"Really enjoyed our stay, the hot tub made it extra special!"
Emma - Mar 2025
"We really enjoyed our stay, it was so calming and restful. The lodge had everything we needed and felt super cosy. The hot tub was a real highlight, kept perfectly maintained by friendly staff each morning. Nothing was too much trouble at all!"
Emma T. - Mar 2025
"Really enjoyed our stay, staff made it special."
Mark - Oct 2024
"Our Goodiford Mill Lakes review: Great place, everything I needed was there, very clean and well-maintained."
Alex - Oct 2024
"Weve stayed here before, but Otter Mill Lodge was new for us this time. The place is super clean and comfy, with decent heating, hot water and a new WiFi system which is handy. The hot tubs are spotless and a real treat after a day out. My husband really enjoyed the fishing and says its fantastic. The only downers were the mattresses, which werent very comfy and the bath/shower felt a bit tired and old. Still, weve booked again because he loves the fishing and the peaceful setting really makes it worth it!"
Emma Roberts - Oct 2024
"Great for family trips, very comfy and warm!"
Emma - Oct 2024
"Looking forward to our trip next year!"
Jamie - Oct 2024
"We loved this spot! The peaceful vibe is perfect for fishing, relaxing and soaking in the hot tub. Two supermarkets nearby and the staff feel like family-always friendly and super helpful!"
Emma Carter - Sep 2024
"We had a fantastic stay! The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed, especially the well-stocked kitchen. The bed was super comfy and the hot tub was just what we needed for relaxation. The owners are lovely and the location is so peaceful yet close to town. Definitely recommend those fish and chips too!"
Mark - Sep 2024
"We come here mainly to unwind, not fish and honestly, Badger Lodge's peaceful vibe really hits the spot. The bed is comfy, though the fridge and storage are a bit tight. A quick anti-slip mat in the shower would make things perfect. Still, we love it!"
Emily Carter - Sep 2024
"Really enjoyed our visit"
Jamie - Aug 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay at Foxy Mill. The studio had everything we needed, including a dishwasher and was spotless. The bed was super comfy. The walks around the lakes were just lovely. Well return for sure!"
Alex Turner - Aug 2024
"Great stay, would recommend to friends."
Emma - Jul 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend it."
Emma - May 2024
"Beautiful place with a peaceful vibe, plenty to keep us busy, we'll return soon!"
Oliver Grant - May 2024
"We loved the cosy feel with gas central heating and the combi boiler. The Freeview TV was a nice touch. The fishing was fantastic-such a guarantee of catching a fish! Definitely rebooking soon."
Emma Carter - Apr 2024
"We loved the peaceful, quiet vibe of the lodge, but honestly, the cleanliness couldve been better. Still, a good week overall!"
Emma Clarke - Apr 2024
"Even though our Otter Mills hot tub was out of action, we got upgraded to Hedgehog Lodge and honestly, it was brilliant! Super clean, roomy and that hot tub was such a treat. We really enjoyed our stay!"
Emily - Apr 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, will come back!"
James Carter - Mar 2024
"Perfect for unwinding and relaxing"
Emma - Feb 2024
"The lodge was super comfy and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a real treat, especially since its covered - perfect for rainy days! Great spot for exploring Exmoor and nearby coastlines too."
Emma - Feb 2024
"We had a lovely weekend overall. The place was warm and cosy, which we really appreciated. There were a few tired spots and the bathroom had some mould and cobwebs up high, so maybe a bit more attention needed there. The info was a bit off-turned out there was a dishwasher with tablets, which was great! Staff were super helpful, though we could do with more crockery and a mixing bowl. Still, we enjoyed our stay!"
Emma Carter - Jan 2024
"We had another lovely time at Goodiford Mill, our fourth visit, but our first in Otter Mill Lodge. The hot tub is fantastic, especially now it's been upgraded. The lodge itself is cosy, well-equipped and the beds are comfy. Only thing is, the double bed was a bit tight for us, so we ended up sleeping apart. The bathroom could do with a refresh, but overall, a great place at a good price!"
Emma - Jan 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay! The lodge was surprisingly spacious inside, well-equipped and perfect for relaxing in a peaceful setting. Would come back!"
Emma Carter - Jan 2024
"We loved the peaceful vibe of the cabin, even if some furniture felt a bit old-fashioned. Would definitely come back!"
Tom - Jan 2024
"We recently stayed at Goodiford Mill for the first time and honestly, were already planning to come back next year! The lodge was spotless and the hot tub was a lovely touch after a day out. The areas so peaceful and picturesque, perfect for unwinding. My partner really enjoyed the fishing; the lakes are kept in great condition and well stocked, which made it even more enjoyable. If we had to pick a tiny gripe, itd be that wed love a walk-in shower instead of a bath with a shower overhead - itd make the bathroom feel a bit fresher. Also, it was a bit mouldy around the edges, but the shower itself was powerful and hot. All the staff were lovely and very helpful, which made our stay even nicer. We had a really relaxing week, thanks a lot!"
Sam - Nov 2023
"We absolutely loved our stay! The lodges were perfect for our group of nine-four adults and five kids. It was so nice seeing the children just being kids, playing freely and safely. Honestly, we didnt want to go home. Cant wait to return someday!"
Emma Roberts - Nov 2023
"Absolutely loved it"
Martin - Nov 2023
"Perfect spot to unwind and relax."
James - Aug 2020

Stephen - Aug 2022
"Our stay at goodiford mill was amazing. The host couldn’t of done more. The lodges were out of this world. Quite clean. Everything you need in the lodge is there. The hot tub was lovely and warm. So the fishing. If you want all day action this is the place to come. Arm ache is a understatement. Fish in superb condition too. I will most definitely be visiting for pleasure fishing along with staying at the venue. Thanks again Sam."
Sam - Jul 2022
"We had an amazing time! Stayed in Beaver Lodge. Lodge is very comfortable and does have everything you need. Excellent hot tub always ready for you. Haven’t used the lakes, as we don’t fish. However, saw big fish being caught. Highly recommend this place. Very friendly and helpful owners. Thank"
