About Rosewood Waters

This is a peaceful and tranquil site home to a great selection of caravans and holiday homes, many of which have private hot tubs for guests to use. Situated in the gorgeous Lincolnshire countryside in Woodhall Spa, the park is graced by beautiful sunrises and sunsets, as well as incredible views of the unspoiled greenery throughout the day.

The accommodation available ranges in size, so families large and small will be provided with the perfect place to stay. This is the ideal spot for a leisurely break in an idyllic environment that is guaranteed to provide rest and relaxation, as well as nearby locations to visit during the day.

Lush meadows and stunning countryside views are in abundance at this site, providing the perfect form of escapism. The site is family friendly, meaning it is quiet at night and parents can be reassured that this site accommodates younger children. During the day, there are lots of walking routes through the countryside and surrounding woods for a light stroll with the children.

The forest makes for the ideal exciting location for a picnic lunch. There is a fishing lake on site for all guests to use, where coarse fishing is available. Take in the soothing lakeside ambience and try to see what fish you can catch. With flower filled gardens and nature all around, this truly is a slice of paradise.

The holiday homes available to rent are fully equipped and ready for a family getaway. There are four on site which have a private hot tub, and with this being situated outside, guests can take a soak under the unspoiled night sky once it gets dark. The holiday homes also have seating outside, which is a great spot to enjoy lunch or dinner on a warm day. Oasis View, Sunset View, and Lakeside View all sleep four, making them ideal for a smaller family. Each has an open plan and spacious living/kitchen/dining area, providing sufficient space for all guests to settle in.

The interior is stylishly and comfortably decorated, and the bedrooms have plenty of storage for a longer stay. Lakeside View is new for 2021, and its modern furnishings give it a real contemporary feel. Sunrise View accommodates a bigger family, with two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. The living area has recently been refurnished and has a homely yet elegant feel. Enjoy the countryside views from the hot tub outside or from the garden furniture.

The charming former spa town of Woodhall Spa is a ten-minute drive from the site, and is a lovely, quaint spot for a leisurely outing. Visit Tea House In The Woods for a meal surrounded by the lush trees, and later pick up a sweet treat at the bakery in town. Roughton Moor Wood is a great walking spot for those wanting some exercise through the vegetation.

Skegness is just under an hour’s drive away, and this bustling town makes for a fun day out. As well as the beach, where there are exciting beachside amusements, animal enthusiasts can visit the seals at the Natureland Seal Sanctuary or learn about the marine life at the Skegness Aquarium. Take a half-an-hour drive from the site to Gunby Estate, a gorgeous 18th Century National Trust manor house. Inside there is incredible artwork to see, and outside there’s a beautiful walled garden to explore.

Please be aware that Rosewood Waters is a family-orientated park, therefore does not accept single sex group parties or groups under 25 years old.

Rosewood Waters Reviews

"As said before great place very relaxing lodge and hot tub to watch the sunset and stars
Absolutely brilliant nice and chilled, owners are extremely friendly and chatty with recommendations of whats to offer nearby. Sunset views from hot tub and spotless lodge. We always try to go somewhere different and usually dont return to the same place twice but we would go back to Lisa & Karls lodge again as enjoyed it so much.
Wood hall spa nice little village which has Sainsburys, a local bakery (rolls and cakes amazing), pizza place , Chinese and Indian takeout and lovely pubs and restaurants but still with a local village feel to it."

"Lovely setting and great location. The lodge and hot tub where spotless with the hot tub checked & topped up daily. The hosts are great and go above and beyond to make sure we had all we need & wanted. Great value for money. We will be staying again."

"Just returned after staying at the caravan park with family for 7 days. The holiday was brilliant, had a lovely stay in a spotless caravan with a Hot Tub which we used alot and the kids loved it.

The owners Carl and Lisa were great, really helpful and pleasant from start to finish and everything we needed was provided in the caravan.

We were surprised by the location of the site when we arrvied as it was out in the middle of no where but it was lovely and quiet. We then had day trips out to Skegness and Mablethorpe for beaches, local town Woodhall Spa and other surrounding areas.

Thank you for a lovely stay and all the best."
Zunaid - Jan 1970

"A lovely quiet location set on a small site. All laid out immaculately. Only downside for me having mobility issues is moving around the accommodation. Which was to a very high standard but very restricted with space. Overall an enjoyable stay and recommend to anyone wanting peace and quiet."

"Just returned after staying in Lakeside View lodge for 5 days. The lodge is absolutely stunning and the photos don’t do it justice . The lodge is spotlessly clean and it is very well equipped. It has superb views overlooking the fishing lake and fields. Lovely hot tub to watch the fantastic sunsets from. Owners are extremely friendly and chatty and provided recommendations on what’s on offer nearby. The lodge is about 4 miles from Woodhall Spa-which is a really nice little village which has everything you could need. It has a sainsburys local, pubs , shops and many restaurants and takeaways . It also has an outdoor lido which was really busy whilst we were there due to the heat wave. I would definitely recommend this place for a chilled relaxing break . We will definitely return ."

"We’ve just returned from a lovely 4 night family break. A very peaceful location, and a 10 minute drive from shops & restaurants in Woodhall Spa. The caravan is very well maintained and clean & tidy. It felt home from home. The hot tub was very relaxing and easy to use. Highly recommend."

The site is immaculate, peaceful and perfect for a relaxing break in the Lincolnshire countryside. Lincoln, Woodhall Spa, Tattershall Castle and various aviation museums are in easy reach for days out. The lodge was absolutely spotless with beautiful views over the lake and surrounding fields. Stunning sunsets from the the hot tub in the evening."

"We went during the Easter holiday and our first time staying in a cottage. Very nice and quiet location- perfect if you’re after a relaxing time. Inside of the cottage was very clean, tidy and well presented- it felt very homey. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating! They greeted us right away on arrival. The hot tub was amazing! Just make sure you read the guide book first beforehand- it was very informative for us as we are new to the area. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d recommend it to everyone! Thank you!"
Eda - Apr 2022
"We had a great stay here and would 100% recommend Thank you!"
Tommy - Oct 2021
"Had a wonderful stay here at Rosewood Waters. A real away from it all location but only ten minutes drive to the quaint town Woodhall Spa and twenty minutes from Lincoln. (train from Metheringham saves hassle of parking) The lodge was spotless and so well equipped. The grounds and gardens are immaculate. The owners are great hosts and ensure you have everything you need. Loved the hot tub which is well maintained. The name Sunset View is so apt to see the sun set in the evening. Thank you for a fabulous week ."
Janice - Oct 2021

Attractions Near Rosewood Waters

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Rosewood Waters. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 21 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 26 Miles
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Pleasure Island - DN35 0PL
about 29 Miles
Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
The Jungle Zoo - NR31 9EY
about 29 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
Normanby Hall Country Park - DN15 9HU
about 36 Miles
Normanby Hall Country Park has a fantastically tranquil location Set in the 300 acres of Normanby Hall estate offering a relaxing choice for a family day out. The stunning grounds are abundant with wildlife as well as beautiful flora and fauna and there is no better place for a summer picnic. There is also plenty of open space for children to run around. The Deer park is sure to be a big hit with the children with herds of fallow deer to spot.
