Goodiford Mill Lakes Reviews

"great fishing"
Stephen - Aug 2022
"Absolutely loved my stay and would 100% stay again ??"
Tara - Jul 2022
"Our stay at goodiford mill was amazing. The host couldn’t of done more. The lodges were out of this world. Quite clean. Everything you need in the lodge is there. The hot tub was lovely and warm. So the fishing. If you want all day action this is the place to come. Arm ache is a understatement. Fish in superb condition too. I will most definitely be visiting for pleasure fishing along with staying at the venue. Thanks again Sam."
Sam - Jul 2022
"We had an amazing time! Stayed in Beaver Lodge. Lodge is very comfortable and does have everything you need. Excellent hot tub always ready for you. Haven’t used the lakes, as we don’t fish. However, saw big fish being caught. Highly recommend this place. Very friendly and helpful owners. Thank"
Ilona - Jul 2022
"Beautiful ,peaceful location a only short drive to the nearby town of Cullompton ."
Carol - Jun 2022
"Had a brilliant time, very relaxing and peaceful would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back."
Michael - May 2022
"Loved it have been before the place is spotless and the hot tub is massive the lovely setting is amazing really lovely walk to kentisbear through the meadow. Could not fault the place But just to be aware that you have to give £100 deposit on arrival but this is refunded"
Katrina - May 2022
"Lovely lodge, clean and tidy with all amenities provided. Hot tub was perfect and was very easy to commute to, just off the motorway yet couldnt hear a thing when we were there. Would definitely recommend"
Sophie - Apr 2022
"Absolute perfect get away for any couple, simply beautiful, quiet, private and isn’t too far from anywhere to enjoy yourself! Absolutely 110% would recommend"
Luke - Apr 2022
"Lovely relaxing break. Very peaceful, accommodation was excellent and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back again."
Janice - Apr 2022
"A great place to go for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. Lodges are clean, spacious and comfortable. They have everything you need for a week away with the added bonus of the hot tub. Close enough to the town if you need anything, as well as easy access to the motorway for day trips, but far enough away to avoid the noise and busyness. Plenty of outside space for children to play and explore. Staff are helpful and friendly. The perfect base for a family holiday."
H r - Apr 2022
"Great lodge with everything we needed.lovely hot tub, fishing & walks very dog friendly!! Would go back again"
Elizabeth - Apr 2022
"We had such an amazing time at beavers lodge! Cannot fault it at all! Only been home a day and already booked to go back next year ?"
Becky - Apr 2022
"stayed in 1 bedroom foxy lodge, the lodge was clean and tidy when we arrived, had a few issues with the lodge when we arrived but were resolved very quickly the next day, the bathroom is a bit tight for space, you come out the shower right next to the sink, you come out the bathroom and the door hits the wardrobe, but other than that thought the lodge was very nice, the hot tub was good and checked regularly, its very peaceful and quiet at night, its in a nice secluded area but you will need a car to visit anywhere, i enjoyed my stay there and can recommend a visit."
Steven - Aug 2020
"Great break for a long weekend."
Nicholas - Aug 2020
"The holiday was very relaxing and the beds were absolutely wonderful so comfortable and very caring it was a really enjoyable relaxing holiday and Id like to say thank you"
Lorraine - Aug 2020
"Well appointed lodge staff friendly and helpful. Fishing lakes excellent. Would recommend even if you don't go for the fishing. Lovely peaceful surroundings."
Linda - Aug 2020
"Excellent holiday, the merest thing is it would have been even more perfect if the quaint little Lodge overlooked the lakes or the brook - like the other lodges. Contrary to what is said on other review platforms the Lodge was immaculately clean, the staff were super aware of the CV19 guidelines, on distancing and sanitising but also super helpful and friendly."
Kim - Jul 2020
"Really lovely venue, the lodge was gorgeous. Very romantic and relaxing!"
Shanelle - Mar 2020
"Great relaxing break cant wait to come again"
Emily - Mar 2020
"Great location if fishing floats your boat ! Otherwise limited on site facilities"
Kevin - Feb 2020
"We loved our stay in Badger lodge last week, we really found the place relaxing and enjoyable. The hot tub was lovely and Paul and the staff could not do enough for us.
The lodge itself had everything we needed in the kitchen and in the place, lots of bedding and we loved everything about it. We have never had such a relaxing holiday!
There is a pub within walking distance called the Wyndham arms which is lovely for food and drinks and was very reasonable. Apart from that, not much around but that is what we wanted! We drove to Tesco on day one and stocked up with lots of alcohol and food and we felt we did not need to go out.
No phone signal which I cannot believe people moan about on here, surely you want a break from society if coming on a trip like this?
We had a lovely romantic anniversary break, the hot tub was gorgeous and we saw lots of wildlife from our hot tub!"
Amy - Feb 2020
"A great country retreat"
Paul - Jan 2020
"I like to think if Id ever go back somewhere then it was good enough. However, badger lodge and the surrounding cabins... I could of stayed there for good. It was an all round amazing time with friendly staff and owners. Thank you very much. Hope to see you again soon."
Scott - Dec 2019
"Staff not friendly. Very stern. Still not had my deposit back. Hot tub unusable 1st night as not ready. Some dirty areas in cabin. Nice peaceful location. Nice furnishings."
Tracy - Nov 2019
"Other than the bed being slightly broke but fixed it was perfect"
Rheanna - Nov 2019
"Simply fantastic- beautifully maintained grounds and lodges in quiet and perfect surroundings."
Deanna - Nov 2019
"Great place to stay to get away quiet and peaceful nice walks and fishing local pub good for Sunday lunch"

Sally - Oct 2019
"Lodge was amazing but in parts smelt slightly foisty but didn't ruin the holiday"
Lizzi - Oct 2019
"Just had a lovely relaxing break.
Some great walks for the dogs too and extremely peaceful.
Would go again and strongly recommend."
Jennie - Oct 2019
"Beautiful little site."
Susan - Aug 2019
"A beautiful and relaxing places, the lodges was very clean and comfortable"
Lesley - Aug 2019
"Brilliant time the only suggestions we would make are
) provide lockable storage for rods
)
Make the lake from the lodges more accessible we had difficulties getting the fishing barrow across the stream and up the hill
But still had a fantastic stay"
Joanne - Jul 2019
"Overall our experience was lovely, I dont think the hot tub was checked on a daily basis and the shower could be better, the cleanliness of the cabin was not quite up to the standard we expected e.g. cobwebs, dusty glasses and cups. Apart from that a very enjoyable holiday and park was run by friendly staff."
Abigail - Jul 2019
"Lovely owners who were there to help with anything we needed"
Rachel - Jun 2019
"Overall we were very pleased with our log cabin, not to many just enough for a peaceful stay. Hot tub was clean and well maintained by the staff. Lovely surroundings if you want to go for a walk ( would advise walking to the next village and back through the public footpath through the fields)."
Andy - Apr 2019
"Was so good lovely place only thing was internet and signal was not great"
Paige - Feb 2019
"We really enjoyed this cosy lodge."
Lee - Feb 2019
"Another fabulous break. Total relaxation in beautiful surroundings. Cant wait for the next one!"
