Great holiday in a lovely location.
Trevor, Melton Mowbray
Date of stay: 19th February 2018
Lodge was very nice with a wonderful location. It was great to have both a hot tub and sauna with the lodge. It was well "kitted out" with the essentials although for the cost of the lodge it would have been good if bathrobes and slippers were included in the price instead of having to pay extra.
Deborah, Wigan
Date of stay: 19th February 2018
Outstanding ! I think two many words might spoil our impression. It was simply Outstanding!

Beautiful Lodge with everything we needed for a perfect romantic escape. The hot tub and sauna were lovely, along with the log burner and the four poster bed with soft snuggly bedding , all added up to a lovely experience and atmosphere for us

Date of stay: 12th January 2018
Loved these log cabins. When you open the curtains you half expect to see deep snow as the log cabins make you feel like you are on holiday in Alaska. A refreshing change from the usual prefabricated building that has wood cladding.
Stephen, Oldham
Date of stay: 30th December 2017
Montana 1 was a lovely, cosy lodge. It had everything we needed equipment wise and the views were fab. The hot tub is in a quiet, secluded area, so you can enjoy the views without being on view!
Becky, Manchester
Date of stay: 27th December 2017
Amazing views from the hot tub as serenity 2 has the best views, lovely and comfy beds, spotless, greeted with champagne and chocolates wouldnt of wanted to spend Christmas 2017 any other way! Perfect!

Date of stay: 8th December 2017
The log cabin was lovely, homely and warm despite the snow outside. The hot tub was great, well sheltered and amazing when it was snowing. Beautiful views and bracing walks straight from the door.
Date of stay: 6th December 2017
Set in a beautiful secluded location you could not ask for more. My newly married wife and I spent two nights in one of the fantastic log cabins. Roaring wood burner, outdoor hot tub and sauna it was fantastic. The cabins are located at different heights and orientations on the site to ensure you have as much privacy as you could wish for. The site is close to local amenities and easily accessed. I would not hesitate to book here again

Beautifully kept lodge with amazing views. Only downside is that there was no outside lighting by the hot tub. No on-site facilities as such, but this was known beforehand.

We had a very relaxing stay, the lodge was really comfortable and everything was provided for us. It was so nice when we arrived to walk into the lodge with ambient lighting and music playing and the Bucks Fizz and dog biscuits was a lovely touch. We stayed in Montana 2 and the pictures do not do it justice, it is just so cosy with such stunning views. Lovely stay very happy family, dogs loved it!

Please see above comments. A pleasant short stay in beautiful countryside. The lodge is starting to show its age and we were attacked by midges despite our best defensive efforts. The staff on site are very friendly and welcoming.

Date of stay: 18th June 2017
such a beautiful homely lodge got everything you could think of in the kitchen and it was immaculate, maybe a king size bed would have been better as my hubby quite tall hehe
Michael, Sunderland
Date of stay: 16th June 2017
Would have gave it a 10 if the lodge had sky tv or wifi. Meant on a night having to watch dvds and stuff as travel into nearest town was quite a distance away. Especially being there for 4 days. Other than that i couldnt fault the place. Even feel harsh saying about the sky/wifi but it would help for evening entertainment
Steve, Leeds
Date of stay: 12th June 2017
It would have been perfect if there was a gazebo covering the hot tub so when the rain came down we were able to remain in it . We had some heavy rain so unfortunately couldn't go in it the last day we were there which was really disappointing . also a bell attached to the bedroom window on a string so the husband can be woken when the wife wants a top of of wine A ranch to hang your towel /bath robe when getting out of the hot tub would also be a bunus as there is only space to put it on the floor . Apart from that absolutely perfect and will definitely returning again
Scott, Somerset

Date of stay: 27th January 2017
Could have just done with a foot stool in the living area. However this is by far the best lodge we have stayed in. We have stayed in 3 differentry lodges on the site. We love this one that much that we have rebooked for the same lodge later this year.
Date of stay: 20th January 2017
Was a nice break in a luxlury lodge with everything you needed
Rachel, Barnsley
Date of stay: 9th January 2017
The lodge had so many mod Cons it was out of this world. We stayed in the Alpine lodge which is absolutely perfect if you have a baby like we have. The hot tub is just outside the main bedroom and therefore when our baby had gone to sleep we could use the hot tub whilst keeping an eye on her and get to her quickly if needs be. There seems to be so many things that you can no longer do when you have a baby however this is not a problem at this lodge. The kitchen was better equipped than our kitchen at home and there is so much attention to detail to make you stay just perfect. We will definitely be using this lodge again.

Date of stay: 10th October 2016
I could not recommend these lodges highly enough. Stunning views across the countryside with each lodge having its own bit of privacy, the hot tub was awesome to enjoy those views from!
The lodge itself was very cosy, well decorated and kitted out with everything you could possibly need. The bed was the comfiest I've ever slept in!
Hosts were lovely. Welcomed with smiles and helpful at recommending places to go plus the bubbly and chocolates on arrival a nice touch.
We got engaged while there that weekend and it was a weekend to remember for a lifetime.
Luxury, peace and tranquility. If you're looking for a relaxing break to just get away from it all, this is perfect for you.

Went with a group of 8 women for a chill out weekend, had an absolutely brilliant time, we didn't venture beyond the lodge & surroundings for the whole weekend, cooking facilities in the lodge were excellent, the views were spectacular & the staff really friendly & helpful.
Alex, Romford
Date of stay: 11th April 2016
In my opinion, Serenity 2 is the best lodge for a couple, as it is situated higher up, you get a much better view and undisturbed from passers by. To be honest, the furniture & fittings could do with updating, although it did not affect our stay - we still loved it.
David, Hull
Date of stay: 8th April 2016
Lovely, cosy lodge, with fabulous views, both from the lodge & the hot tub :-)

We gave 8 for furniture & fittings was due to a couple of minor things:
- The wardrobe space was limited due to the hoover taking up quite a lot of room (a wardrobe isn't really the place to keep a hoover)
- Lack of bedside furniture - there was a very small shelf that was taken up with the lamp with no room for a drink or book. We ended up putting the lamp on the floor so we could use it. Maybe another one could be fitted below or above the one already there.
Victoria, Market Weighton
Date of stay: 28th March 2016
Could maybe do with some updating eg sofas and kitchen area
Rob, Birmingham
Date of stay: 18th March 2016
Tamarisk is small but everything is designed in such a way as to make you feel nice and cosy.
The kitchen has a door to seperate you from the living area which is a good idea as most of the lodges we have stayed at before are more open plan and can be a nuisance with noise of microwave etc when cooking.
The bedroom is also quite small but has everything you need including a dressing table and wardrobe and it was fine for all our needs.
There is plenty of light and great views and the hot tub is lovely and private and great for relaxing in after a a day trekking on the fabulous moors.
Kevin, Stoke-on-trent

Lovely cabin, amazing views, peaceful, wildlife to watch which our daughter loves, even little gifts of our dogs when we arrived, has a really big folder with things to do around the area & it has everything you could ever want really.

Date of stay: 22nd January 2016
Each year when we visit there are always signs that the lodges have been updated and improved ( on this visit we were welcomed by electric radiators, instead of the older night storage heater which used to be there )

Date of stay: 16th November 2015
Perfectly located, very private lodge and hottub.
Laura, Cannock, Staffs
Date of stay: 2nd November 2015
Lovely lodge furnished to a high standard. Even our dog was included in the extra special touches - dog towel and the biscuits were very welcome. We did pass on feedback to the staff that the light on the side of the hot tub was very intrusive into the twin bedroom where our children were sleeping. A blackout lining on the curtain on the door would easy sort that. Could have done with robes and flip flops for using the hot tub after the kids had gone to bed as the only access was out the front door onto the road and round the side of the lodge. Wood burner was extremely effect - the lodge got so hot we had to throw the windows open!! Staff were very helpful at doing a water change on the hot tub when we complained about the murkiness of the water, stopping behind till way after normal to complete the change so it would be ready to use the next morning. Would love to return for a week in the spring or summer, a long weekend at the end of October simply wasn't enough.
Nicholas, Manchester
Date of stay: 2nd November 2015
on our 2 seater recliner one of the recliner cables was broken. We still had a single seater so didnt make much difference. A couple of minor things I.e a wobbly table, the recliner, hot water pressure was low but these are very very minor and did not impact on our experience at all. Left a little note to say what we thought needed repairing but the staff were welcoming and very pleasant. Best holiday I've ever had in England.
Tracy, Ilfracombe
Date of stay: 31st October 2015
5th time in Montana 2. Lovely private hot tub.
Tracy, Glasgow
Date of stay: 23rd October 2015
The home theatre system was faulty and would 'pause' halfway through a movie. We played 3 different movies not able to get to the end of any of them so that was a bit disappointing but certainly would not stop us booking the lodge again.
Carol, York
Date of stay: 12th October 2015

On arrival Debbie was very helpful and put all our luggage in the buggy as its a fair distance from car park and serenity 2 is at the top of the hill.the views from the lodge where stunning and hot tub great. I think the lodge could do with some updating but everything we needed was provided and the lodge was very clean. The bath and sauna where a added bonus.we did not eat out as we hired a barberque and takeaways deliver to the site.Overall a great break and we will definitely be back.

Date of stay: 4th July 2015
The location of the lodge was ideal for a quiet relaxing break but does not offer the best views of the countryside around the resort. The lodge was clean and comfortable but more comfortable chairs for outside use would have been nice. The hot tub was lovely but seemed to attract flies and midges from the neighbouring woodland every time we used it so a little unpleasant if you get bitten by midges. The bottle of champagne, chocolates and flowers were nice although it was only a half bottle of champagne and the chocolates were a box of 4 Lindt 'Dor. A 'Welcome Pack' with bread, milk, eggs and fruit juice might also be a nice addition. Would have loved to have tried some of the beauty treatments on offer but felt they were slightly expensive.
Craig, Leeds
Date of stay: 3rd July 2015
the log cabin was fantastic, the sauna was great but the highlight was the hot tub, to relax in at the end of the day in the quite surroundings and looking at the lovely view,no complaints , we are sorry its is booked up for the dates we wanted so would have gone again , cant wait to try for next year

Date of stay: 19th June 2015
We did a mid week break, Monday to Friday it was amazing. On arrival the cabin was so inviting, it was sparkling clean and even had relaxing music playing. The staff are so friendly and helpful spent time chatting to us. The location is a dream, it is a real relaxing hideaway, very romantic. The park grounds are kept amazingly tidy and you can tell are as loved as the cabins them selfs. I fell in love with the 2 cats that lived on the park. I surrounding area is also very pretty with loads of little villages and towns to visit, if you want to leave the park that is. I loved the HotTub was so nice sitting in it at night watching the stars. I will defiantly be back just had the best relaxing time xxxxx
Ian, Stoke On Trent
Date of stay: 19th June 2015
I recommend a more up to date shower unit. Water pressure was very low and a lot of effort was required to wash the chlorine out of my hair after using the hot tub.
Other than that an excellent lodge at an amazing location. Loved the secluded nature of the accommodation. A fantastic break.
Steven, Buckinghamshire
Date of stay: 8th May 2015

Wonderful holiday. Only slight niggle is the power of the shower (due entirely to the height of the cabin) however everything else was incredible.

Lovely, cosy lodge - absolutely perfect. We picked a Serenity Lodge because of the Sauna and really didn't regret paying that bit extra. The hot tub was perfect. We stayed for 3 nights and really didn't want to leave. Will definitely be booking again soon.

Cosy, lovely log burner, sauna a pleasure, hot tub fantastic in both the sunshine and the snow, of which we experienced both during our March break! The view from the lodge and the hot tub is breath taking.

We had a great long weekend between my wifes birthday and mine. We were greeted with a very warm welcome by one of the staff who showed us personally to our lodge. On entering the lodge some lights were on to softly light every room and music played through the surround sound system. She went through and showed us briefly all the facilities including the hot tub which was a really really nice and personal touch. If our lodge was anything to go by for the rest of the lodges, they are all very well kept, very clean and certainly cosy with the log burner. The hot tub was fantastic with each one being very well placed with each lodge to provide as much privacy as possible. We will certainly be staying again!

In our humble opinion, Serenity 2 has the best location of the lodges. The few steps up to it are worth the (small) effort as you end up "looking down" on everyone else.

The showers could do with replacing but they did say the water pressure is low so I am not sure if that would make any difference . Overall you need to experience this place for yourself as words cannot tell you how lovely it was !!!

The only thing I can think of to mention, was that for a beautiful lodge, there was a well used grotty bath mat, which didn't create the right impression, sorry

Only scoring down furniture + fittings as they're starting to show their age a little bit. Kitchen + bathroom mainly - could do with a refit and a few more personal / little touches to make it extra special.

Date of stay: 26th September 2014
We have stayed at many other lodges with Hot Tubs and Faweather Grange was equally good in most respects (apart from access road).

The weather was good and mostly dry during our stay which enabled outdoor activities such as walks (could do with better waymarks). A great base to explore the Ilkley Moor area and Cow & Calf rocks and Bingley, Guisley etc. We had sunshine most of the time apart from one night when rained. The area around the park is well laid out, compact and tidy. Staff were pleasant and polite / helpful. Would love to return for longer next time.

Date of stay: 15th September 2014
Just how I imagined it to be. The hot tub was superb and can imagine in the summer how good it would be for the family to be there . We had a couple have words with us though about parking . We came back from a horse riding trip to no spaces. There was however a couple in a car coming out of a space. When we were parking into it they told us it was their space and would only be 20 mins before they came back..... As far as we were aware no one has a space. There is parking for up to 2 cars per lodge. Great time away and would definitely come back .

Date of stay: 12th September 2014
Cosy little lodge, everything you need. Super comfy bed, jacuzzi bath and large leather recliners you can sink into whilst gazing at the Yorkshire countryside. Tamarisk is tucked away in an elevated position with its own drive. Some of the furniture and fixtures and fittings are a little dated, but in all the lodge served it's purpose and we came away rested and happy, hot tub a big factor in that! Our dogs loved it!
Dave, Wrexham

Everything we were looking for in a peaceful romantic stay. Me and my partner hadn't seen each other in 4 months so it was a perfect getaway to have some us time.
Absolutely loved our stay at Faweather Grange. The lodge was well equipped with everything you could need, especially in the kitchen.
Amazing place would definitely go back worth every penny
We loved our time at faweather grange, the lodge was beautiful. Had the best sleep ever in the super comfy bed. Hot tub was fantastic with nice views of the hills and fields. The staff was lovely and really helpful. Would certainly visit again and again 👍
Absolutely beautiful setting All staff were very helpful and pleasant will DEFINITELY be returning Amanda & Mark
Fantastic holiday getaway. A little difficult to get too as it is down a single track road. We were threee couples and had a great time, were looked after by the staff and had a thoroughly relaxed time.
This was an amazing relaxing weekend for my wife and I. The staff couldn't have been more helpful yet unobtrusive. Couldn't recommend highly enough. We will definitely be back.
Lodge was very nice with a wonderful location. It was great to have both a hot tub and sauna with the lodge. It was well "kitted out" with the essentials although for the cost of the lodge it would have been good if bathrobes and slippers were included in the price instead of having to pay extra.
The most romantic break ever. Setting was perfect. We stayed in Setenity 2. Could not have asked for more. Lodge had everything you could ever want and need. Bed was really comfortable was just like sleeping at home. Hot tub was excellent and the sauna was a great added extra. Service was exceptional. Will definately return.
Beautiful place, very well maintained. Staff very helpful and friendly. Will definately return.
This place is not far from our home but you do have a sense of being away from everything.
only drawback was the shortage of hot water in the kitchen
Great all round, hot water slow but expect that due to its location
A perfect, romantic break. So peacefUl and relaxing. Can’t wait to return next year
