Mill Meadow Lodges Reviews

"Buzzard Lodge was perfect. We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary.
Peaceful setting but good for touring the area."
Carol - Aug 2020
"Definitely go again."
Brian - Aug 2020
"The only thing we would like to bring to your attention is the Shower.
It either needs de scaling both in it's inside workings and shower head or totally replacing.

This was our second visit to the lodges in 13 years!

We had a wonderfull time with Wendy at Fox lodge she looked after us really well. We will not hesitate to book again. Thank you. "
Colin - Jul 2020
"Thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend away. The hot tub was amazing. The log cabin was warm and lovely and clean with all the accessories available. We just took food, clothing and a hairdryer. The surrounding area was perfect for walking. There was no amenities local to the cabin which suited us fine. I would like to point out that the shower wasn't at all powerful and although we did bring this to the person's attention and she changed the shower head there was very little difference and we did have to use the bath rather than the shower."
Sue - Mar 2020
"a lovely relaxing weekend, we will return."
Shona - Feb 2020
"The perfect, dog-friendly retreat."
Jason - Feb 2020
"Fabulous, this was our third visit and once again we were not disappointed, total peace and quiet, no internet, limited phone signal, fantastic scenery and a heavenly hot tub, what more could you want, we will definitely be back again."
Michelle - Nov 2019
"Great place to shut off and relax"
Michael - Nov 2019
"Really lovely lodge - our holiday was fab. No internet was actually really good as it meant we had to switch off from everything giving us more time to spend with our children playing board games and in the hot tub. The fire was really nice too and made it really cosy. The field was perfect for the dog and the children to play on. It is definitely a get away from it all holiday but we did go to the nearby town (husband loved the games shop), and went to Powis castle which was amazing and I would definitely recommend that."
Alicia - Nov 2019
"The hot tub, the wood burner and the peacefulness, love it here"
Shane - Oct 2019
"Back next year cant wait"
Jane - Oct 2019
"Definitely going back"
Paul - Sep 2019
"Amazing location. Easier to get to than some of the places I've been but still very private and remote.

Lodge was really well cleaned and designed. Hot Tub was well maintained throughout our stay without being disruptive to us.

Would gladly stay again."
Nicola - Aug 2019
"Great. Highly recommended for relaxing break."
Gareth - Aug 2019
"If you want peace and quiet this is the place, nothing but the sound of sheep. The lodge is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and very comfortable. Amazing to see the stars at night."

"This is our second visit to Mill Meadow Lodges. We stayed in Buzzard lodge. We love it here. The location is so peaceful surrounded by beautiful countryside. The lodge is clean and comfortable. It has a great hot tub which is very well maintained. Lots of walks to do in the surrounding countryside. We will return."
Sarah - Jul 2019
"Buzzard Lodge location was perfect. Clean and well equipped. Included a hot tub, which was so relaxing after a long walk.
Only thing I would say needed improving was the mattress on the bed, it was too soft for my liking."
Gregory - Jul 2019
"Excellent return visit and was as good as our first holiday four years ago."
Gillian - Jul 2019
"We all had a great holiday! We loved every mintue of the peace and quiet! Never been to a lodge so remote which was very relaxing."

"We always love staying at mill meadows - this is our 4th visit in 3 years; the refurbished buzzard lodge is stunning. The more powerful, walk-in shower was a very welcomed upgrade and overall we think this is by far the most luxurious stay we've had here and we can't wait to come back in May 2018. Thankyou again for a wonderful peaceful retreat."
