Landal Brunston Reviews

"The furniture was a bit old-fashioned, but the quality was solid. We appreciated the tea, coffee, toiletries and all the utensils provided-really well stocked!"
Emma - Jan 2025
"Great vibe, would definitely return"
Emma Carter - Dec 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, the beds and seating were super comfy and the lodge looked lovely upon arrival."
Emily Carter - Nov 2024
"Great place with everything you could possibly need for a stay."
Emma Carter - Nov 2024
"Our Landal Brunston review: We had such a lovely stay here! The lodge was spotless, modern and smelled wonderful, even with pets around. Its in a peaceful spot close to Ayr, which was perfect for us. The site itself was super clean and the lounge, cafe and pool made us feel right at home. The staff were friendly and welcoming too-definitely recommend!"
Emma Carter - Nov 2024
"We stayed here and honestly, the lodge had everything we needed. Cooking facilities were handy and there was a dog bed plus food bowl tucked away in the cupboard. The shower was great and the electric heaters made it nice and warm. Would stay again!"
Emma - Nov 2024
"We stayed in lodge 11 with three bedrooms, including the family bathroom and en suite we requested. It's at the bottom of the site, super handy. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. Really comfortable and definitely worth the price. Wed come back!"
Emma - Sep 2024
"Looking forward to returning soon"
Jake - Aug 2024
"The place was pretty great overall, especially the facilities. Only downside was the double bed in the main room-it was so firm, we ended up feeling really sore after a weeks sleep. Still, nice stay!"
Emma Clarke - Jun 2024
"Great stay, very modern and spotless lodge, perfect for families!"
Claire Thompson - Jun 2024
"We had a fantastic time, everything was just right for a relaxing hot tub getaway, couldn't ask for more!"
Emma - Apr 2024
"The lodge was super comfy and really clean, which we loved. The chip van was a fun surprise and the food was delicious. Only downside was the pool being ice cold - bit of a shock! Still, we enjoyed it overall."
Emma Carter - Apr 2024
"The staff really made our visit special. They were so friendly, welcoming and eager to help. Honestly, there's nothing to improve with the team-they were absolutely fantastic and made us feel right at home! Well definitely come back."
Emma Carter - Apr 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge! Its a cosy spot perfect for a quick UK getaway. The only minor issues were the WiFi, which kept cutting out in the living area-especially annoying late at night when streaming-and the heating turning off on its own, making the room quite chilly. But overall, everything else was lovely and wed definitely recommend it. Just a bit of a heads up about the WiFi and heating if youre planning to relax and watch some shows. Still, a great place!"
Emma Carter - Apr 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, the place was lovely and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Cheers!"
Jasmine - Jan 2024
"We booked this weekend as a surprise for my mums 60th birthday and honestly, it was a bit of a mixed bag. There were seven of us, so space was a bit tight, especially in the living room where seating was limited - not ideal for such a big group. The beds were comfy, which was a bonus, but the heating in the master bedroom was broken at first, leaving my mum pretty cold on the first night - thankfully, it was fixed the next day. The hot tub was lovely, but getting the lid off and back on was a real struggle and the controls on the side made it tricky to check the temp before taking the lid off. We also found there werent enough places to dry our towels and swimsuits after using the facilities, which was quite annoying. Plus, with seven of us, a drinks fridge wouldve been really handy, especially since there are no shops nearby. The WiFi was pretty much useless, so I wouldnt recommend it if youre bringing kids, especially if they rely on tablets - my little one is autistic and needs his routine. All in all, some good bits but definitely room for improvement."
Ella-Marie - Jan 2024
"Brunston Castle really blew us away! The lodges are spotless and well-equipped. The surrounding countryside is breathtaking, perfect for walks. Honestly, its a place well return to!"
Emma - Jan 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay! The lodge was spotless and had all we needed for a relaxing few days. The only downside was how dark it was at night; there arent many lights around the park, so walking the dog was a bit tricky-had to rely on our phone torches. Also, finding the lodge numbers when checking in was a little tricky in the dark, but overall, it was a lovely stay."
Emily - Jan 2024
"Really enjoyed it, would definitely go back again."
Jessica - Jan 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge; it was spotless and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Being pet-friendly was a big plus, with bowls and towels provided for our dog. The torch available for late walks was a clever idea too. The lady at reception with glasses was fantastic-so helpful and friendly. Overall, a lovely experience and were definitely planning to come back soon!"
Oliver - Nov 2023
"Good size lodge, comfy despite the old-fashioned furniture, quite peaceful."
Claire - Jul 2023
"Great family spot, the hot tub was waiting when we got there, loved it!"
Emma - Apr 2023
"The place was great for our family trip. Even though some facilities were shut, we still managed to have a good time. The staff were super friendly and helpful, which made a difference. The lodge was spotless and had everything we needed. We loved the takeaway pizzas and the location was perfect for heading to Girvan beach and a quick drive to Ayr for fish and chips and some amusements. Would definitely recommend!"
Emma - Aug 2020
"Really enjoyed staying here! The lodge was super comfy and had everything we needed. Hot tub was spotless, too. Would definitely come back!"
Sam - Aug 2020
"We had a lovely time and definitely plan to come back once facilities reopen."
Emma - Jul 2020
"We stayed at this lovely lodge and loved how well-equipped it was. The place really is beautiful. My only gripe is the kitchen layout-being only 51, I struggled to reach most of the cupboards and appliances. Still, a great stay overall!"
Emily Roberts - Mar 2020
"We recently stayed at Brunston Castle and honestly, the lodges are fantastic - really modern decor and super comfy beds. The hot tubs are a lovely bonus, perfect for relaxing. The facilities are straightforward to use, making it an ideal getaway spot. We loved it!"

Michelle - Jul 2022
"Fantastic holiday in ‘home from home’ well equipped lodge. Great on site facilities and close enough to the coast to have a day at the beach. Kids loved it. Staff were extremely helpful too. Contactless check-in and check-out was a breeze. That was our second visit and intend to come back."
David - Jul 2022
"The lodge was lovely, it was spacious and very clean. Peaceful and relaxing area. Facilities were ideal for family time putting, pool or table tennis. We had the pool to ourselves most days. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful, despite it being single staffed most of the time and them having to cover the lounge, front desk, games facilities. We would definitely visit again, we wished we'd booked a few more nights."
Karin - Jul 2022
"Lovely, peaceful location. Accommodation was very good and our boys loved the hot tub."
Mark - Jun 2022
"The lodge was great. The perfect break it was everything we hoped it would be. Quiet, peaceful with great facilities and absolutely hassle free."
Nicola - May 2022
"Lovely chalet in beautifully peaceful surroundings, just the location to kick back and relax. Had forgotten how lovely the Ayrshire coastline scenery is. Enjoyed a lovely meal at Austins in Girvan, also good food at reasonable price at Yasmin's Fine Indian, the owner gave us a very friendly welcome. Will certainly stay at Landal Brunston again."
Catherine - May 2022
"Absolutely brilliant holiday. Can't fault it in any way."
