It's also close to the Glenshee Ski slopes if you're looking for a fantastic winter break.

There's a good choice of shops, bars and restaurants in Blairgowrie and if you head to Perth, you'll find lots to do and some lovely restaurants - Deans @ Let's Eat offers locally sourced traditional Scottish cooking in a great atmosphere. The area is a golfer's paradise with courses at Gleneagles, St Andrews and Carnoustie all within a short drive.

Blairgowrie offers a choice of luxury caravans and pine lodges, beautifully equipped with flat screen TVs and Freeview. One of our favourites is the contemporary Firs Deluxe Lodge - with room for six people, it has a spacious living area and an outdoor deck with private hot tub.

Sports and activity enthusiasts could head for Nae Limits in Balliniuig for outdoor adventures, including the Adventure Tubes, the River Bugs and white water rafting.

Blairgowrie Holiday Park Reviews

"The Rowans cabin had been very recently updated & modernised. Brand new furniture & fittings, which was a nice surprise."
Mary - Jun 2022
"Highly recommended, the perfect place to relax, or enjoy a wee wonder in Blairgowrie for some lovely food and refreshments "
Kerry - May 2022
"Very enjoyable, brilliant time to relax."
Paul - May 2022
"The only thing for us there was Ash on the outside table which we noticed as non smokers."
Emma - Apr 2022
"Everything felt new and wonderful. The heating was great - we were very cosy and warm. The one exception was the remote control which seemed to be bitten by a dog or a child with sharp teeth."
Heather - Dec 2021
"We booked a last min get away with the kids age 4 and 1. We arrived at the lodge really straight forward door open keys on the table. Lodge was very clean and it had all the little touches. Tea bags, biscuits and even dishwasher tablets. The lodge itself was very clean and beautiful inside. The master bedroom had double doors right out to the hot tub which was a nice touch. Hot tub was maintained every day by staff and was very clean. Scenery was beautiful and peaceful. Overall it was a really good stay and we would definitely come back. Can't rate it enough."
Leanne - Nov 2021
"Needs upgrades such as cooker and furniture"

"Fantastic lodge maybe needing a wee bit updating"
Verified Guest - Oct 2019
"The lodge was wonderful, bigger than I expected it to be and maintained to the highest of standards. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you'd expect to find and even had a dishwasher and washing machine which were both useful to have. Small touches, like having a clothes airer, umbrellas etc just made the stay all the better.

We had a hot tube which the staff checked twice per day and so you felt totally assured that it was completely safe and clean to use. Having cover above the hot tub was also great, you can't be surprised to find a few showers in Scotland and I'm happy not to have been rained upon whilst in the hot tub, despite relaxing in water!"
Mark - Aug 2019
"We will be returning for sure"
Alison - Apr 2019
"Exactly what we needed."
Linda - Nov 2018

"Blairgowrie Holiday Park was very clean, tidy and quiet even though there were children on site they were very well behaved. Although we didn't have a dog It was a very dog friendly resort. The resort is ideal for touring North East Scotland and
Perth is less than fifteen miles away. Would definitely go again but would book a lodge with a hot tub."

"Nice and quiet peaceful hot tub was amazing inside lodge was too hot for summer should provide fans and should add mosquitoes net at each windows as was a lot off flies inside but if it was winter would be a cosy stay hopefully be back near Christmas."

PAUL - Jun 2022
"We have visited Blairgowrie Holiday Park multiple times now & still love it! Me & my family spent a week at Blairgowrie Holiday Park, the site has been updated since our last visit with a new AMPR barrier making the site feel safer & more secure, plus they have kept some measure in place since covid but these measures work well. The site was clean, quiet & well kept. The staff were friendly & very helpful. I would 100% recommend anyone to visit Blairgowrie Holiday Park, we will definitely be back again"
Mary - Jun 2022

"We were able to get into our lodge earlier than indicated in the information. We had travelled to arrive earlier due to predicted bad weather and were delighted to get into our accommodation when we arrived. We were also able to hire bathrobes as well which were brought to our lodge. Staff who tested and cleaned the hot tub were very friendly. We all had a wonderful stay - celebrating a friends 60th birthday."
