Here are some of my favourite fishing lodge in Lancashire, which also have great reviews from our guests. With fishing lakes on site and beautiful countryside surrounding you, these are some of the best places to get away from it all and cast your line. There are even a number of pet-friendly lodges set next to a fishing lake.
A riverside escape in breathtaking surroundings takes us to Riverside Lodge in Balderstone. With its stunning setting on the banks of the River Ribble, this is luxurious waterside living at its finest. I love how the floor-to-ceiling windows flood the lodge with light and offer cracking views of the river!
Fishing from your doorstep – The Ribble provides excellent opportunities for anglers of all abilities. When you’re not casting your line you can explore the nearby footpaths or simply watch for the abundant wildlife from your decking with a drink. The sunken hot tub and gas fire pit create the perfect evening entertainment space overlooking the water.
The historic market towns of Clitheroe and Longridge are both within easy reach and have the boutique shops, great restaurants and plenty of attractions. Further afield you’ve got the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales are both, coming in at about an hour’s drive. And Blackpool is just 35 minutes away.

Hambleton Lakeside Lodges are a series of stunning lakeside retreats that are wrapped around fishing lakes. Each lodge is at the highest standard and features outdoor hot tubs positioned right on the lake’s edge.
What I like about these lodges is you can fish straight from your private decked area. No need to travel to reach the water – simply step outside your lodge and cast your line into the well-stocked lakes.
These lodges are also ideal for families wanting to explore North Lancashire, the Yorkshire Dales and the South Lakes. Blackpool lies just 11 miles away, offering traditional seaside attractions, whilst the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty makes for some spectacular walking right from your front door.
