The fridge had no ice box. So nowhere to store ice-cream. If there is no freezer, then a larder fridge is not a good option! Everything else was lovely. Be aware that only BBC TV and Radio channels are available on your TV.

I had read previews reviews and was worried. But there was no need to be. It was perfect.

It had all we needed as a family of 5 on a sight seeing relaxing break.

We stayed in February and it was snowing so we had heating permanently on for our stay Fri-Mon. The bill was under £10
Date of stay: 27th October 2017
A lovely cottage for two families with six children aged 3-15! Bedrooms upstairs are enormous. The hot tub was a great hit with everyone. Perhaps needs a few items that are child-friendly (plastic cups at least) and there were only eight chairs around dining table when it accommodates ten. More cutlery needed plus baking trays and better knives but overall a great place to stay and we would certainly stay again.
Martin, Halifax

Cost but spacious cabin with a balcony that faces the loch. Well equipped. This is the best view we've ever had from an accommodation (considering we stayed in a beach side hotel in Greece this year that's saying something!)

The surroundings of the cottage could have been improved by cutting the grass and weeding the patio area.
Sara, Kilmarnocn
Date of stay: 23rd May 2016
Definitely not the cheapest for what it is.
It's not Luxury. It's basic accommodation but for the price you'd expect a bit more. The hot tub was a great addition and the best thing about it. It was clean on arrival.
Hot water was a big issue as we had 8 people staying and having showers proved tricky! Then we had to pay gas and electric on top of price- pretty old school way of doing it. It should be included.
Date of stay: 6th May 2016
fantastic definitely will stay again and recommend to family ,friends and work colleagues

Gail, Berkeley, Gloucester
Date of stay: 5th February 2016
Really appreciated the heating being on in the lodge for our arrival - thankyou.
Allan, Bellshill
Date of stay: 1st February 2016
It's not the most up-to-date in furnishings, but they are comfortable, clean and rather modernish. It's also advisable to switch the water heater on when you turn up ;)
Dining table, chairs place settings etc. supplied for a family of six
Unfortunately the heaters don't put out too much heat, but they do enough to take the chill out of the air in low temps.

Can't recommend this place enough, we loved it.
Stephen, Fife
Date of stay: 27th December 2015
We spent Christmas 2015 at the park, including our youngest daughters 15th birthday on Boxing Day.

We had a great time, no real complaints about the lodge or the park. Several facilities were closed but, hey it was Christmas.

The surroundings were beautiful. The lodge was clean and tidy. Despite being winter the lodge was warm. Electricity is paid separately, but for a four-night stay for four (almost) adults, it was only £25 despite cooking the Christmas turkey!

Would definitely stay there again.
David, Dunfermline
Date of stay: 23rd October 2015
good for the money

Karen, Musselburgh
Date of stay: 19th October 2015
The sofa's in our cabin could do with being upgraded apart from that eveything else ok.

I did have to point out to a member of staff that there was a hole in the back of our bedroom door.
Louise, Kennoway, Fife
Date of stay: 19th October 2015
Have stayed here twice and booked to go back again in February.
Log cabins are clean and very well equipped. Location is stunning and views are breathtaking!
We took our 2 lively labs and they were made very welcome when we arrived.
Only negative would be lack of WiFi in our lodge and surrounding lodges.
I feel that customers would benefit from WiFi in lodges to arrange days out and book trips etc.
We took my 11 year old son who claimed prior to going that he would be bored but in actual fact he loved it and can't wait to go back.
Susan, Rhymney, Gwent. South Wales

Comfortable, clean chalet. Great bathroom facilities, clearly updated recently (heated floor!). Enjoyed a good week of highland walking returning to cosy evenings in the chalet.
David, Calonge, Girona, Spain.
Date of stay: 14th September 2015
We have no complaints about the Lodge, we found it clean and more than adequate for us.

The 1970s bathroom with a very poor shower was a bit of a let down.

But overall we had a very pleasant holiday and would recommend it to anyone, especially if
you have a dog.
Avril, Lincolnshi
Date of stay: 11th September 2015
Our second visit to this holiday park & we weren't disappointed. The lodge was well presented and clean.
Although electricity was charged separately, it wasn't much.
Kitchen ware needed a little upgrading.
These were only minor issues. All in all, a great holiday.
Mary, Burton On Trent
Date of stay: 11th September 2015

Had a great holiday. Stayed in loch oich 3 views were lovely looking out on to the river very relaxing. Found plenty activities for the kids wich i thought were reasonably priced. Food and restaraunt was very nice not to pricey. staff were very helpfull and friendly will be booking up for next year x

Would go back to struan cottage the only downfall was sofas in sitting area apart from that could not fault anything in fact very impressed by every thing else considering it is for 10 people and the hot tub was amazing ,would return to struan cottage without any hesitation ,
Date of stay: 17th July 2015
Lodge was lovely and clean. Rooms ample size and comfortable. Some areas beginning to show signs of getting a little tired but overall very good.
Sharon, Inverkeithing
Date of stay: 17th July 2015
Only downside to our cabin was the lack of some kitchen equipment hence the 9 not 10. Loved the cabin and location
Date of stay: 6th July 2015

Date of stay: 30th March 2015
The gas was very expensive at £2.50 per unit, which added a considerable amount to our final bill.

It's a shame the fire was boarded up as that would have been lovely!

Overall a really nice cottage and a nice park.
Date of stay: 16th March 2015
Toaster didn't work (but there was a grill we were happy to use) and kettle probably needs replaced as it was a bit stained. Also the bath panel was cracked.

It was soooo clean though! I was really happy with the lodge :) Can't wait to visit again!

If I had to complain about anything it would be that the hot water doesn't stay hot long enough to fill a bath n the shower has no power to it ,water just trickles out n not much use when water doesn't stay hot
Claire, Glasgow
Date of stay: 9th February 2015
Loved it so much, we have booked up for our honeymoon!
Veronica, Kilcreggan
Date of stay: 6th February 2015
I cannot fault the lodges, however, the TV can be a bit of hit and miss with the signal, bring a good book
Ryan, Dunfermline

As most or all of the lodges have been refurbished over the last few years they are in excellent condition and very clean.

Date of stay: 31st October 2014
Cottage was excellent clean tidy and everything you needed in cottage surroundings were beautiful the hot tub was huge success ha ha plenty of room it was much bigger than we expected everyone had a great time
Peter, Glasgow
Date of stay: 3rd October 2014
Lodge was immaculate and beds extremely comfortable had an excellent time other than the swimming pool being closed for the full duration of our stay.
Paul, Glasgow
Date of stay: 29th September 2014
The accommodation was really nice, however, there seemed to be a problem with the Freeview TV as it was a poor connection and we kept losing the signal only a minor problem as we had other things to do. Only one toilet in a lodge for 6 people was more of a poor planning of the lodge layout,
Sheila, Brechin
Date of stay: 26th September 2014
bit dated but clean you get what you pay for
Martha, Glenrothes
Date of stay: 12th September 2014
The lodge was very comfortable with lovely views over the loch. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed although the touch button hob took a bit of getting used to and we couldn't find any instructions.

Date of stay: 31st August 2014
value for money accomodation, clean but we came back home with loads of midges bites, still we enjoyed the place and value for money adventures outside greatglen water park.
Janet, Basildon
Date of stay: 23rd August 2014
Comfortable beds and furniture and well equipped kitchen but dishwasher didn't work properly and fridge had missing compartment for milk. Drinking water cloudy and brown. We had tummy problems and when we reported it we were not reassured. We bought bottled water. No hooks, airers or anywhere to dry towels other than one small towel rail or the laundrette. No cupboard space for clothes other than very small wardrobes. Having said that wonderful views and lovely site.
Debra, Saffron Walden
Date of stay: 16th August 2014
Would have scored more for value for money, but were charged £28.00 extra for electricity, in the summer?!
Younis, Dubai
Date of stay: 15th August 2014
same as above great place nice and relaxing
Paul, Lichfield
Date of stay: 4th August 2014
Holiday was great, but spent most of the time off site. Park facilities limited to a couple of water activities, very small indoor pool and a rickety swing and slide.
Date of stay: 4th August 2014
One bathroom smelled of mould but we had another one which we used.
Date of stay: 26th July 2014
Only thing missing in house was a freezer
Valerie, Bathgate
Date of stay: 25th July 2014
The only problem was a broken dishwasher.

Date of stay: 7th June 2014
These scores are based upon the Loch Oich Lodge as we were given an upgrade due to a broken door on the lodge we were supposed to stay in. We would fully recommend the Loch Oich Lodge it was very nice inside and the facilities were great and the cleaniness was top notch.
David, Glasgow
Date of stay: 26th May 2014
Oven needed another screw to secure but worked perfectly well.
Also been stung before for paying for electricity at other lodges but was pleasantly surprised just how low bill was considering we used the heating most of the stay.
Date of stay: 3rd May 2014
Slidig door would not shut properly and no body came to fix it after 3 times reporting it but otherwise a lovely lodge
Uday, London
Date of stay: 21st April 2014
We were given the Oich View cottage, but found out the central heating wasn't working. Staff made all efforts to ensure our stay was as comfortable as needed till they got the heating back on a couple of days later.Well done!
Jennifer, Edinburgh
Date of stay: 14th February 2014
The only downfall on this was the hot tub was out of order for one full day as it was not checked that day and therefore not cleaned. But other than that we could not fault the place or the cottage at all, it was ideal for our break away.
Date of stay: 3rd February 2014
Bit sceptical after reading some reviews but couldnt be further from the truth. The lodge was immaculate and had everything we needed for a much needed break with friends. Very good value for money and we will be returning to enjoy the warmer weather and waterside activities. Great find on internet and will definately recommend to friends and family.
Date of stay: 24th January 2014
We weren't too optimistic when we arrived at the cottage but the inside was amazing, it was very clean and the facilities were excellent!
Nice Location ,Clean Property,Good value Just booked another week
Great place peaceful and quite and staff really friendly
If you are looking for a high spec, high finish, 5 star lodge then then these may not be for you. If however you are looking for clean and comfortable at a great location providing great value for money, these are definitely for you. There are also two lodges with hot tubs as well as the larger cottage The restaraunt has just relaunched with a new menu and the small upstairs bar has been tidied up with some new comfortable seating and a nice selection of Gins and beers. Justin has done a great job! The pool is small but great for the kids. All of the staff are warm, welcoming and very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. June ran a great Easter egg hunt as we were there on Easter Sunday. You do pay for electricity at check out - so factor this in, we paid around £16 for 3 nights. The site sits right on the great glen way circle route and approximately 9 miles on a very safe, family friendly path to Fort Augustus. Will definately be returning
Overall very good place however Wi-fi is not good and for me it is important when on 7 night break
