Belan Bach Lodges Reviews

"We really enjoyed our stay here! The lodge was easy to find thanks to the detailed notes and the location was stunning. Weather was a bit tricky, but it didnt spoil our trip at all."
Emma Carter - Jan 2025
"Absolutely loved the lodge! It had everything we needed and was super clean. Easy to get to too. Definitely coming back soon!"
Sam - Dec 2024
"Weve stayed here five times now and keep coming back. The lodge is super cosy and warm, with stunning views. Already booked for next November - cant wait!"
Emily - Nov 2024
"Very cosy atmosphere, spotlessly clean and the decors quite charming!"
Emma - Nov 2024
"Our Belan Bach Lodges review: Really enjoyed the experience overall"
Oliver - Oct 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, would recommend."
Alex - Sep 2024
"We had to switch our booking to Banwy Lodge because Hoseasons wouldn't let us bring a baby and they didnt mention this on the website when we booked. The stay was really lovely and wed definitely go back. Its just a bit frustrating having to pay extra because of an admin mistake. Still, no regrets, overall a good experience!"
Emma Clarke - Aug 2024
"Really pleased with our purchase, its exactly what we needed and the price was spot on. Tried reaching the owner about the hottub but no luck, maybe an old number? Still, happy overall!"
Chris - Mar 2024
"Really enjoyed the stay, the lodges were comfy and the owner was super helpful."
Emma - Dec 2023
"Really enjoyed our stay, it was so relaxing and well worth it."
Jamie - Nov 2023
"We booked the three-bedroom lodge called Derwen, complete with a hot tub and it was lovely from start to finish. When we arrived, keys were just on the door, which was a nice surprise and the heating was on already, so the place was super cosy. The place was spotless and the view was breathtaking. The kitchen had all we needed and the hot tub was just right. Overall, we had an amazing stay and cant wait to return!"
Emma - Nov 2023
"Really enjoyed our stay, the hot tub was fantastic, just a tiny outside fix needed."
Dave - Jul 2023
"Absolutely loved our stay at The Derwen. The lodge had everything we needed and the hot tub was so relaxing. Views are stunning!"
Charlotte - May 2023
"Beautiful countryside setting, peaceful and relaxing. Kitchen had everything we needed, beds were cosy. Highly recommend!"
Emma - Apr 2023
"Really enjoyed it, stunning views, hot tubs were perfect!"
Emma - Apr 2022
"Overall, we had a lovely stay. The lodge was warm and comfortable, perfect for a chilly December. The main door was a little warped-probably due to where its placed-but it didnt cause any real trouble. Some windows didnt shut quite right, but again, it wasnt a problem with the weather being mild. Still, if it had been colder, it mightve been a different story!"
Claire - Jan 2022
"We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. Its true, its a bit on the older side and could do with some sprucing up, but honestly, it was super cosy and roomy enough for us. The location was stunning and the hot tub was definitely the highlight-used it every single day! Overall, a great experience and wed happily come back."
Emma - Nov 2021
"Great experience all round"
Emma - Aug 2020
"We had a fantastic experience and will definitely be booking again soon!"
Sam - Aug 2020
"We had a lovely time! Truly peaceful spot, stunning scenery and just what we needed."
Emma - Jul 2020
"Absolutely loved the experience here."
Samira - Mar 2020
"We arrived to a warm greeting from the owner, which was lovely. The cabin was just as described-really good value, surrounded by stunning views and a proper little hidden treasure. Wed definitely come back when the weathers a bit better!"
Alex - Feb 2020
"Great family getaway, lovely spot. Well be back for sure, loved every minute!"
Emma - Feb 2020
"Can't wait to visit once more!"
Emma - Jan 2020
"Had a brilliant time, would recommend."
Emma - Jan 2020
"Honestly, this cabin is a little slice of heaven. The kitchen is surprisingly well-equipped-better than ours at home, even with a dishwasher! The gas fire and central heating keep it cosy, but the underfloor heating in the bathroom is a game changer, especially after a dip in the hot tub. Love it!"
Emma - Jan 2020
"Great escape, peaceful, would do again"
Oliver - Dec 2019
"Lovely relaxing break with family, lodge was clean and beds comfortable, however it is looking tired and in need of a refresh especially decking area"
James - Jul 2022
"Lodge was lovely, if a little small for 3 adults & 1 toddler. Has all essential things including towels. Beautiful views of countryside & animals. Hot tub not really secluded so it didn't get used."
Amanda - Jul 2022
"Celyn Lodge is dated and a little tired, it is not the lodge interior on the picture do if you are hoping for a fresh modern feel, you won't get it. Having said that, the stained pine interior gives it a rustic charm and feels cozy. The bed was comfortable, the Lodge well equipped, and clean. We had no issues with the Hot Tub. The outstanding feature is the peace and quiet, other lodges being at least 20ft apart and plenty of privacy with trees and hedging and the stunning view over the valley. If we are back in this area again, I would definitely return to Belen Bach Lodges again."
Nicola - Jun 2022
"great location lodge was very clean and tidy and well spaced out for 6 occupants, only downfall was having to check out by 9am could of done with it being a little later not easy getting kids up dressed and fed so early."
David - May 2022
"An amazing holiday in such a beautiful quiet place. We stayed in the Onnen lodge and would go back to this cabin."
Lindsay - May 2022
"Excellent, peaceful and tranquil. Perfectly located for a peaceful break away. Nice location for exploring in either direction for places such as the Elan Valley, Devil's bridge which is a nice drive and provides a nice out. Equally if you want to stay on site you have a nice setting and views to relax."
Martin - May 2022
"Our 2nd visit and what a time we had! If you are into a 'bumping' social life this is NOT the place for you. Beautiful surroundings, peace and quite and lots of wild life. No matter what the temperature the hot tub was like a warm blanket, looking forward to the next visit."
Heather - May 2022
"We just had a wonderful stay. It’s a shame there aren’t more photos to see before you go because the lodge is awesome and the surroundings just stunning. It was spotlessly clean and so well equipped with what we needed especially in the kitchen. I highly recommend Belan Bach to anyone looking for peace and quiet, beautiful surroundings and easy travel to enough activities to keep you happy and entertained. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!"
Hannah - Apr 2022
"the owners were great. The lodge was clean and homely. Hot tub was ready on arrival. If anything could have been better it would be the check in and out times. Perfect setting. Thank you."
