonus. The surrounding area around Laceby was perfect for walks and its only about 20 minutes by car to Cleethorpes beach. Wed definitely return!"
Amelia - Sep 2024
"Absolutely loved it, can't wait to return!"
Tommy - Sep 2024
"Overall, wasn't bad, very clean and organized. I had 3 amazing nights. The only issue was the hot tub. Wasn't very clean. Recommended."
Alaeddin - Aug 2022
"We enjoyed our stay and would go again"
Adam - Aug 2022
"Fantastic lodge.. Will be booking again very soon. Staff were really helpful"
Johanna - Jul 2022
"Lovely quiet location, about 5 mins drive from supermarket. Great setting overlooking the golf course"
Kate - Jul 2022
"Peaceful and very relaxing."
Jim - Jul 2022
"Fantastic site and lodge was great had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend it to others. Just wee thing for the site maybe needs a small park area for children just to give them something to do but apart from that nice site and walks to do and went to restaurant onsite and highly recommend"
Array - Jul 2022
"Great location"
John - Jul 2022
"The lodge was lovely, spotless, located and equipped to perfection."
Dale - Jul 2022
"I can't really comment on staff as we didn't see anyone, apart from the guy in the bar. The bar closed at 6 on the Monday we arrived, the restaurant was closed & only opened till 4 or 6 on the remaining 3 days we were there. As it's a golf resort we were expecting the restaurant & bar to be open later to cater for the golfers. We found some lovely pubs & cafes in/on the way to Waltham though. Lodge was beautiful & the setting is very quiet. Had a very relaxing stay."
Kathleen - Jul 2022
"Wonderful setting, amazing lodges with top quality furniture and fittings."
Michael - Jul 2022
"Amazing surroundings, restaurants excellent, I don't play golf but the courses looked really well kept."

The Jungle Zoo - NR31 9EY
about 5 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
Pleasure Island - DN35 0PL
about 6 Miles
Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET

Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
