About Landal Kenwick Woods

Enjoy magical woodland surroundings when you stay at Landal Kenwick Woods. Part of the Go Active Breaks Collection, this luxurious collection of lodges is perfectly positioned in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds, set amongst the acres of rural land found in the Kenwick Park Estate.

This holiday park holds a spectacular array of onsite amenities, including indulgent spa treatments, a gym and corresponding fitness class schedule, and an outdoor hydrotherapy pool ideal for winding down after your workout.

Have a go at the unique activities available, including axe and knife throwing, archery, and even a quad bike course if you’re brave! Golfers will enjoy the sprawling 18-hole golf course stretching across the Kenwick Park Estate grounds, and be sure to taste the delicious food offered at the Fairways restaurant, before enjoying your favourite tipple at the Keepers Conservatory Bar.

Choose from a selection of premium accommodation: the Horncastle Spa is a two-bedroom holiday home with a stylish interior and large French doors leading out onto the spacious veranda. The living space is beautifully designed with modern décor and high ceilings.

The Alford Spa is another two-bedroom holiday spot, with wooden detail inside, a modern kitchen, and plush furnishings throughout. Both holiday homes boast a bubbling hot tub on the exterior decking - the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring.

There's plenty to explore in the Lincolnshire Wolds! The quaint market town of Louth is just a few miles away, with bustling food markets and delicious local produce to sample. Admire the town’s Georgian and Victorian architecture or take a hike up the nearby Hubbard's Hills.

The vibrant city of Lincoln is also nearby, with tons of history, heritage and culture to discover: wander around Lincoln Castle, or climb to the top of the intricately designed Lincoln Cathedral for breath-taking views of the surrounding countryside. Delve into Lincoln's past at the Museum of Lincolnshire Life, or learn about the area’s aviation history when you visit the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre.

Landal Kenwick Woods Reviews

"The lodge was spotless and well-equipped, perfect location and had everything we needed for a great stay."
Emily Carter - Mar 2025
"We had a fantastic stay at the lodge! It was spotlessly clean, super comfy and the hot tub was just perfect-so hot and relaxing. We enjoyed a quick trip to Louth and Mablethorpe. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout."
Emma - Mar 2025
"We really enjoyed the stay at the cabin, it was spotless and well-equipped with pots, pans and even washing up liquid, sponge and a tea towel! The only hiccup was the WiFi-got a bit frustrating until we switched to HD, then it was fine. The oven tray was a bit weird since it didnt fit the oven, but overall, its a lovely place. Just a heads up, most cabins are quite a trek from the facilities, so plan accordingly!"
Emma Collins - Mar 2025
"Great stay, highly recommend"
James - Mar 2025
"Our Landal Kenwick Woods review: We had a lovely stay at the lodge. It was quite cosy, perfect for just the two of us and our baby. The hot tub was a real treat after a day out and the surrounding walks were really nice. It was a bonus having the hotel facilities like the pool and restaurant nearby. Only thing was, no Wi-Fi in our lodge, but it didnt bother us too much!"
Emma - Mar 2025
"Really impressed with the cleanliness and stunning views."
Jamie - Mar 2025
"Overall, pretty pleased with everything. Just a small iron mark on the carpet and one of the blinds was damaged, needing replacing. Everything else was spot on!"
Emma - Mar 2025
"We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect and the value for money really surprised us. Pet friendly with hot tubs and leisure facilities-definitely coming back soon!"
Rachel - Mar 2025
"Could use some serious updating now."
Emma - Feb 2025
"We stayed at this lodge recently and honestly, its perfect for a chill weekend. The hot tub was a lovely touch and the place felt really modern and spacious. Its not the place if youre after loads to do, but thats kind of the point - just to relax. A few downsides though: the cooking gear is pretty limited, just one tray, so we brought our own bits. Also, the outside lighting by the hot tub was a bit of a pain, had to use the indoor lights. Location isnt ideal if you want to explore, but theres a McDonald's, KFC and Starbucks about 15 mins away if you fancy a quick bite. All in all, a nice getaway spot!"
Charlotte - Feb 2025
"Great stay! The double beds were comfy and the enclosed terrace was perfect for our dogs."
Sarah - Feb 2025
"We had such a great stay! Visiting in January midweek turned out to be perfect for getting good value. The lodge was spotlessly clean, spacious, modern and had everything we needed. The pool and spa area really blew us away - loads of facilities like the sauna, steam room, ice room, hydrotherapy pool and jacuzzi, all kept us busy. The location was exactly what we were after - tucked away in the forest, great for walks and nature. When we arrived, we found the water was off for some reason, but the staff were quick to help out - less than 10 minutes for someone to arrive and fix it, super friendly too. Would definitely recommend!"
Jamie - Jan 2025
"Our first trip with the little one was quite special and overall, we really enjoyed it. The lodge itself was lovely, but honestly, a few small things couldve been better. The en-suite toilet wasnt flushing properly and the lamps in the bedrooms only worked sometimes, which was a bit frustrating. The only clock in the lodge was broken too. One thing we found a bit tricky was not knowing beforehand if WiFi was available-we didnt have it, so searching for local spots was a bit of a hassle. Still, we left feeling happy with our stay!"
Alex - Jan 2025
"We really enjoyed our stay. The lodge had plenty of space and straightforward heating. The outdoor porch with seating was a real highlight. A TV in the master bedroom would be a nice touch though."
James - Jan 2025
"We stayed at a pet-friendly lodge recently and honestly, it was quite a mixed bag. First off, the staff really stood out - every single person we met was super friendly and helpful, which made check-in and check-out a breeze. The location was just what we were after: peaceful, secluded and perfect for relaxing away from the hustle. Plus, with no phone signal, the free WiFi was a lifesaver - decent speed and reliable throughout our stay. Now, onto some of the not-so-great bits. The lodge was meant for up to six, but the kitchen equipment was pretty limited for that many people. We had to buy extra dishes just to cook properly, which was a bit of a hassle. The doors definitely need some TLC - the front door squeaked loudly and wouldnt close properly without using the handle, which felt odd. The back porch door was a nightmare, jamming constantly and the lock looked like it was on its last legs, making us worried about whether it was secure enough. The knives were another let-down; many were blunt or had dints, making cooking a bit frustrating. The carpets showed a lot of stains, probably due to the pet-friendly policy, but a good deep clean wouldnt go amiss. Lastly, the beds werent the most comfortable; we could really feel the springs, which made sleeping a bit tricky.Overall, despite the few issues, we enjoyed our stay thanks to the lovely staff and the peaceful setting. Wouldnt mind returning, but some things could definitely do with an upgrade!"
Jessie - Jan 2025
"Lovely weekend with the whole family"
Emma Carter - Jan 2025
"Honestly, we were pretty disappointed with the massage - it didnt feel very thorough or relaxing. The manicure was very basic, just filing and polish that chipped quickly. No hand soak, cuticle work, or massage at all. Not what we expected."
Rachel Smith - Dec 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, the lodge was cosy and spotless."
James - Dec 2024
"Although we didn't try the spa, Lodge 163 looked brand new and was quite lovely. No complaints at all."
Emma Clarke - Nov 2024
"Great spot, would definitely return"
Emma - Oct 2024
"Although not our first pick since our usual place was booked, it was still listed on Hoseasons. Cheers!"

"The lodge was lovely, but I accidentally booked the pet-friendly one and didnt bring my muttlys. Still, I think Id choose the no pets option next time. Definitely a better vibe!"

"Very happy customer"

"We had a lovely stay, perfect for what we needed and nestled in the woods away from other cabins. The facilities were spot on and the kitchens had everything we could ask for. Towels and bedding were very clean, which was great. The only slight issue was a doggy smell upon arrival, but the cleaner sorted it quickly with some spray. Overall, a good experience!"

"We honestly had a lovely stay in the static caravan. It was super clean and kept warm when we arrived, which was great. The hot tub was definitely a highlight - really relaxing! Only thing is, we thought it would be better if the hot tub was on the other side of the caravan, as its right by the main door and quite overlooked by the neighbouring caravan. Also, more toilet paper wouldve been handy - one roll for four days isnt quite enough, really."
Emma Roberts - Sep 2024
"Not worth the visit at all"
Emma Carter - Sep 2024
"Nice spot, would visit again"
Emma Carter - Aug 2024
"We stayed at the lodge recently and honestly, it surprised us how spacious it felt, even though its listed as a studio. The verandah was a real highlight-perfect for relaxing outside, especially with our dog. Its completely secure, so we felt comfy letting our pet explore. The wildflowers around the lodges added such a lovely touch too. We loved it!"

"Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely return!"
Rachel Stevens - Jul 2024
"We loved the place, especially the hot tub! The only odd thing was the bath in the kids' room-tiny and kid-sized, but overall, it was pretty much perfect."
James - May 2024
"Lovely surroundings peace and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The accommodation was excellent and everything you need even a dishwasher. The swimming pool wasn't to over crowded and facilities was excellent will be going again ."
Mark - Aug 2022
"Lovely lodge. Very clean, only downside was how far it was to walk to the spa and hotel restaurant. Not a lot for kids, a park might be a good idea."
Katy - Aug 2022
"Fantastic holiday we stayed in a 1 bed lodge with our dog. Very clean and enough room for 2 people and great hot tub."
Paula - Jul 2022
"Lodge was lovely, staff were very friendly. Lovely base for heading to the beach. The site could do with a play area for kids or some open area to play in away from the roads."
Kim - Jul 2022
"Excellent place one bad thing no internet in our cabin should maybe let people know this before booking."
Andrew - Jul 2022
"Another lovely stay made better by fabulous weather. First time using pool. Great size. Very clean"

Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 3 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.

Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
The Jungle Zoo - NR31 9EY
about 14 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB

Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended.
