"We had a lovely stay at this good place! The location is so peaceful and private, yet the owners are really friendly and always there if you need anything. The hot tub was such a treat after a long day of cycling. One thing to keep in mind, the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but honestly, it didnt affect our holiday much. Overall, a great find!"

"We had such a lovely stay! The hosts were genuinely kind and went out of their way to help us, which made everything so much easier. The cottage itself is a real gem-charming and cosy, with a great shower and a comfy bed. Parking right next to the property was a real bonus and the place was spotlessly clean. Plus, the location is perfect for walking to Thaxted and exploring nearby villages with those pretty half-timbered houses and windmills. Wed definitely come back!"

"Our Ladys Mile Holiday Park review: We had a great stay in the mobile home! It was spotless and smelled lovely, thanks to the plug-in air freshener. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of space for us and our two dogs. We really appreciated the enclosed decking area, so the dogs could roam freely without escaping. It was peaceful where we stayed but still close enough to the main facilities if we needed them. Overall, a very relaxing spot!"

"We recently stayed here and honestly, the park is lovely and definitely worth recommending. The only hiccup was the neighbouring lodges hot tub, which kept activating its jets all night long - it was pretty noisy in our van, like having a generator right next to you! We tried talking to reception about it, but they didnt seem too bothered. You go on holiday to unwind, not to be kept awake by loud jets. In the end, we just got used to it, but it was a bit annoying. Still, overall, a nice spot!"

The cottage itself is adorable, with a charming half-timbered look, spotlessly clean and super cosy inside. The shower was powerful and the bed was really comfy-perfect after a day exploring. Parking right next to the cottage was a huge plus. We enjoyed lovely walks across the fields to Thaxted, which is full of quaint houses and a windmill. Definitely recommend!"

"We had a lovely stay at Goddard's Mead. Rob and Sharon put so much effort into beautifully restoring this historic building and their warm welcome made us feel right at home. Bonnie was adorable too! The location is perfect for exploring Essex, especially if you enjoy wandering through Thaxted and neighbouring villages-so much history and charming architecture. Definitely recommend taking your time to soak it all in, its a real good place!"

The big fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around safely. The place had everything we needed - fully equipped kitchen and all. We even enjoyed a BBQ one evening. The hot tub was fantastic! "We stayed at this charming cottage on a working farm and honestly, it felt surprisingly private. The hosts, Robert and Sharon, are lovely-really friendly and welcoming. The place is super spacious, with everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. The bed was so comfy, we slept like logs. The garden is perfect for dogs, totally secluded and nicely furnished. There are plenty of nice walks nearby and Thaxteds restaurants, like The Star and The Maypole, are worth a visit. Wed definitely recommend it!"

"Loved visiting lady's Mile, lots for the kids to do on site, they loved sleeping in the safari tent! The tent had hanging space for the kids clothes but none in our bedroom, that was the only downside. Lots to do and visit near by. Staff lovely and friendly. We had a great week there xx"

Other than that, brilliant location, good facilities just slightly disappointed a few things were broke and had been for a long time. Location was really good, couldn't fault it at all."
