Where's Trewythen Lodges?
Mrs B Anderson
We spent a fantastic weekend at Trewythen Lodges in September. Our lodge was really spacious and had everything we could need for a short break. The views from our deck were amazing. I would recommend a ride into the village of Llandinam as it has some lovely pubs and a good selection of shops.
Lani, Bristol

Although I wasn't able to sit on the decking I was a little disappointed that there was no "comfy" furniture to relax on.
Rhys, Newport

Great place to stay. The lodge was warm, clean, and comfortable and both Ann and Paul were welcoming and friendly. The hot tub was ideally placed to both soak and take in the views.

Quiet a lot of dust and cobwebs about. But not enough to feel like your staying in a place that isn't clean. Just attention to detail needed on all fittings and lampshades etc...

Date of stay: 19th February 2016
Had a fabulous time here. The views and lodge were great. Everything and more was in the lodge. The only concern I would have had is if we had come as a group we would have missed out on the restricted times allowed in the jacuzzi out by 8pm. As we like our walks and it would have rushed us to get back to have our chill out after our meals.
Jemma, Penzance
Date of stay: 19th February 2016

A great lodge in a lovely location. Would certainly visit again, hopefully with better weather next time. Bit of a mystery as to why the hot tub can't be used after 8pm?

Date of stay: 16th October 2015
I stayed in the jasmine lodge which is gorgeous, the hot tub is on the side of the lodge so it was a quick dart to the lodge when we got out as it's a lot colder when you get out but go and warm up in the sauna. Overall a great lodge and definitely value for money.

Date of stay: 11th September 2015
The lodge was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The Hot tub was also very clean well maintained and, despite being at the door of the lodge, was not overlooked by other lodges, so was quite private.
Julie, Barnstaple
Date of stay: 4th September 2015
Best lodge we've stayed in. Clean, tidy with everything you need. Hot tub lovely and clean and well kept. Couldn't ask for anything more.
Alison, Batley
Date of stay: 31st August 2015
The lodge was one of the best we have stayed in for comfort and cleanliness. I do think however that the hot tub rules could be a little bit more relaxed in terms of the lenght of time you can stay in and also the shut down time of 8.00pm.
Date of stay: 3rd August 2015
This is a lovely site, with beautiful views over the local countryside. The chalet was comfortable and well appointed, and very well cleaned. Our only area of discontent related to the use of the hot tub. We were aware prior to arriving that the tub would be closed at 20:00 hrs, which was slightly off putting but not unacceptable. When we arrived we were told that we could not stay in the tub for longer than 30 minutes; when we had been in the tub for 45 minutes the owner came and told us to get out. This is health and safety gone mad, and a very patronising approach to two mature and completely sober adults. It was not necessary and spoiled things a bit. We also felt that a privacy shield between the chalets to block visibility of the tubs would have been a good idea.
Chloe, Cheshunt
Date of stay: 31st July 2015
This lodge was spotless, we could not fault it! The facilities were brilliant with everything we needed, the large sofa and recliner were very comftable, the beds were lovely and clean also the dishwasher was an added bonus! Brilliant over all thank you Ann and Paul you were lovely hosts!

A beautiful well managed site in a perfect location. The lodges are very comfortable.
One small improvement would be roasting tins and casserole, for self catering customers!!!
And charge customers who steal from the lodges (towels, robes etc).
Stephen, Port Talbot
Date of stay: 20th March 2015
A beautiful lodge, very private and comfortable. Easy to relax and enjoy. Hot tub was great, perfect temperature and wonderful setting. The sauna was superb. Just one criticism which we have found with the three lodges we have stayed in across the country, why aren't there more hooks for coats and bathrobes? This is a small thing but would have made it easier when our coats were wet. We would recommend this lodge to anyone,as there were many scenic places to visit within a short distance away. A really enjoyable break.
Date of stay: 20th March 2015

A lovely relaxing weekend spent in quiet rural surroundings. We would have preferred a more secluded plot, however other guests were polite and friendly. The log cabin was comfortable and warm. We would have liked to use the spa pool after 8pm but were aware of this limit prior to booking. Have already recommended the venue to friends.

Date of stay: 25th July 2014
The lavender lodge was lovely and the bed like a pillow. The walls are all lovely golden wood and the living room spacious and comfy. The bed.....!!!!! Oh my was like a cloud. The only thing that annoyed us was the constant flies but that's not the lodges fault we were in the hills!!! The kitchen is small but cute and over all the lavender lodge was just lovely and relaxing.
Date of stay: 21st July 2014
Only reason for not having full 10's was due to amount of fly's within the lodge.

A very clean and tidy cottage. the only downside was the limited number of Sky channels available. Apart from that a very pleasant cottage and friendly owners.

Would have liked to have had the hot tub till a little later (you had to be out by 9) I think in the summer months it should be 10 -11 pm . But that was my only negative point .

Loved it!! The sauna was small, but big enough for the two of us! would've been cramped if 4 people stayed. Loved our time at the lodge.

Beautiful lodge and spotlessly clean.
A great little site with wonderful views, perfect for getting well away from everything.
The lodge was excellent and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Maybe next time we will see more of Wales
Another great stay with the cute baby lambs and heavy snow fall all adding to the adventure
Beautiful location. Everything you could need in the lodge with plenty of things to see and do in easy driving distance.
Brilliant holiday, relaxing location nice a peaceful but not too far from civilization... Will be going back again
Very nice place surrounded by beautiful scenery but only problem there was is that they had a time limit on the hot tub as you weren't allowed in until after 8am then you were only allowed in at 30 mins at a time then had to get back out for so long then allowed back in for 30 mins then you weren't allowed in after 8pm as if you have been out all day then wanting to chill in the hot tub you had to spoil your day to get back in time to get a chance to go into the hot tub
Owners were really helpful on arrival & during our stay! The lodge was equipped with everything you could need & the views were fantastic from the hotub! Would definitely recommend for a relaxing & peaceful location!
Brilliant relaxing break
The owners were very helpful they even rescued us from a snow drift and snow ploughed the lane so we could gain access to the park. The lodge was warm and clean. Unfortunately due to freak weather the water and chemicals were frozen so we weren't able to us the hot tub (better luck next time )Ann &Paul were apologetic.
Amazingly peaceful and the perfect getaway. The hosts of the park are very friendly and caring but not invasive. All round am amazing experience.
We were unfortunate to book the week when Wales shutdown for 3 days due to unusual weather conditions. Heavy snow falls blocked many roads including the lane from the lodge to the village. Anne & Paul were brilliant! Anne even got bread & milk from the village for us; a 40 min walk each way. The lodge are sited in a beautiful area with views of the hills all around. We'll be back in summer when the weathe should be better!
