A lovely week away. The host Duncan was very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area, and very kindly provided a welcome pack. The lodge itself is gorgeous, filled with everything you need and spotlessly clean. The surroundings quiet and feel out of the way which was perfect for us as we wanted a quiet week. The hot tub was great, again spotlessly clean. Our dog loved running around the garden which was enclosed, meaning we didnt have to worry. Some lovely nearby towns, our favourites were Kington and Leominster, the Elan valley was also worth a trip.

Overall this is a perfect place to stay if you want to get away from the noise of a larger more lively resort. The only thing lacking is wi fi, however this did not concern us because we got a good 4G connection and surfing the net on holiday is something we can go without.

If you want a good base for exploring Wales, you will not go wrong.

This was such a beautiful lodge, in such a beautiful location. We thoroughly enjoyed our break here and would certainly return.

It was excellent value for money. The lodge was cosy and perfect for 2 or a family of 4. Everything we would need was provided for, plus extras, such as a welcome treat of snacks, tea and even a pint of milk.

The hot tub was an extra bonus and even in the snow (which we had whilst there) it was used every day.

The beds were comfy and the lodge was lovely and warm. It was ideal for a relaxing, peaceful get away with nothing else around.

Duncan, the host, was great and was happy to answer questions before we visited.

Fantastic relaxing weekend. Lodge was amazing, equipped with everything you might need, even dishwasher tablets.
Duncan was the perfect host and the welcome pack which included eggs from his brothers farm was a really nice touch.
We booked this lodge for the location and hot tub, we were NOT disappointed! Looking at the beautiful views across the valley whilst relaxing in the hot tub was perfect.
A completely chilled out and recharge from city life weekend.
Thanks Duncan, we will be back!

We had a fantastic weekend in our lodge. It was immaculately clean, spacious and in the perfect location for a weekend of rest and relaxation.
The hot tub was amazing and we was even greated with a welcome basket of essentials which was a lovely touch.
Everything had been thought of, even down to tablets for the dishwasher and tea towels.
All in all we had a great weekend, we would definitely recommend the lodge and will certainly be back!!

Date of stay: 24th July 2017
As previously stated as regular Hoseasons visitors this has too be the best laid out lodge we have stayed in. With Duncan a regular visitor to check the hot tub he is also on hand for info. The only thing that might be a problem is poor phone signal and no internet (hurray). Views over the valley change with the weather something to look forward too. As well as the dark skies.

We loved our stay at the lodge. The lodge itself is immaculate and has everything you need. The views are beautiful. We enjoyed walking in the Elan Valley and also walking to the local pub one day. The hot tub was fab - we saw a shooting star one night while relaxing in it. We stayed the week before christmas and it had been decorated with a christmas tree which was a lovely touch. Would love to go back again.

Excellent lodge in idyllic surroundings. Well equipped and appointed lodge thoughtfully designed, plenty of space with a lounge/diner, reasonable size kitchen and a further seating area in the conservatory. Hot tub amazing! Easily fits four and with nice features such as bubbles, lights and a fountain. Lovely location on a rural farm with supermarkets within driving distance and a pub within walking distance. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and Duncan was a pleasure to deal with, would definitely stay again.
