"Stayed in the same Meadow Lodge as last time. It's lovely and clean. Great location, a short walk to the main facilities, and peaceful.Took awhile to work out how to use the cooker and there is no oven tray for cooking.Enjoyed the cream tea on arrival."

"Great outdoor pool and slides, heated so even on a mild day was nice to use. Indoor pool was lovely with well kept premium feeling changing and wash areas. Lots of outdoor climbing frame things dotted around the park especially the massive one by the main restaurant/pub which was also fairly well priced for food (drink was a touch expensive) and to a good quality. Lodge was nice but did pass on that the things you see and touch were clean and well presented but clearly no effort had been made to clean under things like the beds, one of my sons pull back cars went under and came out the other side with a trail of thick hair and fluff that looked a year old. Also found a purple ******** under the bed when I had to move it out so clearly not been checked or cleaned properly. Annoyed I left my nice new insulated cool bag in the fridge so thats now gone, would have been nice to offer to send it back to me, Id have paid the postage not that they dont make enough money off the holiday costs. But thats my fault. Only the cleanliness of the place let it down. Didnt do fishing but saw a lot of people who had said it was great."

"Everything you need is here. This appeared to be brand new.. A spotless lodge, well equipped, nicely situated high on the hill. Plenty of space, not crammed in like some parks. Amazing views over the lakes and surrounding countryside"

"Everything you could ask for in a family lodge, washing machine and dishwasher was a huge benefit! The lodge was cosy, with everything you could need, lovely touch with the cream teas on arrival, milk in the fridge and washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs. Beds made on arrival and the private electric car charging point was a huge bonus."

"Meadow lodge was beautiful, spacious, everything you could possibly need, was provided. The view was stunning, the hot tub was loved by everyone. Nice to stay somewhere like this with proper beds and decent size rooms.The only downside were the many spiders inside (we all hate them ????) but being right on the lake edge youd expect some. Nothing the hoover couldnt sort though. Added treatScones, cream and jam on arrival ????"

"All the staff were kinds and helpful. Special the man who were working at Kayaks. forgot to ask his name he was always smiles. should give me a credit.The signal of WIFI was strong and stable download and upload speed at 200mb.The lodge was very clean even cutlery. However, the mattress was too soft for me and my wife.anyway highly recommended.!!!!! i'm definitely visit again in the future. even it took me 5 hours of driving."

"Fantastic! The lodge was lovely, all the little added extra touches were thoughtful. Play area is great, my daughter absolutely loved it. Love the fire pit and we had fun there of an evening with some marshmallows. Extremely dog friendly in fact, Ive never been anywhere before that thought of the dogs so much. Amazing!"

"We recently stayed at the Willow holiday home for 6 and honestly, it was pretty great. The place was spotless and felt brand new, which was a nice surprise. The beds and sofa were super comfy, perfect for relaxing after a day out. The kitchen was decent equipped, though the oven could be better - it took a while to cook stuff evenly. We loved having a large fridge and freezer; really handy. The heating was easy to control and kept the place warm without any fuss. The shower was powerful and refreshing, which we appreciated. Our spot was in the back row (number 24), with lovely views - definitely a peaceful area. The main bedroom was a good size with plenty of storage, so no trouble unpacking. The twin rooms were small, as expected, but fine for our teenage daughters. Just a heads-up: the beds in the second room are tiny - probably best for kids or really small teenagers. Overall, a lovely stay for four of us, even though its meant for six. Just keep those small beds in mind when booking!"

"Our holiday was swapped from Finlake last minute due to an accidental leak. Clawford Lakes accommodated us for our week. I can not praise ALL their staff enough. From meeting Mandy the Accommodation Manager , Katie from the Gorgeous Restaurant to meeting Ian the grounds man. The accommodation was extremely clean, modern, spacious & relaxing. The pool as well as the water sports are all included in the price so great for families wanting to get out with nature. We had a hot tub in our lodge which was great for us as a family that wanted to relax & retreat from a workaholic lifestyle. We brought our Chihuahua Kevin with us too & being surrounded with fantastic walks, acres of woods & nature we took great advantage of it all. Weve actually booked for next year. ??????????"

"A fantastic place for a relaxing holiday, even if you don't fish!"

"We didn't come to fish - we just wanted a break, though having seen the lakes I would like to come back and fish them at a let date. The thing that strikes you about the place is how quiet it is and that was acknowledging the building work that was still going on. The welcome pack of goodies was a surprise and a real nice touch - thank you, plus we found a Waitrose not that far away in Holsworthy. The weather, which was great, obviously influenced our review, but it was so nice to have our meals on our patio and just chill and this place lets you do that. We heard that there are big plans for the site, including erecting quite a few more lodges, so it will be interesting to see how things progress. Hopefully the serenity of the place isn't spoilt as it grows. Two small gripes - 1. There was no mirror, except in the bathroom, making drying hair a bit of a challenge (this was more of an issue for my wife - she has a lot more hair than me!) - 2. The shower was a bit small. We're not big people but are a bit older than some and when you dropped the soap, let's just say that it was a bit of a challenge to pick it up! These may both have been addressed in other apartments/other accommodation, but thought it worth mentioning. Overall though, we'd recommend (and have already recommended) this place."

"The lodge was amazing and was situated on the lake side. The accessible bathroom was great for someone with a disability. The takeaway food from the pub was lovely. There was a nice welcome pack which was a lovely touch. Also we could bring along our dog.A fantastic holiday and a fantastic place to stay."

When the spa and leisure lake open something for everyone to do. Definitely going back next year. Small amount of work going on but didn’t spoil it."

"We had an amazing stay at Clawford lakes, the location is simply beautiful. Very peaceful and the staff were helpful. Free bikes/helmets to hire which were of very good standard. The hot tub was super clean, staff check the water every day. Only a few small bits of feedback: no hair dryer in our apartment, no kitchen roll or foil in the kitchen, very basic supplies and for the price we paid a hand pump of soap and shampoo/conditioner would of been a nice touch."
